Maddy and Lily were crouched down as they awaited their target.
Yes, a prank was about to be set off, Maddy was doing it-finally!
Her brothers had been wondering how it had taken her so long for this. Well, she needed a partner for this and well lets just say, her roommate agreed.
Actually, Maddy had begged Lily to come with and she did agreed after listing the pros and cons but hey! here they are now. About to show everyone their first on many.
The castle was quiet as most students were still in their classes, Maddy and Lily had managed to be the first to submit their assignments and leave the class. Maddy’s heart raced with excitement as she peeked around the corner.
She and Lily had been plotting this for days, whispering in the common room, imagining how perfect the prank would be. Every little detail mattered and now, it was finally time.
"Ugh, where is Louis, many first years are coming out, where are the seniors?"
Yes, she was pranking her brother, the very one who had been curious about her late prank.
He will see it was worth the wait.
"WAit- Lils! Look he's there." Maddy pulled out her wand excitedly, whispering "Tarantallegra!!"
She had expected it to go to Louis and make him dance right there, embarrassing him in the corridors when and where everyone can watch and have a laugh.....but, yes of course there is a but.
Louis managed to dodge as the spell hit three other people 2 ravenclaws and 1 gryffindor, getting out from the same class as they started dancing.
"Shit! Lils what do we do?" Maddy panicked looking at Louis, he grinned at her and then casted the reverse spell to the innocent victims of Maddy's prank.
Maddy glared at him as she went to them all, "Sorry guys, I was planning on targeting this-" she glared at Louis, "this jerk over here, it was not meant for you. Are you all ok?" Louis ruffled her hair, greeted all of the kids and left them to their er....situation.
ACTION: casting Tarantallegra,

It's been a pretty quiet day for Azrael, nothing important or exciting has happened so far....well, not that he's done anything to have fun yet anyway.
It's been a pretty quiet day for Azrael, nothing important or exciting has happened so far....well, not that he's done anything to have fun yet anyway.
But still, it's been (thankfully) peaceful for now...he's just heading out of class, holding his books on one hand, and preparing to open his umbrella with the other ..it's a sunny day outside, the sunlight is blasting through the windows- he's not keen of the sun, he hates how it burns on his skin and how it makes people sweat ...so he carries his umbrella around to try and shield himself as much as possible.
As he shifted the books in his arm- a sudden flash startled him, accompanied by getting hit directly by someone's spell-
He dropped both of his books, and almost wacked someone in the head with his umbrella when trying to regain his balance- he's usually not surprised by much, but this definitely caught him off guard... before he could even process what had happened, the counter spell was cast and all he could do was blink as he slowly turned to look in the direction where all the chaos came from.
He's sitting on the floor, his Big, owl like eyes staring directly in front of him- where two girls his age (and a senior) stood, and to his right? Two ravenclaws who had also been hit with said spell... really, what even IS he doing on the floor still? He hadn't even realized he had started dancing for a few seconds before the counter spell hit-
He's always been "eerie" looking, although he doesn't seem bothered by what just happened- his face is almost as blank as it was when he came out of the classroom...with the exception of his pupils suddenly getting smaller...which doesn't help with the eerie look of his face- the sun is now directly hitting his side, which is making his pale skin burn slightly-
He's always preferred to stay inside, so his skin isn't used to strong sunlight- and it obviously burns when it hits him...like right now.
He huffed, picking up his books as he started getting up from where he had fallen-
"...are you guys alright?"
He asked, turning to look at the 2 people beside him- the ones who had also been hit with the spell, his voice was monotone and calm like always, it rarely ever changes tone- if at all.

Lily crept down the hallway, Maddy along her side. She was trying to be especially quite; she could be quite clumsy at times, especially when she was nervous.
"Shhhh, don't make a sound, this will be our first prank, I want it to be perfect.", Lily heard Maddy said. She couldn't really blame Maddy in this case; this was their first prank and it had to go well.
Lily hadn't really wanted to be a part of the prank, but since Maddy was her room mate, she had practically begged her to be a part of it. After much bribing and many more compromises, Lily had finally agreed.
They had planned this for days now, plotting this whenever they had time. From whispering in the common room, they had finally completed the plan.
They would use the Dancing Feet Charm on Louis, Maddy's elder brother. They had planned to use it on him when he was in the corridors, so that the people could laugh on him. Maddy had especially wanted to do this when he was with his friends, so as to embarrass him.

Lily watched excitedly, eager to watch Maddy's brother start dancing. Instead, she saw him dodge the spell, grinning at Maddy. She watched in horror, as the spell hit three innocent by-standers, one Gryffindor and two Ravenclaws.
"Shit! Lils what do we do?" Maddy panicked looking at Louis. Lily chuckled; she knew something like this would happen.
Lily and Maddy went towards the people who got hit by the spell. By now, they had stopped dancing, thanks to Louis.

Pranks & Awkward Firsts
It was a calm day for Karime. She had sent an owl to her brother this morning talking about her classes and how she is enjoying being at Hogwarts. She couldn't wait for thanksgiving as she was focused on her class. The class finally finished and Karime was packing her books up. She was writing in her journal as she walked alongside some students. One being Leo who she has seen around the Ravenclaw common room and in a few of her classes as he was a 1st year Ravenclaw too.

Karime headed out with her books as she was planning to head to the astronomy tower or the great lake to sit in nature and draw or write in her journal. But as she stepped outside she saw a gryffindor boy in front of her who looked to her to be in the same year as her. Karime then felt like she had been hit by a bolt of electricity. She almost got hit on the head by the umbrella the Gryfindoor boy in front of her was holding but luckily it didn't
She felt herself start dancing as she recognized the spell as the tarantallegra spell which she loves to use to dance but having the spell on her without her will and wanting felt weird and surprising as she couldn't control her body and this caused her to drop her books and her journal. But then she felt her body stop as a counter spell was casted by a senior
She looked up as she saw two girls around her age and looked to her left as she saw the Gryffindor boy on the floor like her. She looks to Leo who is behind her as he is confused too and snapping out of the spell that was casted on us. Karime looks at her books and as she reaches for them. She hears the Gryffindor boy ask her and Leo if we were okay. Karime nods her head to say that she is okay at least as she hears Madeline ask her then if she was okay.
Karime gets off the floor with her books and reaches her hand out to Leo to help him up once he is okay to stand up as Karime does feel a bit dazed and slightly out of it from the spell and counter spell being casted on her in such a short amount of time.

Another long day of classes was finally over. At this point, Leo was beginning to count the days until the winter break, even though it was a while away yet. With the last class before their free period done, Leo let out a relieved sigh as he went to pack up his things before walking out with the other students into the corridors. He didn’t have anything special planned for the evening so he figured he would go back to the dorm and play with Persephone while studying a little before dinner time.
Leo hurried along in a group of students through the corridors, keeping his head down as he held onto his book tightly when suddenly his legs began feeling weird. He looked down and saw them moving on their own and he could feel himself losing balance as he struggled to control them. ‘What is going on?’ He thought to himself and realized some others around him had the same effects happening to them. ‘The Dancing Feet spell..’ One of the first spells they learned in charms class at the beginning of the year and not something he had ever expected to experience like this. His book dropped out of his hands and he landed on the floor as someone casted the reverse spell.
The Ravenclaw girl beside him reached out her hand to help him up and he gladly took it, getting back on his feet while his legs still felt a little shaky. The other boy beside them who had been hit asked them if they were alright. Leo nodded and picked up his book, “Yeah, I’m okay now, are you?” As the three of them were getting back to normal, two other girls walked over to them. As they got closer he recognized the one girl, Madeline. He rolled his eyes a little as he was almost not surprised that the prank came from her since she had a more playful personality. He nodded at the two girls that joined them, “I think everyone is okay now, it was just a bit of a shock.” He said and then turned his attention to Maddy, “You probably should avoid pranks in the busy corridor though from now on.” Leo chuckled softly as he playfully scolded the girl, brushing off his pants and robe to make sure there was no dust or dirt on it.

Of course this would happen.
Of course Louis would dodge.
Of course three completely innocent first-years would end up at the tip of her wand while he smirked at her like he’d won the bloody House Cup.
Maddy fixed her hair where Louis had ruffled it. Lily was still laughing—traitor—so Maddy nudged her lightly before turning back to the poor victims of her now-disastrous prank.
She faced the Gryffindor first, who looked like he was having a personal fight with the sun.
“Hi, erm.......” She rubbed the back of her neck nervously before blurting out in a rush, “I swear I didn’t aim for you, like I don’t even know you well enough to hex you on purpose, why would I even do that? It’s all Louis’s fault, I swear I will get back at him.”
She sucked in a breath and whispered, “sorry,” then turned to the Ravenclaws:
Oh wait.
Oh no.
That’s Leo.
Double shit.
“Uhhh… hi Leo.”
Of course she had to embarrass herself in front of someone she actually knew. She looked between them quickly.
“Well, same thing applies.......I wouldn’t, like… do this to you guys on purpose. I mean, I know you, Leo, but I still wouldn’t, oh God, what is wrong with me.”
She forced a grin.
“You guys okay? It was a harmless prank, right?”
Please don’t be mad. Please don’t be mad. Please don’t be mad—
Then Leo chuckled, “You probably should avoid pranks in the busy corridor from now on.”
Maddy’s jaw dropped dramatically.
“What—no—Leo, don’t be reasonable right now, I’m already suffering.”
She pressed a hand to her chest.
“Let me die dramatically on the floor in shame or something.”
“Anyway… I am really sorry,” she added more genuinely. “We’ll… uh… keep the chaos somewhere less crowded next time. Maybe.”
Lily snorted behind her. Maddy shot her a glare before immediately breaking into a grin.
“Okay, not maybe. Definitely not. But we’ll try.”
Because honestly?
Even with the disaster…
This was fun.
And Maddy was absolutely going to try again.

Lily could literally hear (well, not really) Maddy's thoughts. She was only too embarrassed to voice them aloud. Lily laughed a bit, making Maddy nudge and glare at her. Judging by the glare, Maddy knew that Lily knew what was going in her head, and Lily guessed that Maddy did not like that one bit.
She rubbed her stomach on the point where Maddy had hit her. Gods, how did she pack so much energy in herself?
“Hi, erm.......” Maddy rubbed the back of her neck nervously before blurting out in a rush, “I swear I didn’t aim for you, like I don’t even know you well enough to hex you on purpose, why would I even do that? It’s all Louis’s fault, I swear I will get back at him.”
Lily let loose a laugh, it was funny seeing Maddy being so tongue-tied in front of someone. She would use this moment at Maddy to tease her whenever she teased Lily. Oh, she was loving the drama...
She saw Maddy from the corner of her eye widening her eyes. What was happening now? And then she saw him. Leo. Maddy had told her that name before. Where had she heard it? Oh yes, they had a study session before. She remembered teasing Maddy about it (only for a few days though...)
Of course, that sounded so like Maddy. Of course, she would embarrass herself in front of somebody she knew....
“Anyway… I am really sorry,” Maddy said genuinely. “We’ll… uh… keep the chaos somewhere less crowded next time. Maybe.”
Lily snorted at this, she knew Maddy would do the opposite of whatever she said. She already knew that Maddy was going to prank someone again. And honestly, Lily would help her prank someone again.
"Anyways, guys. It is our fault, so we would want to give you all some treats.", Lily began. Maddy had almost protested against this but then considered herself. Lily bit back a smile. "How about we start with introductions. I am Lily Clarke. And this is my bestie, Maddy. What about you guys?"

_______________________§__________________ReducioAzrael is NOT a dhampir or a vampire, he's just weird, his skin is sensitive to the sun because he and his family are loners and prefer going out sometimes at night only because it usually means that not a lot of people are around, which has caused his skin to not get used to the sun properly and thus now it gets red and irritated when he's out during the day if he doesn't have any protection from the sun- yes, he's considered unsettling and eerie but it's not his aura, it's his eyes, they're big and owl like and he has a bad habit of accidentally spacing out and staring at people intently when they talk, so people consider him eerie, this was placed here to prevent misunderstandings.
Azrael didn't seem that bothered by what had just happened...well, he didn't seem like he was thinking about anything at all either- it seems like he really just doesn't care.
"...it's alright."
he said with a simple, small shrug- like always, his voice was calm and monotone, not even a hint of anything else- like he truly didn't care, it's like he's calm enough to not be bothered by absolutely anything at all.
"...If you want to really catch him to prank him, you should probably wait until he's distracted...not walking out of class to see you face first."
he was reffering to how Madeline's brother had seen her face first when he came out of his class-While he's calm, he's always been good at pranks- not that he'd ever given anyone any ...well, apart from his father that is- his mother used to prank people during her Hogwart years whenever they called her weird, she learned a lot from that- and while she did it so they'd leave her alone, she took that knowledge and passed it down to Azrael...just a harmless way to get people to leave you alone without getting in too much trouble.
He had practiced on his father many times and while he didn't exactly like pranks- he always put up with them for Azrael's sake, he'd never scold him or get irritated- so Azrael learned a LOT from the practice he got back home.
as he looked up, he realized that Madeline seemed almost embarrassed... One thing about Azrael is that he's dense, and if he thinks that something is not worth getting embarrassed for- then he'll be confused as to why you're embarrassed.
"...are you alright? It was not intentional."
he seemed to blink for the first time in several minutes as he said it, and then he stopped to think for a bit...

Leo chuckled as Maddy got even more flustered while trying to apologize to him and the others standing beside him. Watching her pretend to die dramatically was definitely something he had come to expect from her now. “No, no dying Maddy.” He shook his head, the dramatics of this girl was on another level but he found it amusing nonetheless. She was full of energy and was entertaining for sure during their potions class so it wasn’t a surprise to see she was out here pulling pranks around Hogwarts.
With the endless apologies finally over, Leo looked to the other girl who had come over with Maddy as she started introducing herself. Leo listened quietly as the others began introducing themselves as well before he finally spoke up. “Well, I know Maddy, but my name is Leo.” He said and offered the others a small smile, holding onto his books tightly. He had to make his way back to the dorm to check on Persephone and bring her to meet Rosaline so he looked past the group down the hall before turning back to them. “I actually have to be somewhere soon but we should meet up again sometime. It was nice to meet you all though.” He felt bad for cutting their time short but tried to be as polite as possible. He gave a small nod to Madeline and the others before making his way down the hall to get back to the dorm room.
