It kind of flips between these bits of really well-written, natural dialogue and then the stupidest thing you've ever heard in your life. So the basic plotline is that this mecha vigilante superhero who has been passing on his family legacy by continuing to fight crime finally loses the key power-source for his suit and is rendered basically powerless. He promptly gets invited to go undercover in an office job as a dispatcher, which just means that he chooses which superheroes to send on what missions and all that. In turn, the superhero association thing will help him reconstruct his suit so that he can eventually resume fighting crime. But he ends up getting a team full of reformed villains and has to figure out how to shape them up.
