I have soo many theories already (specifically with Max, Will, Vecna, and Nancy) my big theory is that the Upside Down already existed, but Will was the one to make it into Hawkins, if that makes sense. and I think that Vecna was going to go through with his plan a lot earlier, but it didn't work

You have better assumptions! I just thought Will would be used again by Vekna and that he and Seven will fight in the end? But I’m not sure Max has power of her own? That scene in the lift with Max and Lucas is mind wrecking, I assumed Max will wake up there
