A New Place Comes With New Friends
Kevin blinked when Jade disappeared out of the compartment. For a moment, Kevin wondered where she had gone too. However, now that she was gone, perhaps he could take that time to go and change into his robe. He wondered if he would ever use them again. Probably not. You really only get accepted into Hogwarts once. There was no need for another set of robes like the ones he was going to wear. He didn't think he was going to need them anymore. Not soon anyway. Perhaps he could give them to his mother. She liked to keep memoirs and other things similar.
When Jade arrived back, Kevin blinked at her, "You went to go change? I can't be seen in these clothes now, can I? Let me go change!" It was then that Kevin disappeared from the compartment to go and track down his luggage. Which, in his opinion, was easier said than done. For when he arrived, his hair was mussed and he was out of breath. "I say, I wish they'd let us keep our luggage in the compartment with us. That really was too much work." It seemed as though Kevin was lazy. It wasn't surprising in the least. Kevin was in fact a very lazy child. His mother usually blamed his father for that. Despite his father's very Slytherin personality, he, too, was very lazy. Plopping down on the soft cushion, Kevin threw an arm around his eyes and groaned. That was the most work he has ever had to do since getting up that morning. He was already tuckered out.
"The trolly? Really?" Kevin's tone immediately changed to wonder as he peaked out from under his arm, "You're going to treat me as well? I'll take a chocolate frog then!" Kevin pushed himself up and smiled at Jade, "Don't be fooled though. Next time, I'll get you. Whatever sweet you want you can believe it alright."

A New Place Comes With New Friends
Kayden had been minding his own business, sitting at one of the tables while flipping through Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, when a group of rowdy boys came up to him and demanded that he leave the table. Sizing them up, Kayden determined there was no way he would win in a fight. One boy was dark haired, and carried an aurora of supremacy around him. The other was blonde, with rippling muscles, and a mole on his chin. They looked quite scary.With a soft nod, he got up and let the boys take his spot. He put the book back in his suitcase, and looked around for a table with nobody sitting at it. Not finding one, he turned to the most viable option. There was a table with a boy with red hair and a pleasant looking demeanor. Next to him was a quite attractive girl, and they seemed to be discussing in friendly conversation. Picking up his robes, cheeks flushed with embarrassment, he walked over. "Hey, um, im Kayden. Do you mind if I sit here? I got kicked out of my other seat." He spoke in a slightly waning tone, clearly embarrassed. God, he hoped they'd say yes.

Kevin blinked as he looked towards the sound of the new voice. It was a boy. A boy with blonde hair and friendly eyes. Kevin glanced towards Jade. He didn’t really know what to say. He certainly wouldn’t mind more friends, but he didn’t want Jade to be uncomfortable either. However, Kevin wasn’t going to turn the boy away, he simply smiled. It looked as though this boy needed a friend.
Kevin was indeed a friendly child, having easily stated to the blonde boy,“I don’t mind. Nice to meet you Kayden. This is Jade. I’m Kevin.” Kevin wisely was not going to comment on how the boy had gotten kicked out of his own compartment. Some people just didn’t like confrontation, Kevin figured this boy was someone who didn’t like confrontation either. However, Kevin couldn’t keep his mouth shut forever.
“Next time, don’t be afraid to stand your ground.” Kevin looked towards Jade, “Right, Jade?” Kevin loved making friends. This boy looked as though he could have been a Hufflepuff, but Kevin had a feeling that there was boy to the boy than met the eye. Kevin would just have to see what would happen. “Are you a first year like us?”

Glad to hear they accepted him, Kayden slid into the seat next to... Jade? He believed that was her name. Setting his suitcase to the side he spoke in a slightly more confident voice. "Mark my words those boys will end up in slytherin." Feeling a need to defend himself, he added, "I might not be the bravest, but until I learn some magic, I have nothing to defend myself in the meantime." These guys seemed nice enough. Certainly better than those boys earlier. "And yes I'm a first year. I'm extremely nervous. I just pray I'll find some way to survive. Other people have great tales of sending frogs to attack a parent, or some such great feat. All I did was set a flammable stick on fire. Quite unimpressive if you ask me." He studied the boys features more closely. He seemed listening intently. He was thankful he had met a good listener. The best kind of friends. Taking a casual glance over at the girl, he felt his face flush. She was extremely pretty. He had seen the way that her and Kevin had been looking at each other though. It didn't bode well for him. One could only hope.
