Ruby observed Saskia's reactions to her. She then decided that it would be far more fun to be kind, playful, and try to make friends with her than to stay with the cold observation. It didn't matter what these two thought of her, so why not have some fun? She could get into it, practice her acting skills or how to make friends.

She smiled and laughed when Saskia joked about Ruby being a celebrity. “I'm sure you are. Would you like my autograph?” she teased, her expression making it obvious that she was just messing around. “Are you interested in Quidditch?” she asked with a thoughtful look, leaning in slightly to show her genuine interest in Saskia's response. “That could be either watching it or playing it,” she clarified.

The Slytherin considered how to respond to Saskia's question. “Sometimes. I wouldn't want to waste the mornings lying in my dormitory when they contain so much valuable time. Coming out here can be beautiful and calming, and I love the crisp morning air. It can also be good for drawing or reading. What about you? Is this more of an unusual occurrence for you?” She spoke at a steady, good pace, enunciating clearly. She paused a bit, especially between the questions so as not to overwhelm the girl.

Saskia and I discussed this (since Isaac is currently inactive) and the conclusion is as follows:

Ruby and Saskia continue to talk and they slowly become more comfortable with each other. By the time they depart for classes, they are on friendly terms and are definitely on their way to becoming friends.
