It was past curfew, but Astrid didn't care as she explored Hogwarts. She loved the thrill of sneaking out, loved the thrill that there was a chance she could be caught, and just loved wandering in the dark in general, because it was fun. She came upon a bathroom, that looked abandoned. She carefully pushed open the door and slipped inside. She looked around in wonder. Sure, it was dirty, the mirrors were grimy and the floor tiles were caked with dirt, the ceiling had stains on it, and the stall doors were crooked, some were even taken off completely, and she doubted the sinks even worked, they were super rusty. She stepped around a puddle of mud and looked around some more. There were candles casting creepy shadows around the room. Cool. Astrid thought to herself as she slowly spun in a circle, there wasn't anything dangerous in here as far as she could see, plus it was abandoned, so it would be perfect for her. She carefully wiped some grim off of the mirror with the sleeve of her jacket, she saw herself staring back at her, long silky red hair, sun tanned skin, freckles nose and cheeks, one gold eye and one blue eye. Slightly blurry, but she could see herself nonetheless. She unconsciously started humming to herself as she tapped her foot to the beat in her head, she thought for a moment? Should she sing? No one could hear her, plus people did say she had a good singing voice... right? She tapped her finger on one of the grimy sinks as she nodded her head to herself. Yeah, she didn't give a piece of crap what anyone thought anymore, but if they thought she had a good singing voice, then maybe she should sing some more...

New Friends and Feelings
Elowin was bored. She snuck around the castle all the time day or night and wasn’t expecting as she went to one of her night time haunts, the abandoned toilets to hear singing. She dodnt know what they were saying but their voice was, well, Elowin didn’t know how to say it but, perfect.
She walked up to the abandoned lavatory not paying attention to the words of the song the girl was singing. She was mesmerising by that voice. Then she saw the girl. She had a beautiful amount of red hair, punk but cute clothing, her eyes were different colours (gold and blue),and she looked like she had that I don’t give a damn attitude about her. For some reason Elowins heart rushed and beated a little harder and faster. Do I like, as in like like this girl Elowin said to herself. How can I have a crush on her when I don’t even know her name! But Elowin knew it inside her that for some absolutely random reason she had a crush on this girl. Well I don’t even know her ding dang name but now might be the time to find out. Elowin took a big breath and walked up to the girl and tapped her on the shoulder. “Hey” she said.

Astrid nearly jumped out of her skin at the voice, was it a teacher? Did she have to run? Make excuses? She was a fast talker and thinker, right? She whirled around to face the source of the voice, red hair getting in her face as she shook it out, and noticed it was another girl, maybe around the same age, with purple hair, unicorn horn mask and necklace with blue eyes. Her different colored eyes widened, then her shoulders drooped in relief
"Phew, you scared the crap out of me, y'know that?" Astrid muttered, finishing shaking her hair from her face, revealing her sun kissed skin and freckles nose and cheeks. "I thought you were a teacher, and I was gonna have to make up a real good excuse for being here past curfew. Anyway, what's your name?" she asked, tapping her beat up black converses on the floor in a pattern and mentally storing that pattern away in her head for later, maybe she could make a song with that. She shook the thought away after mentally storing away the beat in her head, smiling at the girl. The girl seemed nice, sweet, maybe she would be decent company for a while, before she would have to escape back to her dorm in fear of getting caught.

Can you tell me your name, though I can guess your a griffindor by the red! Elowin laughed then realised she might be annoying the girl by speaking so damn fast. Sorry you can talk now if you want, or maybe you don’t I dunno! Hi again! For some annnoying reason Elowins heart was still fluttering. Oh by the way love the hair! Suits you! Elowin was trying to act casual but inside her heart was drumming against her chest. Why on the whole damned earth did Elowin have a crush on this girl. suddenly she remembered the girls name hey! Astrid laughed, albeit awkwardly as she quickly tied her now slight messy red hair in a messy braid, which rested over her shoulder, her one gold and one blue eye surveying the room again before settling on Elowin.
"Well, nice to meet you, Elowin," Astrid said, her eyes surveying the girl up and down. "And thank you for the compliment, I never thought my singing voice was that great, I just do it for fun, y'know? Do you sing?" Astrid asked, taking her flannel off since it was a bit warm for her, revealing a white tank top underneath and multiple leather bracelets on her wrist, and a dragon necklace, as she tied the jacket around her waist. She adjusted her hair again before leaning against the sink to watch the purple haired girl, she wondered why she wore a unicorn mask thing, maybe she just really liked unicorns, Astrid didn't know, nor did she care. People are allowed to wear what they wear and not be judged for it, she never gave a piece of crap what she wore or what others thought of her outfit, Astrid snapped out of her thoughts, realizing she was glaring at the floor, she scratched the back of her neck and settled her gaze back Elowin, waiting for her to answer.
