A most unexpected plan.

Rounding the corridor and walking into the library, Kayden quickly viewed his surroundings. No prefects. Good. Sitting down, he looked around. I told her to meet me here! he thought hurriedly. He quickly grabbed a book of the shelves, as not to seem suspicious. He fingered through the pages, pretended to be interested in the words imprinted on them.He had quite a... Daring plan involved. He knew that Willow would be unlikely to agree with it, but her and Sage were some of his best friends. He looked around again. Where is she? she had asked a raven law prefect to ask Willow to meet me here. He knew that hufflepuffs were more inclined towards good deeds, but he needed a partner in crime. He thought of asking Sage, but... Well frankly, he was too embarrassed to ask. He could ask Willow anything, he knew that. But whenever they were around it ended up in her teasing him about how flushed and nervous he got around Sage. All of it playful. He thought about leaving, abandoning the plan, but he had to stay strong. He already didn't believe in himself enough, this would be a c fence booster. Looking at the door again, he finally spotted Willow. He waved for her to come over, not in such a subtle manner.

She couldn't deny that she was surprised to be invited to the library by Kayden, especially under some ominous information, and by a Ravenclaw prefect no less. She just assumed that maybe he was having a hard time in certain subject and was embarrassed by it. She was feeling the same way about some of her subjects. Defense Against the Dark Arts was hard for her to grasp, especially just around the idea of how scary the Dark Arts were. But, she shrugged it off and headed off to the library. She had a decent amount of her homework with her too, just in case she got the chance to do some studying with Kayden.

Once she entered the library she spotted Kayden, he wasn't very sneaky if he was trying to be. She skipped over, getting a warning from the librarian before walking again. "Hey Kayden! What'd you call me to this spoooky meeting for?" She dragged out the spooky as if she was a ghost, "You didn't give me much information to go off of, on why I'm here. I brought most of my notes if it's a homework question! And if I don't have the answer I'm sure we can find it together." She beamed across the table from him, finally taking a seat.

Kayden leaned back in his chair and smiled. No jokes abut Sage? Are you feeling ok?" He knew that she treasured her little jokes, and Kayden often beared with them, trying to be a good friend. Pushing the book aside, he gave her his entire attention. "Im not here for studying." He said, trying to act ominus. He judged whether this would be a good idea, knowing that if she chose to go tell the headmaster, he'd be doomed. Taking a deep breath, and focusing on his mini-speech he had prepared, he began. "I... Decided I would tell Sage how I feeled about her." He waited for her lol of shock and contorted smugness, but it never came. But... Well. I couldn't do it face to face. So I wrote her a note. More of a poem actually. But... So, I mean... He took a deep breath. I was bored, and I began practicing using the "Wigardium Leviosa" spell on the piece of paper. I only intended for it to maybe rise a few feet, but it flew through the air, and smashed the glass into Solomon Lears office! He's going to kill me! He tried settling down a bit. I need you to help me get it back. Mr Lear will be going back to his office in two hours. Please. Help me Willow.

She rolled her eyes at the beginning comments, "No jokes! You seem serious, seriously silly by any standard. But still serious." Willow was shocked by how serious Kayden got, her Puff instincts kicked in. Maybe he was hurt by someone? Was he failing school? She decided to let him do the talking. There was no point in being lost in her head since he was probably about to tell her what was going on. She was ecstatic with joy when he mentioned that he was going to tell Sage how we felt, "Kayden! That's great! I'm happy for you." But there was more.

She was stunned by his next story, mouth dropping agape. "That's a powerful Wingardium Leviosa spell you got going on. I can barely get mine to lift off the table in the first place." She sighed, "You're asking a lot of me Kayden. I mean, essentially breaking into the headmaster's office. Isn't it better to just own up? I'm sure this isn't the first time a first year has smashed some glass because of a spell gone awry. Most you'll get is probably some cleaning duty." She dropped down to a whisper, "Besides, I heard that the portraits and ghosts see everything in this school." She was worried, and started playing and twisting a strand of her hair, this plan was just too dangerous.

Oh no. Oh no. Please no. She wasn't gonna do it! He decided to explain further. "Listen, when Mr. Lear finds the note he will be reading it in the great hall during breakfast, finding out the culprit, snd probably trying to embarrass them. To make them "learn from there mistakes, and if he does that, and... If Sage doesn't like me back., then what am I to do? I'll be teased for the rest of my years at Hogwarts! And besides, she's already got the Ravenclaw prefects all over her. What if she fell for one of them? They're much more....distinguished then me." He knew that he was spilling his guts here, but if there was one person he could trust, it was Willow. Now all he had to do was hope she agrees. If not, he would be forced to tell the Headmaster. And then he would get sent to detention for sure. He had already gotten in trouble for his levitation spell once, in the library. He had great power, but very little accuracy. He saw Willow twisting her hair nervously and Kayden changed gears. "Look Willow, I can't make you do anything. I would ask Sage, but I kinda need the perfect time and place to tell her about.. my feelings. Are you in?"
