A walk a day drives the anxiety away. Finished

Breaking away, she let out a laugh that made him smile. His whole body was buzzing with joy, as he took his hand away from her waist. He had finally done it. They were comfortable, around each other, and that made Kayden happy. He didn't want prolonged awkwardness. They smiled at each other for a few short moments, then stepped out from the small, hidden space, and out into the open again.

"Should we go grab something to eat?" He asked, and although he was sad it was over, he was ready to get some food. He knew that the cooks made some most delightful food at Hogwarts. He wondered if he should tell Willow, as she was all he had as a friend. She would be Kayden to tell her all the details, not to leave out a thing, and the thought made him smile. Willow was an interesting character indeed. "So. Are we boyfriend and girlfriend now?" He would like that very much. Plus, after what just happened, there was really no going back. He knew they were 11, but he didn't care. Love was love, no matter the age. He grabbed Sages hand as they continued walking.

"I guess we are. You know when I first came to Hogwarts I was overwhelmed. I had learned that magic existed, that witches and wizards were real. What didn't expect were feelings such as this" she walked with him when he held her hand and led her to the castle. "I did all the reading I could on magic and spells and famous witches and wizards, the history of Hogwarts. I just didn't expect to meet some wonderful people like Willow or you. You know, if we work out the rest of our lives, I want to buy a huge bit of land and raise every sort of magical being on it. Kind of like Newt Scamander. I think that would be cool, do you have any idea what you wanna be when you're older?" She asked him and looked at him.

She wondered if he had any idea, and she bet she'd be fascinated by it. She was excited to hear what he wanted to be when he was older. "Maybe you should work on becoming the first wizard to go to the moon" she giggled softly at her suggestion as she continued to walk, holding his hand tightly.

Her idea did sound wonderful... It would be amazing to sit back and relax, watching over magical creatures. Especially if it was with Sage. But.. He had thought otherwise about such things. "I.. I think that sounds like a cool idea." He said, careful of how he should say this, " My passion in life is to become an Aurora." "I heard of the great Harry Potter doing so, and it became sort of an obsession of mine. "

He didn't want to ruin the moment, but he knew he had to get this out of the way at some point. An Aurora was a dangerous job, one that had many risks, including the ever looming prospect of death. He wondered if one could be a married man, and still be an Aurora. But what about children? Could he have children and willingly go into dangerous situations, knowing that if he died, those children were left fatherless? This was all wishful thinking of course, as there was no saying what could happen in their time at Hogwarts. But for the moment, he planned on enjoying his time with Sage. For that was all he really wanted as of now. To be with her.

Sage smiled and nodded "that would be kind of cool to be honest. Imagine, the great auror Kayden Dragoon and the wonderful zoologist Sage Miller!" She said with a smile as she pretended to clap and cheer as if they were in front of an audience. She giggled at her goofiness as she continued to walk next to him. "I hear being an Auror is dangerous though. I don't really know what they do but I know what they do is dangerous. You'd be a good Auror though, you're very brave" she said and encouraged. He was brave and she could see him being brave as his job.

"You know I'd love to meet a Centaur. I read that they have to be spoken to with the highest respect, much like a Hippogriff. I would love to own a Hippogriff. I think that would be fun." She smiled as she thought of what she'd call him "I'd probably call him...Robin? Or Norman? I don't know what do you think? One of these days Kayden, I'm going to own a bunch of animals and I'm going to take care of them and they'll all love me. Maybe I could get a pet dragon too" she giggled and rolled her eyes. She doubted it, but here anything was possible.

"A dragon would be cool, but I hear they are quite hard to tame." Kayden had always secretly wanted a dragon, but he had never really voiced that thought. Perhaps, one day, he could have one. Maybe he could ride it even. That would be great.

He was quite excited, his first two weeks he had already found friends. And love. He was filled with a sense of joy, as the sun shined on his face, and a group of first years walked onto the lawn. One wasa Gryffindor prefect that Kayden had grown fond of, and upon seeing him, the prefect gave him a wink. Kayden rolled his eyes back. "We should do this every morning, before lessons." He said, voicing his thoughts. It was funny how in a matter of hours, he had gone from not being able to talk to her without shaking, to holding her hand, with not a care in the world. Children were standing around talking in the courtyard now, enjoying their day off. There was a group of Gryffindors milling around in a corner, and Kayden gave them a wave as they passed. Some snickered but most smiled back and waved.

"That sounds amazing, doing this every day" she wrapped her hands around his arm as they walked, smiling shyly as they passed other students who were looking at them. They'd definitely be the talk of the school for a week or so. She didn't care though, it wasn't like they were doing anything wrong. She could just imagine doing this every day with him. The thought made her smile as she thought about the future and what it may hold for both of them.

"I'm so hungry" she said. She let go of his arm and bent down to pick up some snow and threw it at him playfully. She laughed loudly as she started running back to the castle, wondering if he could catch up. Her hair flowed behind her and bobbed with every step she took as she ran. She looked back to see if he was following her, with another laughed she kept running towards the castle, running as fast as her legs would let her. She wanted to have some kind of fun before breakfast, not that having her first kiss wasn't fun, but more playful fun, like when she pushed him to the ground.

Grabbing some snow off the ground, he threw it back at her as she ran. She was fast though, and Kayden missed by quite a bit. Chasing after her, determined to not lose in a race, he wondered why nobody was out in the courtyard. They had all seemed to leave. Classes probably. he thought, as he chase after her. The snow crunched against his feet, slowing him down s bit, but he was determined, each breath blew a large cloud into the air, as he sprinted after her. He knew he would have t go back inside sometime, but for now, he felt fine.

He was catching up, as they neared the castle. The grass was quite firm, and made it difficult to run across. About ten feet away, he noticed her rosy cheeks huffing and puffing out air. She also seemed quite tired. He thought of using a spell, but he couldn't use magic in a sentient being yet, he had been in hog warts for little over two weeks.

About three feet away, he let out a ridiculous battle cry, and wrapped both arms around Sage as he tackled her to the ground softly, not wanting her to hit the cold ground too hard.

Sage screamed slightly but with laughter as she felt arms wrap around her and push her to the ground into the cold snow. She laughed as she fought him to try and get up again "I won! I totally won! You cheated!" She laughed as she sat up and threw more snow at him playfully.

Her cheeks were red and she was having a bit of a hard time breathing, there was now snow in her hair and she shook it out like a dog shaking off water. She giggled and looked at Kayden, smiling happily as she panted. After taking a few deep breaths to catch her breathing and get it under control, she looked at him and laughed again softly "come on, let's eat. I'm hungry. That was fun though, finishing off a walk with a run. I'm definitely awake now" she laughed a bit louder as she stood up and brushed the snow off with her hands and then offered to help him up once she was done.

She wondered what was for breakfast and thinking about how good the food was made her mouth water. Plus, she might be able to eat with Kayden which she was excited for.
