my family used to have a little uhh prediction thingy. I think it's bogus but fun to do ngl.

My uncle had a persimmion tree on his property and we used to cut those open and depending on the shape of the seeds, it would be how our winter would be.
- Spoon shaped - Lots of snow
- Fork shaped - Mild winter
- Knife shaped - Freezing cold winter

What you'd do is you grab a ripe persimmon, cut it in half, obtain the seeds then cut the seeds in half to see what shape you get.

Also, it’s hit negative wind chills here of -30, but I believe the lowest we hit was possibly last year when it was in the range of -7 to -10

I think the lowest temp we get here is around 25 degrees celcius

The lowest temperature here is like 15-20 degree Celsius

I was looking to see what the lowest was and I came across 2.. the lowest I remember was like 12 degrees, rip to whoever suffered 2 I guess

Now, I live in the lower altitude and my papaw used to live higher up so there were always a lot of snow yearly where he lived and it was always cold in the winter, so much so that we bundled up in multiple layers of blankets and slept in the living room with the furnace going (as I watched annabelle and my siblings slept) but at home? Sure it was cold but there was always like a 10 degree difference between the two areas I would stay at at times.

I admit that i've been fueling my characters with a bit of nostalgia from my childhood. I have to! It sparks realism to me.

ah, I miss my childhood.

We were mentioning how it's been half a decade since covid and ;-; jesus I was like 13-14 when it broke out. I joined hio March 2021, so my 5 year anniversary is coming up in a few months. God, I'm getting old, time is too fast. All i can hope for is I enjoy the rest of my life and hope it slows down lmao
