It was starting to get a bit chilly and Karime has been doing better in her classes. After getting help with potions from Caspian. She has felt so much better and less stressed about it. She was just in the courtyard between her classes like always writing in her journal. She used to only write in it when she was stressed, feeling down and needed to vent. But now she was writing pretty much every single day to journal her journeys at Hogwarts as she wanted to have something to look back to for next year and eventually when she graduates. She wanted to be able to remember all the adventures, friends and people she meets while attending here.
Karime was excited to go back home for thanksgiving as her family does celebrate it. It may be an American holiday but her family celebrates it none the less. But she also feels her parents were very pushy about it because they miss her but don't want to accept it which she always finds funny how protective they are of her but also want her to grow and become her own person. Karime looked around as she saw others talking to their friends and just chilling. She continue to write in her journal but also doddle a bit before she last class of the day

Maddy wasnt looking for quiet, she was looking for peace. That was usually quite odd for her and her brothers had already told her that many times. She was a girl born in a cyclone of drama, trouble and mischief. None of that included peace and quiet.
But since then many things had changed. She was still grumbling about what she did and didnt do right when she spotted a ravenclaw sitting alone near "the" spot.
Maddy jogged over to her peeking over her shoulder, "Hi!"
"Didnt mean to scare you, just saw you and thought to join......If you mind, I can leave?"
Maddy hoped the girl didnt mind, maybe she needed a distraction after all.
She looked over at what the girl was doing, leaning back on her hands she said, "Do you write often? And does it helps? You know, writing everything down."
She asked that as she was curious but another part of her knew that the real reason she asked that was maybe because she thought if she would have wrote every thing down, maybe she could have captured the moment in one place forever. Seemingly never to leave.

Karime looks at the girl as she remembers seeing the girl in some of her classes and knows she is a first year student just like her. Karime thinks about it as no one has ever asked about her journal and she gets possessive and hidden about her because her journal is just a fumble of thoughts as it is a journal but also like a diary for her too. But she gets the confidence and just says “ Um I almost write at least two times a day but also when I want to remember stuff I just journal about it” Karime smiles softly as she looks to the HufflePuff girl and continues speaking “ It does actually very much to write everything down because it's hard for me to voice out what I'm thinking and my brother is the only one who has read it. I just wanted him to know and trusted him with knowing what was in my mind”. Karime frowns slightly for a bit but then clears her throat as she smirks/grins softly “Sorry went on a little rant”. Karime chuckles nervously as she finishes writing and closes her journal.
Karime looks at her and introduces herself “My name is Karime by the way and I'm a first year student just like you. How are you liking Hogwarts and do you come to this spot a lot too?”
