Errand In the Mood for Gardening PV Reid

Ala grinned at the other boy's comment about the first years, not able to contain a straight face at that. "Y-yeah, I guess it is better to hurry up then!", he muttered with a smile on his face still. Alan did not get the insider of course, but he did get the joke and liked that Reid was one to make jokes. It lightened the mood a little and Alan felt more content with how the interaction was going.

"I am really hungry too... all the thinking about herbs this morning had made me tired!", he said with a sigh as he glanced at the herb beds on the ground, before shaking his head slightly. "L-let's go then...", he decided to just follow the taller student. Reid was a lot taller and older looking, even though they were in the same year, which may look amusing. Alan has been mistaken for a second year before, so this may just make it appear even more like he was younger than he was.

As they walked towards the castle, Alan and Reid stopped by a restroom to clean their hands off the soil and dirt that clung to their fingers after gardening for a while for the herbology professor. It was a nice feeling to having done something productive in the early morning; made him feel like the day could only be a success.
