The cheering didn't last long, as the other team scored fifty more points, and Greta, Semyon and Madhup were hit by a bludger. Astrid hissed. That was not good. She hopes the three of them are okay, bludgers hit hard. Nonetheless, she cheered for their (un)benched chaser "Go Felix!" as he flew towards the other players, replacing his girlfriend.

Durmstrang were merciless. Between Botan and herself, attemping to snitch block the stupid seeker from attempting to grab the snitch seemed like a good idea. Nope. He'd dodged them, continuing to go for the little gold ball like his life depended on it. And maybe it did. Three of his team-mates had just gone down, and Miharu had scored five unanswered goals. The unfortunate thing was, goals didn't mean anything if the other team could still grab the snitch. Agata sighed. She'd just have to do better next round.

Such aggression from the opponent team was not unexpected, but as players began to fall all around him, Valentin winced. Everything seemed to be going in slow motion compared to before. Although he so quickly located the snitch, it felt like time was distending during the chase. If this to be the last match for so many on this team, he needed to show the new generation his best as well as fight for victory for his old guard.

She didn't do much now.

Sure, she contributed a bit to 2 people going down by making them share a broom in the first place but that wasn't much. Kanae cheered a bit for her upperclassman (@Sara Kohana) and underclassman (@Jamie Carville) after they got 3 people out in 1 round.

Kohana-senpai had given her a birthday cake during the time before the camp, she hadn't gotten the opportunity to thank them yet though. She hasn't interacted with Carville-san much aside from a little meeting a year back when they were still in their old school.

Doing penalty laps wasn't the most entertaining thing she could do (should've though about that before blatching someone). But it was entertaining seeing their seeker (@Miharu Goto) score some free points on the quaffle.

Some of her pre-game anxiety died down as she saw her team play and somehow still alive. Kanae huffed. She was thankful for this amazing team. Perhaps she should interact with them more out of the pitch...

It's still there, she could still see it, the snitch. It hasn't left her sight surprisingly enough. A little detour wouldn't hurt as long as she keeps her eyes on it. The quaffle was looking very free for the taking. At least that one she doesn't have anyone to contest with. Easy points. She can't say the same for the snitch though. The opposing Seeker was still looking intimidating for her. His figure was… getting closer and closer and-

Oh… oh no.

She had to be quick. She doubts he was going for her to have a chat or give advice. No one would be flying close to someone without any ill intent, especially when it's your opponent. Before she could give the opposing Seeker the chance to do whatever he was thinking, she quickly moved away, building distance as much as possible as if he was some lunatic. Her quick reflexes saved her and even allowed her to grab the quaffle and even got a few goals in because really, why not. It was free to do so.

With the points rising consistently in Mahoutokoro-Castelobruxo favor, both teams take the time to send players forward to try to either maintain or close the growing gap. And close the gap they do! Amina, back from her leisurely lap around the field, puts her foot on the proverbial gas and locks in on her one and only goal: quaffle, meet hoop. Miharu does her best to keep up, but the older chaser gives no quarter as horn after horn announces each goal.

With the shouting of the crowd and both respective benches ringing out across the stadium and the chaos of the match, Arno and Valentin gravitate towards each other to execute what seems to be a perfectly practiced Alley Oop. The momentum and the angle are well calculated, sending the seeker rocketing in the direction of the snitch and giving the ball no chance of escape.

The apparent turn in favor towards the combined efforts of Durmstrang-Koldovstoretz extends even further as another team up between Sara and Jaime, looking for a repeat connection, strike Arno from his broom just as he sends Valentin on his way. The bludger seems to attempt to give chase to the opposing seeker once it bounces from the debroomed chaser, but Valentin expertly diverts just out of the way for it to instead strike Kanae square on. Sara and Jaime can do naught but watch as their bludger sends their teammate plummeting after the skillful maneuver.

Boram keeps up the pressure from the Durmstrang-Koldovstoretz side with another swipe of her bat at the 2nd bludger. It's path is redirected towards Miharu as she continues to try and wrestle for the quaffle. Focused as she is on her given task, she only spots the incoming rocket of a ball with no time left to spare. The impact is enough to send her toppling over the side of her broom. Kanae, having been keeping a watchful eye out for others but not herself, is in no position to help as they both plummet. Felix darts forward at the first sign of trouble, swooping and grabbing hold of Arno before the chaser can hit the ground.

Her heart was on fire. Riding her wave of passion and anger, Amina shut down the pitch to face off the chaser of the other team who had scored multiple points so far without facing any severe consequences. ”You’re on, bitch!” Passionate as she was, she didn’t even switch to English for her aggressive opening to a verbal conversation. Their string of easy points would end now! If they kept scoring, Durmstrang would lose, even if Valentin caught the snitch and Amina would do everything in her power to not let this happen. The girl - or more so the maniace - gripped her broomstick so tightly her knuckles went white.
She had noticed Arno and Valentin teaming up so the end of the game could only be seconds away and if she already was deprived fighting alongside Mad and Greta, she would do her best to give the other team nightmares for the rest of the year.
Completely thriving in her rage mode, the redhead went for the quaffle, head first, willing to just knock the fair girl from the other team off her broom if necessary. Miharu was fast, but Amina was faster.
Securing the quaffle, Amina was off to the goal posts, reaching out and detonating it through one of the rings. Grim satisfaction flushed through her as she watched her perfect execution. ”THIS WAS FOR GRETA!” Her face was almost as red as her hair as she returned to her face off position, yelling revenge from the top of her lungs.
Amina was running hot and there was no stopping her. Pure aggression and deadly precision were guiding her hand, a combination she had mastered over the past years and now she was finally reaping the reward. Once more she snatched the quaffle away, easily throwing it through the ring with no one being able to stop her. She spun around, glaring grimly at every opponent she could spot. ”AND THIS WAS FOR MAD!”
The next few grabs and points were almost as automated. Her vision was blurry with anger and passion, every fiber of her body aching to leave her last game with a bang.
When she suddenly heard the whistle that ended the game she had scored 80 points for her team. She had been so locked in that she had some catching up to do - what happened? Her heart was bounding in her throat as she spun around on her broom, looking for the seekers, trying to see who made the catch. And then her green eyes located Valentin, the white seeker, their niffler, having his precious golden snitch securely in his hand.

It took a second for Amina to realize that they had won. But when the feeling sank in, the anger was washed away. Leaving the quaffle behind, the Durmstang girl went into a chewing loop before shooting towards Valentin, just letting go of her broom and trying to wrap her arms around him mid-flight, risking for them both to just fall off their brooms. ”You did it!” She grabbed his shoulders so tightly that it almost must have hurt, shaking him while still flying next to him at full speed. There was no way she could express this overwhelming mixture of feelings. Still burning passion and anger, joy and pride for their victory and incredible sadness that this had been their last rodeo. Tears in her eyes that could also come from the speed wind, she looked at him, knowing that he understood.

Then, she let him go, glancing back at her chaser team on the ground that most likely would be taken care of now by concerned partners and the medis - she would return to that in a moment. First, she had to honor her bet.

Scanning the crowd she noticed her jersey number, a glittering 14 and a cheeky smile curled her lips and made her sentimental tears stop. Time for payout. Dee was right on schedule.
Reaching into her pocket, she flew over to the ranks, doing a small stunt loop right over the spot where she now also spotted the brunette, appropriately dressed with the shiny red tophat. Her shoutout was supposed to be memorable and Dee as well as everyone around her would remember this for a while - voluntarily or not.
”And the prize for the best Durmstrang mascot - best dressed, incredibly funny and very dangerous with her wand - goes to Dealla prince! Congrats!” And with that she pulled out a big bag of red glitter and opened it right over Dee’s head, showering her and everyone in the stands in a cloud of glitter. They would have something of that for a while.
