Valrien
Fiona was back in Herbology and this time was working with Valrien. They were going to harvest some roots to use for the Potions class. According to the professor and their text book their were multiple uses for the root. Treckle fudge was one. She had some of the fudge just the other night for dessert after her meal in the great hall. It was delicious. Potions was something else it could be used in. Draught of Peace was one such potion. So was draught of the living dead.
The root was native to parts of Europe and also to parts of southern Asia. She noticed the flowers were really beautiful to look at. They were a cross of pink and white and very little. They almost looked like cherry blossom to her untrained eyes. She even read in her textbook that it could be used in muggle teas to help with sleep. She also read it was similar to cat nip. She made a mental note to ask her professor for a clipping to take home to see if that was true with her barn cats. At that moment was was watering the herb and using a spray to prevent pests. She hoped they grew wonderfully.
