Friends or Not?

Grace was reading a Quidditch book in the library, she’s been studying Quidditch since she got on the team. Grace was focused on her book, she couldn’t hear any talking, none at all, she could see the people sitting across from her had their mouths moving but she couldn’t hear a word. Grace wrote a little Quidditch note in her journal and went back to the book. “Maybe I should get a different book, I wrote enough notes” Grace thought, so she got up, put the book away, and went to a giant Charms book, she set the book on the table and read more, “Why do I like reading so much?” she thought, maybe it was because books are easier to understand then humans, or maybe because she was and awkward eleven year-old. Grace shook the thought out of her head and returned to her book, she bit one of her nails (an annoying habit) and once again, it was like she was wearing sound-blocking headphones, people were saying things, and Grace couldn’t hear it. But maybe it was a bad thing she can’t hear people talking, maybe someone was talking to Grace right now, Grace turned her head, someone was talking to her, it was Savannah Griffis.

Friends or Not?
@Grace MintSavannah had to do it, she met this girl once, but she could tell something might happen between them, no, she wasn’t a seer, but she could feel it, Annah also had to apologize about reading a letter she wasn’t supposed to read. So Annah entered the library, Grace said she would be there, so Annah went in, it was beautiful and big, full of different color books that kind of hurt your eyes. Savannah went to a table and saw a girl in a dirty blonde ponytail, a journal with very neat handwriting beside her, it had a name: Grace Mint, so Sav sat at the chair beside her and noticed Grace had a giant book about Charms. “Ummm Grace” said Sav awkwardly, she bit her lip hard, but then let go of it, it was bleeding but Sav didn’t notice, Savannah sighed “Listen, I’m really sorry about reading yer letter, it was really wrong of me and I hope ye can forgive me” she looked at the Ravenclaw, she didn’t change her face or look at Annah, “How do I talk to a girl who won’t even listen!?” Sav though, annoyed. But then Grace turned her head and saw Annah, her eyes widened and Annah said again “Grace, I’m sorry about reading yer letter, it was wrong of me and I hope ye can forgive me”

Grace looked at the bushy haired Slytherin, she just apologized to her about reading the letter, but Grace wasn’t mad about it at all, so she smiled and said “It’s fine Savannah” she brushed the strands of hair out of her face, and took her ponytail out, putting the hair tie on her wrist. Grace noticed Savannah’s lip was bleeding, it was trailing down her chin onto her neck, Grace’s eyes widened “Your lip is bleeding!” she grabbed a tissue and dabbed it on Savannah’s lip, making the blood stop coming out of her lip, Grace blushed and took the tissue off, “So, I guess you bite your lip a lot?” Grace asked, getting out of her seat to put the book away, “Wait here” and walked away, she put the book in the Charms section and walked back to her seat, she smiled at Savannah. After a long silence Grace said, “Well, this is awkward” and tried not to smile, but she did and started laughing about the awkward silence, she laughed so hard tears came out of her eyes, Grace finally stopped, wiped her eyes, and smiled at Savannah “Sorry about that, it was just really awkward, y’know?” then Grace thought for a moment about something, she smiled wider at Savannah and said “Want to be friends?”

@Grace MintSavannah looked at Grace, she said Annah’s lip was bleeding, but Grace dabbed it with a tissue and then blushed, Sav smiled “Erm, thanks Grace” and began to bite her lip again, but stopped, not wanting to bleed again. Grace then left to put her book away, Sav waited, twirling her already curly brown hair around her finger, Grace then returned, which made a long awkward silence, but Grace broke it by cracking up, Savannah joined in, they both then looked up at each other, tears in there eyes, Grace then smiled really wide and said “Want to be friends?” Savannah’s eyes widened, seriously!? Grace would be her first friend, she sighed and thought of the possibility’s if she said yes, there could be fun sleepovers over the summer, friendship bracelets, there was too much, Savannah looked at Grace, she was quite pretty, so Annah looked at her and said “Let me just think for a second” she smiled, her old friends had abandoned her once they found out Sav was going to a different school, Annah played with her earring and then her locket, opening it, the photo of Sav and her friends, she took it out, mad at them for abandoning. Savannah reached her hand out, nodded, and said “Friends”
