Afternoon.

Axyen was excited to see what would happen this duel, he noted that Vladislav was aiming their wand at their own teammate: Siobhan. Huh..? Is that a poorly aimed spell or something? Axyen wondered to himself, preparing to commentate on it—it was at that moment where he heard the incantation that served as an 'a-ha' moment for him. "Oooh! Vladislav healed Siobhan! Looks like Gryffindor is going to end up in better shape!" Axyen commentated, not realizing how wrong he was about to be.

Axyen's attention turned to Sere who was apparently about to cast the Cracker Jinx, Axyen looked to see who it was aiming at before choosing to speak. "Ah, Mylo better prepare for— WOAH!!!!" Axyen was cut off by the sound of explosions, something must've went very wrong because Sere was hit by their own spell, the radius of it slamming outwards towards their teammates. Luckily for the Gryffindors, Sere's aim seemed to be as off as their spell casting at that moment, as Vladislav and Siobhan were able to easily dodge. "Uh oh, that was... actually pretty bad—Sere is still standing though everybody!" Axyen announced was he was able to confirm that Sere was still conscious.

Siobhan was the next and final Gryffindor to take aim at the Ravenclaw team this round, it looked like they were going to cast the tongue-tying spell at Edward. The spell landed and unfortunately for Edward, they would find themselves unable to speak; however, not before attempting to cast the Aqua Eructo spell, the water was aimed at Vladislav, but it seemed as if Vladislav was just too agile for the Ravenclaw. "Luckily for Vladislav, they dodged the water—that would've hurt!" Axyen 'helpfully' informed the audience. "As for Edward..." Axyen briefly paused. "I don't know how long it's going to be before they are able to speak again, but it's not looking too good!" Axyen informed the audience that may not know what just happened there—luckily, Axyen did.

Jessamine was next up to try and cast a spell: aimed at Siobhan which Axyen noted Siobhan to be a fairly consistent target so far, at least one person seemed to aim at that Gryffindor. Hm... Axyen thought for a few as Jessamine's spell was unable to land a hit against Siobhan. Finally, Mylo was aiming Ventus at Siobhan as well—which at that point, Axyen finally remembered he was supposed to be commentating and not internally playing 'guess'.

"Oh—" Axyen took a second to get himself together before speaking. "Mylo is aiming the Wind Jinx at Siobhan and..." Axyen watched briefly as Siobhan did an excellent dodge—maybe even a perfect dodge, it was certainly impressive. "Woah, that was a really good dodge!" Axyen exclaimed, thinking for a few seconds.

"Well, it looks like things are picking up again!" Axyen said happily. "And it'll get more intense from here!" Axyen added, preparing to see what would happen within the next few moments of the duel. Please, please don't have me labeled as a liar... Axyen thought to himself as he prepared to see the next wave of spells go FLYING!

At least they weren't on fire anymore, the flames having died out on their own leaving Mylo pleased that it hadn't lasted too long. This round however was more effective than the previous one, at least in the sense that spells actually managed to be produced instead of them just standing there.

Once again their spell had been dodged, and it seemed like Siobhan was looking better after a healing spell. Edward had been hit with mimblewimble which would certainly be a challenge and Sere had hit herself with her own cracker jinx, Mylo knew that having a spell backfire on you hurt more than if you had just been hit with it.

At least this wouldn't be a boring duel and there was no telling yet who would come out on top.

Rule of Three. A TV station had once invited a comedian to be a guest star on their prime-time talkshow, and Sere had accidentally heard this term while passing through the living room to get herself a glass of water in the kitchen; years ago before she entered Hogwarts.

Basically, two things are said to build up the audience's expectations and then the third comes afterward to break them. Comedians use this structure to craft and tell a interesting narration. Ordinary - ordinary - absurd is the format. In Sere's case now, however, the third one that supposed to 'break the expectation' was far too absurd. Too shocking, not in the way she intended.

"Gosh!"

She had studied the Cracker Jinx well, preparing herself to try this spell in her first duel as a third-year student. But what happened after she cast this spell? The spell failed and blasted back on her... and not just on herself...

"Watch out!"

The Gryffindor shivered as she realized the effects of the Cracker Jinx's failure had also gone against her teammates. Thank God they both managed to evade the radius damage. Sere let out a tired sigh. Everything about the rule of three should have ended here, right now, in this round.

Afternoon.

Well, at least Axyen wasn't going to be labeled a liar for this, for—at least in his opinion—the duel was actually going quite well in terms of pacing and action, surely everyone was as entertained as Axyen was at the moment. After all, it was hard to determine who was going to win but Axyen was quite literally at the edge of his seat, or on his tip-toes? Either way, the duel was going fantastic, at least if you asked Axyen.

First, all of the Gryffindors turned their wands onto Mylo—ah, that is going to suck—luckily for Mylo, Siobhan apparently spaced out or something as the Gryffindor didn't cast anything at all, and Sere just so happened to miss their shot; unfortunately for the Ravenclaw, that wouldn't stop Vladislav's Flipendo which soared into Mylo. Axyen just knew that must've hurt. However, it was something to commentate on and that was the exact thing that Axyen needed at that moment to continue spicing up the duel for the audience who were hopefully having as much fun watching this duel as Axyen was. "And Mylo got hit! It seems like Gryffindor had a plan to take Mylo out; however, they are still standing—truly impressive!" Axyen commentated, honestly, if you asked him, he thought it was actually over for Mylo.

There was the issue of taking the knocked out opponents to the Hospital Wing of Hogwarts, but Axyen would be able to manage with that—at least, he hoped so—this was his first time moderating a duel and with that, came a certain level of uncertainty, but he would just have to trust himself on that matter. Axyen looked over to Edward who seemed to be especially agile and ready to dodge any incoming attacks, but luckily for him, he wasn't even targeted to begin with—not much to say there, really. Jessamine on the other hand was ready to go on the offensive, against Siobhan and it was actually shockingly close!

"Ah, close, but not quite. Siobhan is able to dodge!" Axyen said, it was a close call but either Jessamine's aim was a bit messed up or Siobhan would find themselves able to move out of the way of the attack in time. The next thing Axyen noted was Mylo's incantation, the infamous cracker jinx strikes again! "Here comes the fireworks! (Perhaps literally)" Axyen watched the explosion initially aimed at Siobhan missed, the explosives reaching for the Gryffindor's teammates but they all seemed to be able to get themselves to safety.

"Hmm, looks like nobody got hurt from that—at least from what I am seeing." Axyen said, it was of course hard to see when Axyen himself didn't want to end up caught in that shockingly wide range—he really was hoping nobody saw his flinching from time-to-time. Still, when he looked back, all of the Gryffindor's appeared fine, at the very least, in their original condition and so he made his conclusion off of that. "Let's see what happens next!"

And so, the next storm of spells would flood onto the stage—again...

Well this wasn't great.

How many times in a row had this been that their spell hadn't found it's target? At least he was managing to get the spells to leave their wand, that would have been even worse if they hadn't managed to do that several times in a row.

It seemed like Vlad was getting back at him for the flipendo's they had been aiming at his teammate though as one struck them right in the chest, causing him to stumble back slightly before regaining their stance. Mylo knew that another hit like that would be bad, and that he likely wouldn't be getting up again.

But there was nothing to do but continue on, practice makes perfect after all.

Siobhan blinked as spells once again whizzed by her face and she narrowly avoided yet another round of nasty horrible side affects. Goodness what was with her! She needed to focus if she wanted to maintain her spot on the team. It was one thing to let the blind student duel and it was another to just keep her on the team out of pity. Siobhan had to prove her worth.

The spells had barely missed her but she had instinctively side stepped them one again to avoid being taken out by the other team. It seemed that they were going to continuously go after her because of her disability and she almost felt a scowl cross her face. Though she would remain cordial as long as her opponents did so as well. But honestly. She had two other teammates, why not take a crack at them at least once you know?

Give her thirty second to BREATHE.
