Gryffindor Vs Hufflepuff

With Lucille sitting beside him, Leo was feeling more excited about watching the game now that he wasn’t spending it alone. In their few interactions since coming to Hogwarts he has gotten to see only a little of her personality so he was curious to see how they would get along away from the group setting now. At her remark he chuckled softly and nodded, he probably deserved that little touch of sarcasm she threw at him for his question. Of course she would root for her house to win the match. “That’s probably true, yeah.” A sheepish smile landing on his face.
As he was about to turn to face the pitch again, he spotted a familiar red headed girl waving over and walking towards them. Leo sat up a little as the girl approached them, cleaning off the seat beside him so she could sit. “Hello, Cece. I’m more surprised to see you here. What brings you to this game? The Slytherin team doesn’t play until later against Ravenclaw.” He asked curiously. She hadn’t shown much interest in playing or watching quidditch when they had talked about it before so he was honestly really surprised to see her attending this match when it didn’t even involve her house. No matter what the case was, Leo was happy to see his friend there and was excited to get to spend time with both of them now. “Yes, of course I’m here to support Rosa, she’s my friend. I’m supporting my friend Fred too though, and Avery.” Leo was excited to get to see them all out there on the pitch. Even if they were only on the bench right now, he wanted to show his support for them so he knew he would try his best to yell for them.
As Cecilia went to introduce herself to Lucille he suddenly felt bad for not immediately introducing them himself but let the two greet each other and get situated. With one of his old family friends on one side and his new friend on the other the match certainly would be interesting on and off the pitch for him knowing how these two were separately.
With the game starting, Leo sat up and held his banner to be able to cheer on the team. Although he was shy to yell loud, he still did his best for the lion team, cheering when something good was happening and letting out a couple sighs when things took a turn. He noticed beside him that Lucille seemed a little lost when the Gryffindor team was losing by 40 points and she made her remark, Leo chuckled softly and decided he would try to help point out things as the game continued. Putting down the sign for the moment, he lifted his mug back up to take a sip of his hot chocolate. “So far, it isn’t going their way but they can still turn it around.” He agreed and let out a little sigh. “Maybe if they put in one of our friends things would go better.” Leo jokingly said even though he knew that if one of them was going in it meant that someone was hurt and coming out. Still he hoped to see them out there getting to play. With him mentioning his friends who were on the bench, he leaned forward to look out at the Gryffindor bench to try to spot them. Even from the distance he could just barely make out their figures. It seemed like Avery and Rosaline were talking as they sat and watched, no doubt trying to discuss the plays being made as it seemed like Fred was busy being Fred and yelling out to distract the opposing team’s players. Leo smiled as he watched the scene before turning his attention back to the actual game. Even on the bench they were still busy watching the team and doing what they could to prepare or help out.

mentioning: @Gabriele Ricci-Armani | date: 19-10-2025 | fit: x
Oh, Great Merlin. She'd been spotted. Avis stuck out her tongue at Gabriele's smile which was simply oozing with self-importance and attitude. The girl rolled his eyes at his cheeky wave and stuck up a specific finger in return, shoving her hands into her armpits after and slumping in her seat as her cheeks reddened unprovoked. Avis chewed the inside of mouth with displeasure, still absolutely baffled at how the boy had gotten a spot on the team. And as a Beater no less, according to the gear he was wearing. How in the hell he was going to keep himself on his broom and wave a bat around was beyond her.
Still, Avis stayed glued to her chair. The game was decently interesting anyhow, and the girl found herself letting out a whoop when the Gryffindor chaser managed to get a goal in between Hufflepuff's relentless offense. One truly had to admire their starting Chaser. Camilla was good.
After the Lion goal, she shot a satisfied look in Gabriele's direction, mouthing 'Your team is ass.' as clearly as possible, even though it seemed to be quite the opposite. Regardless, Avis wasn't going to let that opportunity go to waste.
In fact, she almost wished he was playing so she could see him getting turned into absolute mince meat by the other Beaters, but alas. Benched as expected.

I doubt my limited knowledge of the sport will be of any use, so we shall be clueless together,” she replied. Although she loved sports, she lacked exposure to Quidditch. Her uncle once promised to take her to a game one day, but the unpredictable nature of his work often sidelined their plans. Still, Cecilia held out hope that the day would arrive. At that moment, a thought came to mind when she recalled her conversation with Leo during their first charms lesson. “Or perhaps Noxley will impart some knowledge on us, and we will leave these stands with a newfound interest,” she said half-jokingly before a sudden breeze made her grimace. She then turned to Leo, whose comment amused her and pulled her scarf a little tighter, trying to ward off the chill. “Unofficial duty,” she joked with a faux-serious tone that quickly faded when she laughed. “As you know, my reputation precedes me when it comes to punctuality,” she began, fully aware that she was putting it lightly. “A friend of mine is playing later, so attending this game is a precaution of sorts,” she continued, explaining and tilted her mug slightly to swirl the malt. “I also wanted to see what all the excitement was about. You know, first game of the season and all,” she added, glancing at the rowdy crowds surrounding them. “Though this biting cold made me second-guess myself, I’m glad I ran into you two,” she chuckled, feeling grateful for their presence. Perhaps it was their warmth, but something about sitting with them made it easier to bear with the crisp autumn air nipping at her skin. Her sly grin stretched wider when he referred to Rosaline as a friend, and almost by instinct, she glanced at Lucille. For a moment, she wondered if they shared similar thoughts on the matter, but rather than commenting, she simply nodded silently. “Yes, of course. We must support our friends whenever we can,” she hummed, lifting her mug to hide her smile before she turned her attention back to the pitch. Once the match began, her eyes darted across the pitch as she tried to keep track of the players. Her brows furrowed whenever she lost track of the ball, and she slowly began to despair. Yet every so often, Lucille’s abrupt cheers reminded her that she was not alone. Each time the girl glanced over, she offered a small smile in hopes that she could provide some comfort in turn. ────𓃦──── The chill of the wind slowly sapped away the warmth of her mug but Cecilia still held on tightly. By the second round, the gap between the scores had widened and the situation appeared dire for the lions. “It doesn’t look good, but they could still turn things around,” she finally spoke, trying to reassure them as she ran her thumbs over her mug. She had a growing fondness for Rosaline, and it would be a shame for her first game to end in a defeat. Though she held out some hope, she could not blame her companions if they were worried. Perhaps there was a way she could ease their nerves. “What do you both think of sweets?” she asked meekly before falling silent. Her gaze remained fixed on the two as she waited for their response. She was always willing to share the wrapped confections stuffed into her pockets. However, she recently learnt the hard way that not everyone was delighted to try them. |

The walk to the Quidditch pitch felt longer than it should have. Crystal Theodora could feel the biting cold in every single step. She kept her arms folded tightly around herself, hugging the sweater she had stitched by hand. Red and gold crossed her chest in careful lines, and on the back, the number 16. Big and bright. It was Kora Eliot, the Gryffindor keeper's jersey number.
By the time the pitch came into view, Crystal could hear loud cheers from within the stadium. Too loud. She realized with a small jolt that she had missed the start of the game. She entered the stadium. She saw the scoreboard, and her heart sank. Gryffindor was losing right now...
She chose a seat and sat down. Aiden wasn’t there yet. She pulled her sleeves over her hands and pressed them together, rubbing slowly for warmth. Her eyes searched the air. As if having a mind of their own. Knowing where they would stop.
Kora Eliot. Seeing her made everything else soften. The way she flew so steady, like she belonged in the air was extremely exhilarating to watch. She leaned forward and clapped, the sound small against the crowd. "Go Gryffindor!" she said, voice thin from the cold. "Go Kora!" She cheered as loudly as she could.

Gryffindor Vs Hufflepuff
Breathless, scarf unraveled, hair already mussed from sprinting up the steps two at a time, Mikey finally slowed when the noise of the crowd registered with him, cheers and groans that banged against each other, to a keen whistle in the wind. He glanced at the scoreboard out of instinct and wincing. Right on time. Scanning the sea of people quickly, his eyes ran over the blur of red, gold, and yellow until a burst of Hufflepuff colors caught his notice. Ellie.
Relief eased his shoulders. “I couldn’t find you,” he said, sliding sideways to the bench in a shuffle of his feet, backing up past knees and scarves to drop into the seat beside her. “I tried to hurry. But I swear, I didn’t mean to miss the start.” His eyes were already fixed on the pitch again, searching. The moment he caught sight of Avery, her red robes standing out against the drab background of the grey sky, his expression changed, his focus honed. He leaned forward, elbows on knees, hands clasped together.
”Come on, Avery,” he grunted in a whisper, then raised up to cup his hands. “That's it, push them back! You can do it!” He gave Ellie a swift sideways glance, and his smile reappeared. "Both sides, eh?" he asked, nudging Ellie’s knee with his own. "Very diplomatic of you. You’re supporting both sides, aren’t you?"
Another eruption of cheers went up, and Mikey readily joined in. Whatever the score was, whatever house was represented in the crowd by the color in the stands, his gaze remained steadfast on the field and on Avery clock racing in time with the game as he finally settled in beside Ellie.
