Holiday Gift Hunt!

Time seemed to slow down when everyone got their own gift and actually enjoyed the hunt. Two eyes glancing around, watching everyone smile back at her, and back at each other. Maybe she did it, turning the normal, boring holiday into wonderful memories. Even though it was for herself to feel less lonely at first, but after the sound of laughter merged. The light of the Christmas souls ignited.
Little feet quickly took steps to her friend, sharing their cookies. She felt overwhelmed a bit inside her chest, but still managed to be in the group again. She also called Rose and Zephyr to join, but the boy was already apologizing to everyone. There was a slight disappointment in her heart, but she was glad he really liked that hoodie from her.
“Merry Christmas, Zeph.” She smiled and waved her hands, looking at his back faded away. It was like a sign for her to call everyone's attention last time, then she turned her face to the group again.
“Ahem… Hey… umm… ” Her genuine face expressed between a light hesitation and honesty. “I am really happy to know you guys and appreciate you playing with me,”
She lowered her chin a bit with a small tug of her lips. “Yeah, the one who put all the puzzles and presents in the tree was me. I hope you guys really like it. I did it to kill time at first, but I really enjoy spending time with you all.”
Skylar looked at the Christmas trees behind and pointed at them with her finger. “There are a few puzzles left, actually. You're welcome to play with it more if you’d like. I’ll probably wait here for other people to find until all presents had taken. It was the least kind thing I could do before everyone went home for the holidays.”
Skylar sat down with her kind smile still intact on her face, grabbed a cookie from Maira's gift, and crumpled it gently with her mouth.
“I hesitated between candy jar and cookie jar at first, but… this is actually good.” She let out a small laugh, talking with her friends a bit more before everyone said goodbye and went their separate ways.
“Merry Christmas, and I wish you a wonderful holiday!”

Holiday Gift Hunt!
Rose was content with her gift as Wes made a little fun of it saying it couldn't beat a rubber chicken. Well she was glad he liked his gift as she was liking hers. But she still laughed at his silliness.
The atmosphere was really agreeable and she was happy to be with her friends and to have met new people as well thanks to this gift hunt. Maira offered cookies to everyone from the jar she found turning out it was her gift. That too was a nice gift. Fast gone but a good one.
Time had spent so fast that Rose didn't know what time it was and where her brother was and if he were actually waiting for her. She looked around when Zephyr apologized before leaving not to miss his train.
"Have nice winter break Zephyr!" Rose said as he was leaving.
If Rose too did not want to miss her train she shouldn't overstay too long.
However Skylar cleared her voice for everyone to look at her and listen to her as she thanked them to have played with her. She was the one who had hidden the puzzles and gifts. Rose smiled at her friend as it was an amazing idea and really well done. Once more time Rose thought her friend was indeed wonderful.
"Thank you Skylar! That was actually a great idea and I had a lot of fun thanks to you." Rose told her friend before going to hug her.
"I will send you a letter during the holiday. I hope you will still have nice holiday here!" Rose said as she parted from the hug.
Rose then turned to Maira and Wes.
"Thank you for the great time and Maira it was a pleasure to meet you!" she told them with a smile.
She was going to leave as her brother, Ewan, appeared at the entrance of the Great Hall when she turned around to Wes whispering to him.
"I heard you were staying for the holidays. Please take care of Skylar!" she smiled, "Have nice holiday and I wish you all a Merry Christmas!" she finally added waving her hand to them as she headed towards her brother who was waiting for her.
