A Letter to Mam and Dad Errand

Mam and Dad,
Merry Christmas! School has been pretty alright. I'm sorry I haven't written more. How is Ash doing?

Oh! And happy birthday, Dad! You'll have to let me know how it went. Did you like the card I sent? I made it myself, not even using magic! I drew you a pretty cool dragon, I think. Hopefully you like dragons. I also drew a mooncalf. I see them every night on the mural in my dorm so I just watched one and copied it down.

Mam, you should send a Christmas cake. I'll share it with Poppy at the Hufflepuff table. No promises for Basil and Violet though, and Marigold doesn't even like it. Ivy will be fine. If you make us pajamas for Christmas this year, can it have reindeer on it? I like reindeer. No worries if you've already made them, though. Or maybe just sew a reindeer onto mine.

Do you think Ash is old enough to learn Wizard's Chess? Are we just getting Muggle gifts for Christmas or are we going to get magic ones, too? I would love a Wizard's Chess set. Talking to you, Dad! I think you should get Ash a toy broom. Some of the kids here have mentioned having one when they were little. We can go out to the countryside! Maybe you can get me a broom for Christmas. First years technically aren't allowed them, but we can keep it at home and I can ride it on breaks. I love flying class so far, and I'm getting used to the heights.
