Valentine's Tea
Interacting with @Ethen Emrys
Mildred started thinking back on this whole errand, she couldn't really help herself the whole errand screamed "this is ridiculous!" with how pink the room was, the whole pairing although it's not like she didn't like this Ethen kid or whatever, it was just the whole concept of meeting someone new was starting to stress her out, and not to mention the poor kid was drenched top to bottom in tea. Mildred had not even realized the full extent of damage that had been done to him, she didn't even notice that his hair was completely wet and his face was damp, this whole errand is a mess she thought, plus she decided to not even think about whatever drama that's been happening.
She sighed and drank some tea, hopefully, it'll calm her down. she stared at her cup thinking about all sorts of tea that was available, milk tea, green tea, and Oolong? oolong? just what kind of tea is that? She realized just where she was and tried to shake herself out of her daze, without even realizing it Ethen had said something? she wasn't exactly sure... something about season? and potential? he had the potential to excel this school season?? She wasn't exactly sure but he decided to strike some sort of pose, She couldn't help but laugh at whatever was happening. Thinking back on whatever they were talking about, she remembered her joke on his clothes and guessed that he must have been talking about that, “I just am not sure if the world is ready for all of this,” he said with a dramatic sigh.
Mildred agreed with that, the young boy reminded her of those kids in her old school who would always joke around and get the whole class to laugh. She smiled and said, "If you ever become famous or rich for your clothes, remember my name"
The fact that he was still drenched in tea lingered on her mind, was he truly alright? if she had been on the receiving end of some sort of tea spillage she would have probably started tearing up or something. “Well you know, most people might have caught fire due to how hot that tea was,” he joked dramatically. “But I used my quick and catlike reflexes to keep me safe. So only my clothes ended up taking the brunt of it,” She decided if the kid could still joke he should be fine and not badly injured. she awkwardly mumbled, "well.. I'm glad you're alright! wouldn't want someone dying here.." she cringed at what she said, death? really who the heck mentions that? She wasn't sure how to interact with him, with her past interactions with her fellow classmates she always tried to keep it professional, not wanting to make it more awkward she left it at that one comment. catlike reflexes? he must be good at dueling, she wondered if he was in the dueling club or something athletic.
Presenting him with the cookie, Mildred was quite surprised when he took it without any hesitation at all. Although she would never do it herself, maybe she thought. the cookie could have been laced with some sort of potion, or something along the lines, she took note of this. “Um… Sorry! I just really love food,” he said with a large grin. “But thank you so much for this! I wish I had something to give you but unless you want a tea soaked sock I seem to be out of gifts,” In the end, She was happy that he was happy with her gift, although it wasn't really worth much, the refreshment table was nearby and you could easily get more there. "As much as I would love to take your sock, I think it'll be better if you kept it, thanks for offering it though" She could practically imagine it now, he was basically drenched in tea plus he would have a missing sock, she didn't want the poor kid to be laughed at or something.
Thinking back to the whole thing that started this was her question, “Hm… I don’t have much experience with sports. BUT! When I was growing up, I use to get chased by local ostriches… that is kinda like a sport,” " local ostriches? where in the world did this kid live before? she thought. she blurted out, "ostriches!? just where in the world are you from?" She blushed a little realizing she blurted that out.
“My turn! Um… Wah…” Mildred looked at the mess the paper was making, it appeared to have gotten soaked too and was dripping tea onto the floor at this point, “Oh! It asks, what did you do last weekend?” last weekend? just like every weekend, she was either in the common room reading or in the library. Although it was a lackluster response, it simply was the truth she calmly said, "Oh um.. last weekend I was at the library reading, to be honest with you I think this errand will be the most eventful thing I'll be doing all week.." maybe months actually she thought. Although, it was the truth so she was happy with it. She didn't even realize it, he's been standing there while she's been sitting she got up and pulled out a chair for him although she thought shouldn't the guy do this? she thought,

Valentine's Tea
@Katrina Walker
The entire event seemed to be crumbling before the boy's emerald eyes, flicking his attention from one thing to another. Prefects thankfully had joined in on a girl not only spilling tea... but like a feral beast was smashing another boy's face into one of the tables. Poor taste. John's nose wrinkled slightly as he started to heavily debate leaving. House points or not, this was not his type of gathering. He only felt poorly for the Professor who clearly had just wanted to host a wonderful time for the students to socialize and judging by the decor show off her possibly deeply seeded obsession with pink.
Trying to drown out the commotion that filled the hallway, John turned to the teas behind him all set up in an orderly fashion. Eyeing the selection he wasn't sure what to try first. Tea had been something his Mother had passed down to him in comparison to his father's love of coffee. She often hosted small gatherings at their second home in Wales and from a young age included John. Though he was sure it was mainly to try and show off their eldest son... More yelling drew John's attention back to the group.
Professor Bercegeay had stepped in and seemed rather upset that things had gotten so out of hand with the blonde haired girl who John assumed was the one who set off the chaos to begin with. Even with her kindly appearance, the Flying Professor clearly commanded the room with her shift in tone. Something John found himself appreciating... maybe she had a completely different side to her the boy mused to himself. Hastily choosing one of the teas on the table, John prepared a cup for himself as the Professor called out the matches. Oh.. she had been serious. His hand went to his throat and fiddled with his tie absentmindedly. It really was a good thing he had dressed up just in case.
"-Katrina Walker and John Wolfe-"
Quickly John peered around the room at the others wondering who Katrina was. The name was not familiar to him but perhaps they knew him and were looking in his direction. At least he had hoped so that searching for her would be a bit quicker..
"-MOVE!"
This woman did not mess around when it came to love. He made an attempt to not flinch at her inflection on the word. It almost sent him hurtling into memories of being at home with his mother barking orders at him to socialize with other children at gatherings or hand out trays of sweets to her so-called friends that attended tea. John opened the piece of parchment that held his question on it, nodding his head slightly. It seemed like a pretty good question and wouldn't give him too much trouble gathering an answer, or so he hoped.
Standing by the table, tea in hand John continued to scan the room. He was starting to feel more and more self-conscious as others began to pair up. That too could make things a bit easier to find Katrina. Taking note of people pairing up and making their way to their seats, or Hospital Wing with the Professor, John's eyes darted from face to face. He hoped his partner was at least someone he could relate to on some level of- his gaze fell on a girl who looked very... Muggle. He had an innate feeling this could possibly be his partner for the event. Of course, although inwardly he pleaded with whatever Gods that he was wrong. A couple of people were still gathered by her but John figured if he were wrong he could simply ask if they knew who Katrina was. Smoothing the font of his jacket and checking the button was secure, the lion made his way through the crowd and towards the girl's table. As he came closer he noticed a streak of teal nestled in the tresses of auburn.
Ignoring whoever else might be lingering with the girl, John looked to her first and introduced himself with a slight bow of his head. "I'm John Wolfe, might you be Miss Walker?" Years of properly trained introductions had been so far ingrained in the boy he may as well have sounded like an alien to how everyone else spoke to each other these days. His hand rested on the back of one of the plush chairs. "May I join you?" If he was wrong he would ask if she knew the girl he was to sit with otherwise he still agonized internally over the girl's appearance, trying best not to let it show on his expression.

Valentine's Tea
Tyranni hadn't really had to interact much with Professor Bercegeay, so she was not particularly thrilled about having her arrival publicly announced, allowing everyone who wanted to stare at her. As she sat in the chair to the side of the room sipping on her tea, she could overhear various conversations about something that had happened right before Tyr arrived to the party. Apparently some girl (Evelynn) had hot tea dumped on her head by a Slytherin girl (Persephone) and then the Slytherin proceeded to attack at least 3 other students. Some peoples kids, she thought. There will always be a few rotten fruit perpetuating the belief that everyone in Slytherin was evil.
She was only half-heartedly listening to the professor rambled on about love until she heard that each student was going to be paired up with another student. Wait! What!? I thought this was just going to be a tea party! She coughed up a little bit of the tea she inhaled when this news became announced. As her mind raced with panic at being paired up with someone randomly, she anxiously awaited the moment when she would hear her name.
"Oh what fun! Now, the pairs are the following:
.....
.....Suzuki, Tyranni Whitethorn and Andrew Vance, Ginevra...
...., the Professor continued to list off names.
She was handed a paper with a question on it and told to go find this Andrew guy. She thought he was from Slytherin also, because she remembers hearing his name around the common room, but she had never met him. She would have to remember to ask what year he was in. Right as she was about to go search him out, a young boy approached her and introduced himself as Andrew. "Or Andy - that's my nickname - whatever you like."
Like Tyr, Andrew had come just for the food and tea. "I knew that it was a Valentine's Tea Party, but I didn't expect to be paired up with other students! Professor keeps talking about 'the true point of this day' and 'love' but I think it's kind of cheesy," Tyr managed to say, still in shock. Taking another sip of her tea to calm her nerves, she inhaled and exhaled deeply. "Meeting new people is not normally my cup of tea. See, punny." She awkwardly laughed about her pun. "You can call me Tyranni or Tyr." (Tyr is pronounced like tear, produced when people cry).
Andrew unfolded the paper that was given to him with a question. Quite loudly he proclaimed, "WHO'S YOUR BEST FRIEND?" Tyranni chuckled at the theatrics, hoping that if the professor were near by, she would be satisfied with the two following her instructions to get to know one another.
"My best friend is a muggle back home. His name is Dillon. My parents are both wizards, but they wanted me to experience both the muggle and magical worlds so I was enrolled in a muggle school before Hogwarts. Dillon is...well was one of my classmates. I don't make many friends quickly. I'm not shy, but I just don't tend to 'vibe' with certain people, you know? I miss him a lot. We used to do a lot together, like play Viking warrior in the woods next to my hometown." As she talked about her friend Dillon, she felt an emptiness develop in her stomach. She really missed him and wished that she could bring him to Hogwarts to visit, but she knew that wasn't possible. "Otherwise, I don't really know many people here at Hogwarts yet, so I don't have any friends here. Do you have a best friend?" She hoped she didn't scare him with her winded answer. She just doesn't get to speak to many other students and Andrew had a calming presence.

Valentine's Tea
Interaction with @Nico Shymane
As if answering essentially all of his prayers a very unhappy looking Olphie Birdsaregay @Olphie Bercegeay the eccentric flying professor came to their rescue. She swiftly resolved the situation with an impressive authority he didn't she had. It was quite easy to forget she was a professor with how she acted most times. It was a mistake he hoped to not make with her, as just like Nico she could be quite scary when she was furious.
He was snapped out of this by @Jack Burnett and gave him his attention. "Ah just may come to find you to hear more about this then." He flashed a small grin to the young Slytherin. Before turning his attention Olphie again taking the slip of paper she gave him and then looking down at Nico next to him. Looking at the paper, reading it and then to Nico his cheeks had visibly turned a light shade of pink. Partially covering his many, many freckles.
"H-Hey Nico. Um how about we go to the table over there. I still see some tea. We can read each other our questions and do...ya know...whatever it we want?" Okay he really should stop talking and just slowly curl up and die in a ball. Why was he so nervous though? He had heard plenty of cheesy pick up lines from his grandfather's exploits or his grandmothers when they would gossip. Also just being around Dublin and observing one would hear a lot of funny things.
As his thoughts ran rampant his flushing turned into noticeable blushing and he didn't even notice he was staring intently at Nico. Standing there like a tree blowing awkwardly in the wind.

Valentine's Tea
@Saskia Nicholson
What had begun as a simple errand, perhaps an escape for students to rack up a few extra house points, and all-around an event of innocent expectation had quickly spiraled into what could only be described as chaos. The dance of several overexcited students and the prefects that brought the fate that met them was sort of captivating. Nothing that was happening was exactly a good thing, as evidenced by the worrying number of screams and yells coming from that direction, but still, something was happening.
No, Thora didn't want drama. A stress-free, drama-free place where they could get together, talk, and pick up a few house points along the way was the ideal. At least, the ideal for most, including Thora. Of course, this was Hogwarts. While she'd only called the magical castle her home for about a year and a half, it had become clear that chaos was just part of a normal day at Hogwarts.
In the span of mere moments which Thora's green eyes were trained on a very suspicious group of younger students, injuries were made, feelings hurt, people escorted out. Everything could go wrong in the matter of seconds, it seemed. Apparently the blonde girl with the scary devilish smile had poured a scalding hot cup of tea down a redhead's neck. No, Evelynn's neck.
Thora didn't know the Gryffindor well, but she'd met her by chance on quite a few occasions. She seemed a kind soul and noble for someone so young, and she certainly didn't deserve that. The snek found herself biting her lip as she watched the girl leave the room, hair wet and no doubt having sustained several nasty burns.
She could've stepped in. She could've helped. She could've done something to prevent the disaster, the spark that had begun a raging fire. But Thora was too late, and for once, she didn't lift a finger to help. A couple prefects whom she actually recognized had already swooped in. And so had the professor. Not having missed the twisting and grabbing of people that had preceded a tense control, Thora wasn't sure how long the peace would last. But at least they had it for now.
But then a freakishly loud voice practically exploded off of the walls, pulling Thora out of her trance. That was... some way to get people's attention. But as the already pale-faced girl listened, paranoid of missing an instruction, her eyes widened. Pairings? Pairing meant romance, which meant premature love, which meant all sorts of awkwardness she hated.
Love—well, romantic love, as the professor had clearly meant—was stupid. It was completely unnecessary among a group of kids. Thora'd seen plenty of it already in the months spent at Hogwarts, and more wasn't exactly on her to-do list. What had she even signed up for? She was not going to sit with a boy that the professor fancied her with. It simply wasn't happening. It might've been better if Thora knew the one she would be stuck with, but unfortunately, she'd barely gotten to know any boys. So, here went nothing. But she wasn't with a boy. She was with... Saskia?
Thora's face drained of all color as she thought of all—too many—of the implications that the professor was making. She had certainly quickly taken a liking—platonically, of course—to Saskia but they were barely friends. Since the two girls really hadn't met too often, Thora typically wouldn't have warmed up so quickly, but having seen a lot together at the ball, the Slytherin was even willing to hope for being friends in the future. Maybe the near future. Maybe now.
And then it dawned on her that they could make this fun, that they could ignore whatever the professor thought. Besides, what had she expected? This was Professor Bercegeay, their Flying professor who almost spent more time talking about herself than worrying about students every class. While Thora wasn't one to judge, the professor seemed more than a tad strange. And of course, obsessed with love on every level. No wonder she was using this errand, for Merlin's sake, to pair up students.
Some color finally returning to the girl's cheeks, Thora turned to Saskia and returned her smile. It seemed that they had at least a few shared sentiments about this mess. Or that's what she assumed. "I mean, we could just talk as friends, right?" Thora cocked her head to the side in an attempt to hide her awkwardness. Oh well. Saskia probably could tell how bad she was at literally talking, so there really wasn't any use running away from her weakness. At least, not right now.
"I'm doing fine, I guess. You?" Thora fielded the question in a very unskilled manner. "Sure, we could go to that corner or something." Friends. They were doing this as almost-friends stuck in some professor's idea of fun. Besides, crushes were weird. And annoying. It was honestly a good thing she was with Saskia.
But what the heck was this question? A slip of paper had been thrusted into her hand, and Thora'd barely even thought about paying it a glance. It was a reasonable question to ask for people to get to know each other, but it really should've just been left a simple inquiry. They didn't need romance tips, or whatever that slightly revolting paragraph was meant to be.
The problem was, Thora knew exactly how she would truthfully respond. "About the question, I would go… ehm, anywhere but home," she answered quietly, avoiding eye contact. It wasn't a point she liked to hit, a subject she ever brought up. In fact, most times, the girl just tried to forget that her family existed, let alone the problems she had with it. She really didn't feel close enough to Saskia to admit the familial turmoil that'd plagued her since the summer break, but there was only so long you could hold onto something.
Trust wasn't something that came easily. Trust wasn't something she'd given many people. Trust was something that had hurt her. But trust was something that had gotten her the very few friends she had. Thora'd just told Saskia a lot. And she hoped that her trust wasn’t in vain and, most of all, that it wouldn't cost her another friend.

Valentine's Tea
Interacting with @Persephone Barret and @Quinn Healy. Mentions @Olphie Bercegeay
Abilities : Lovely Creature
The First Year wasn't impressed to say the least. Instead, Nico found she sounded more intrigued. Blast... Maybe she had been careless, showing her dhampir side. The redhead wasn't out to hurt people. Far from it. She wanted to get along with everyone. She saw it as a part of her Prefect job but... even for herself. Her days before Hogwarts were lonely and grim. The only light she had were her parents and the cat that came to visit her in their backyard. Only they had given her comfort and a positive view on the world. Her loving family had saved her. The dhampir didn't feel superior to humans. Not in the least since her mother was one. Nico was more human than dhampir, that's what she told herself.
Persephone had some fire in her. A certain spite that she couldn't put her finger on. With some force, Nico's grip slipped off the girls neck -- her nails leaving some small cuts with a few drops of blood sliding down. It was small. A minor wound. Nico shook her head, trying to get rid of her angry thoughts. What? How? She didn't cut her... She didn't intend to. It wasn't her fault! Taking a few steps back, Nico looked at her nails. Small spots of blood had sinked into the tips. 'No...' Her eyes had returned to her normal state. Back to the pure, light blue. With a swift panic, the redhead pulled out a hankerchief from her dresspockets, eagerly rubbing away the blood. She wasn't a monster, she wasn't a monster,... Another manthra she often had to repeat to herself.
A sharp voice pulled her out of the spiral of selfhate, the one from Olphie. After she almost become one with the bright pink furniture, she thought it was finally time to intervene. It only took her ... what? ... Three severely injured students to take action? That wasn't so bad right?
That was horrible, actually.
Since Persephone didn't seem to give a damn about what the Prefects thought, Nico hoped Olphie could maybe get through the girls thick skull. After some vigorously rubbing, the Slytherin Prefect managed to remove all the blood. It felt better. No angst. No nervousness... Right? She still felt horrible. She hurt a student by accident.
She pulled away... It wasn't my fault... Some smudgy red tears welled up in her eyes but they didn't get a chance to roll out. Because the Ginger Giant once more caught her attention.
"H-Hey Nico. Um how about we go to the table over there. I still see some tea. We can read each other our questions and do...ya know...whatever it we want?"
Using her pinkies she quickly fixed her watery eyes, looking up to Quinn. 'Hm? What ques-' Olphie smiled brightly when she took Nico's hands, placing a small piece of paper in them. With a beautiful handwriting, that could only belong to the Flying Professor, a question had been written down. 'Oh... ' As Olphie continued to give the other students their own piece of paper, Nicos eyes glanced over the phrase. 'T-.. Well.' Because of all the chaos that had unfolded, she forgot that this was a Valentines event... Not a murder one. Olphie went ahead and paired Nico with Quinn. Her chest felt tight as she then carefully looked up at the ginger once more. 'S-Sure, let's sit down.' Oh boi. This felt weird yet exciting. She would get another chance to talk with Quinn face to face since their last actual conversation in the Library. Even back then he already gave her some weird... happy... feelings.
Noticing that Quinn had been staring at her - intentionally or not- Nico's face flushed fully red. 'O-Okey, well let's go over h-AAH!' Of course, since these irrational thoughts had gotten the best of her, her body went in some sort of lockdown -- her entire body just forgot how to walk and evade objects properly. Once more, the dhampir had hit her knee against the edge of one of the tables. Except, this time it was alot harder. 'Tch.. I-I'm fine. HAha...' Focus, Nico. Calm down! Flashing a sheepish smile at the Giant, Nico rubbed her knee taking a seat. The once graceful, mysterious prefect fell down her majestic pedestal. Brushing her hair back in place with her pale fingers, Nico held Olphies note infront of her eyes once more. How do you even start..
'S-So Quinn...' She cleared her throat once more before looking up. He towered above her. It felt kind of intimidating. But it also made her feel safe. It was reassuring. 'S-So, who goes first?' Nervously, she fiddled with the paper - her maryjane shoes gently tapping against one another.

She smiled as the other girl talked. It was nice to see some of her traits in her partner. After all, they both seemed to be the rather energetic and chatty type. Surprisingly, however, there was a very large difference in these two traits as well. Even the exploring, which Teiki had expected, really. The raven-haired girl grinned, allowing her accent to change back to its normal American accent. The English accent had been used before since, in Teiki’s opinion, it sounded more professional.
She tried to keep the switch natural, but that was rather hard considering that her accent had been British-English before. “That’s really cool! I’ve never left the country of France until I went to Hogwarts,” she indicated around the room, “but I’ve always wanted to. So, honestly, any country seems interesting to go to. Although, food is always a good reason to go someplace new.” She laughed softly, before wondering who Ethen had been paired with. Mildred! She looked over at the girl, glancing between her and her partner.
“Yeah, it’s amazing.” She laughed, her hair slowly unfurling from its circular prison. “I did a little bit. Mainly meals, rather than any desserts. Although, I do know some basic crêpes recipes. The savory ones are really good with turkey and melted cheese. Do you have, like, an all-time favorite food?” She glanced curiously at the girl. She already knew her answer, but her range of foods wasn’t all that significant.
“I mean, I think it counts, but go on...” Teiki smiled, curious as to what her answer would be. The Hufflepuff had no real clue herself, so her interest was piqued in the response of someone else. With that, she rocked on her heels once, before listening to what the girl had to say.
“For me, I think I would want to go to some natural part of the location. Like, a national park or something? A place that has been relatively left alone by humankind. For me, my interest lies more in details and such, so it would be interesting to learn about the flowers, animals, and the patterns that they might have. I think it would be really cool to see human culture, but that would probably be the second thing I did in a country.” She nodded, letting her laugh softly. It was fun to talk about, since she had never really had the chance to do something like that. It also did allow more questions to pop up from the response.
"After Hogwarts, would you want to continue to travel? Or would you settle down first?” She already made a guess as to what the answer would be, but her interest lied more in the reasoning that the girl would most likely bring, if she was anything like Teiki.
Sorry for not all of the talking being colored... I didn't have that much time.![]()

Valentine's Tea
With each passing moment, Ethen’s mind became more and more fixated on the final half of the cookie still locked in his hand. Regardless of the awkwardness of the day and meeting, the mere fact that he was able to fill his belly a bit had made it worth it. Even drenched from head to toe with tea would not dampen his mood. He was more than use to a little bit of chaotic mess. He had never been known for his awareness and frequently was the center of a disaster. Peering at the girl in front of him, he could almost sense her hesitance towards the entire situation. It was understandable as they barely knew each other but he found the girl kind in her own way.Open to Interactions

Ethen smiled at her short quip and gave a soft nod. “When I am rich and famous for my tea-soaked clothes, Ill make sure to get you that cookie I owe you,” he nodded as if that would settle all debts. Suddenly lost in his own mind daydreaming about being a fashion icon, he needed to shake his head to reorient his limited focus back on Mildred.
Ethen’s eyes widened at the girl’s sudden mention of death and he peered at her perplexed by the severity. He had no idea tea could be so dangerous. Dangerous enough to slay a witch or wizard would truly make him rethink all his time drinking tea. “Yes… dying is bad… Then they turn into zombies and would chase me all the way into the forest. Where they would eat me like a raw potato or somethin,” Ethen rambled to the girl again getting lost in some terrifying fantasy of being chased by tea soaked zombies. “I better watch out for tea from now on,” he decided out loud as he glared at a nearby cup.
Again nibbling at his cookie, Ethen was slightly glad that the girl decided against his potential gift of a soggy sock. He only had a couple of pairs of socks as it was and he was sure Atlas would tease him incessantly if he ever lost one of them. “Well thank you, I will make it up to you someday for this amazing and beautiful cookie,” he reveled as he held up the half-eaten cookie before dropping it straight into his mouth to chomp away fervently.
For the first time, he saw a bit of surprise from Mildred as she blurted out about his ostrich antics. Her spewed words were quickly followed up by a slight blush that caused him to giggle. “I grew up mostly in South Africa and Mozambique! My parents helped with creatures in Africa while I ran from ostriches,” he nodded happily. “Came back here for school though. Parents said there was nowhere better,” he said deepening his voice to mimic his father.
Ethen listened intently for the girl’s answer thinking about all of the insane things that she may have done over her weekend. Briefly, he wondered if she had made pumpkin helmets to run around scaring the other students… He thought it unlikely but he could hope. However, it seemed that the girl was far more studious than he ever was. He couldn’t imagine spending time READING of all things. Each time a book was placed before him, he found ways to use it as a club. Frequently getting him into trouble. “Well I know I am a bit of a ...uh mess but I hope that you really enjoy this little get together. Its nice to see all these unfamiliar faces,” he smiled as he peered around at all of the other students.
Suddenly, Ethen noticed Mildred pulling a chair out for him to sit and he smiled at the kind gesture. “Well thank you! You just continue to give it seems,” he chuckled softly. “To be honest I didn’t even know this was all going on. I just saw people around and thought there might be food. Little did I know I would be attacked by evil tea,” he said wide-eyed as he lowered himself into the chair she had offered.

As Atlas listened to Teiki's response she noticed the change of accent and was intrigued to find out the girl had never left France and yet had a fairly good American accent and English one. Atlas had lived her entire life in Scotland besides the traveling and both of her parents had been born in Scotland so there was no hiding her thick accent. Not that she had ever tried to but as she heard the girl swap she considered practicing a new accent over the year so when she pulled pranks she could conceal her identity better.
"I have never tried a savory crepe before," Atlas replied thinking back to the few times she had actually had a crepe. "I've seen them on plenty of menus but I get distracted by the dessert crepes and then there's no going back. Per your recommendation, I will have to try a turkey and cheese one next time I have the opportunity." She continued with a smile feeling her stomach grumble with all the talk of food. "You say you cook mainly meals, what are your top 3 favorite meals to cook and do you add any sort of secret ingredients to them or experiment with them in a way that is different than how they are usually made? Are any of these dishes your favorite food or do you have a different favorite dish that maybe someone else makes?"
Hearing the girl's next question made Atlas stop and think, there was no denying her love of food but to pick a favorite food amongst them all seemed almost impossible. "Ummm ergh that is hard...I will narrow it down to 3...My favorites are spicy Tikka Masala with Butter Naan...Blackened Cajun Salmon and Potjiekos made by Ethen's mother. My mom learned how to bake from her father so she grew up trying out all sorts of sweets and desserts and now whenever she has a moment to breathe where she isn't doing something for her job she slips into the kitchen and starts concocting some sort of masterful treat. I have no idea how my father and I aren't 300 pounds by now but my dad thinks it is because she puts some sort of low-carb charm on everything." Atlas continued giggling at the idea of such a charm. "I swear Ethen can sense when she's baking because he always manages to sneak over to my house whenever she is...It is rare I don't see him with a snack in his hand..." she chided looking across the room to see her best friend nomming away at a cookie as he continued his conversation with his partner.
Atlas enjoyed hearing what Teiki wanted to do first in a new country. It was a calm answer where instead of the bustle of the markets or restaurants she just wanted to take in the untouched nature. It was a very Hufflepuff response and she could accept that. It was somewhat boring for Atlas to just go on a hike or walk through a park because she usually just spent the time pretending she was being chased down by dementors or fighting some heroic battle. She hated being quiet and sitting still but it was neat to go out in the wild and just watch especially if there were magical creatures in the vicinity.
The next question Teiki presented Atlas seemed like such a distant thought and yet Atlas had known her answer for years. "Both. I would love to meet a person that shares all my same interests and loves to travel and together we could go to even more countries and experience new things together. My parents have been inseparable since they met and I hope to one day be like them. I want to be an Auror like my father so I'll have to go venture off and track down criminals and whatnot and it would seem less lonely to do so with a significant other at your side." As Atlas spoke this truth she could see Ethen in her mind but the thought of dating anyone right now felt weird...She knew boys didn't have cooties or else she would have caught them from Ethen by now. Her parents were young when they met at Hogwarts or so she was told so it wasn't completely insane..pursing her lips together she realized she had dropped into her headspace for too long and probably looked strange to her partner.
"What about you? After Hogwarts what is your plan?"

Interaction with @Nico Shymane
Quinn followed after Nico with an unusual silence. He followed closely behind her doing his best to not pass her up taking extremely small step. He nearly tripped over himself with each following step. He was snapped out of his focus by Nico running her knee into a table which caused a sudden laugh to escape his lips. "S-Sorry...y-y-yeah lets um sit down." He carefully sat down on the couch cushion right next to Nico. He placed his question on the table and pursing his lips. He laced his fingers together staring down at his hands nervously again.
He was feeling all sorts of positive and strange emotions. It scared him because at the moment his chest felt warm and pleasant. His stomach felt weird and his cheeks were still burning like crazy. He couldn't really describe it well but it terrified him. He felt genuinely happy and nervous and good. He didn't want to loose these feelings, he didn't want Harlin or Aeron to ruin it for him. He didn't want his affliction to scare her. He couldn't allow himself to show Nico what a monster he was. What sort of freak he was.
He couldn't bare the thought and he began to clasp his hands until they were almost pure white from how hard he was squeezing them. It was then that he realized yet again Nico was there. Glancing over to her, his face was now lit up tomato red. Nico was so beautiful, she was one of the most beautiful people he had ever met. 'Dammit you're staring again! He then looked back at his paper.
"U-Um why don't ye go first? I-If ye don't mind..." He seemed to shrink a bit looking more like the confused and anxious 13 year old he was instead of a mature older teenager.
