let's dance
A flash of light left Percival's wand, slamming into the mannequin and leaving a small mark behind. The Mannequin wobbled in place, seeming rather disappointed it couldn't fight back. Considering how many times it had nearly decapitated Draven, he wasn't all that empathetic toward it.
"Lets goo!" Draven exclaimed, a grin stretching across his features. "First try. You've got a knack for this, kid." Something warm had blossomed in Draven's chest, light and fluffy, and oddly- proud?
Yeah, Draven supposed he'd be seeing Percival on the duelling team before long. To get flippendo before he'd learned a majority of the prerequisite spells was- impressive at the very least.
"As you get older, spells will come easier," Draven said. "It's important to know your own strength; otherwise, you'll hurt someone. Or yourself. I'd practice with the dummy for a fair bit before trying it out on a person."
Sparing a quick glance in Percival's direction, Draven took in the boy's clever eyes and eager smile. The successful spell had loosened something in the kid- he was glowing with pride, goofy and excited.
"Nah, you'll send the other first years flying, just you wait," Draven grinned. "Tell me when you've got your first duel, yeah?"
