Siobhan gasped as two spells whizzed passed her and she narrowly avoided them. It seeemed that it was going to be, "lets go after the blind girl" day after all, just as she had suspected before the duel had even started. She could understand it. Blindness was a weakness and if she couldn't see what was being thrown at her, she had a less likely chance of successfully dodging it. However she missed two spells that flew by her except for the last one.

A very well placed jinx hit her square in the chest, sending a painful cracking sensation through her. Siobhan cried out sharply as it hit her. That did not feel good. She found her footing and tried to focus back on the duel. This might be a challenge but it wasn't something she could't handle. Hopefully Vladislav and Sere could handle it as well.

Sere clicked her tongue as her Obscuro missed the target. Jessamine was someone she remembered as a moderator and Ravenclaw's duelling captain back then when Sere was still struggling in her early duelling career. The Ravenclaw was her peer, yet she had already been given such a huge responsibility. She must have been exceptional, so Sere chose to focus on Jessamine in this round. Her theory was correct -more or less- as the ex-captain easily dodged Sere's spell.

Vladislav did quite well with his fire spell, while Siobhan -who was being rained with spells- tried to evade everything and ended up struck with only one spell; a Cracker Jinx, unfortunately. Thank God she still looked pretty fine (pretty and fine) right now. "Well, you guys should know that this friend of mine is tougher than you think." Sere grinned, introducing Siobhan with a proud tone while dodging the radius damage of Mylo's spell.

Speaking of Mylo...

Sere glanced over to the spectator area. She had seen someone waving at her earlier, continued with a cheer for Mylo. ​​"Ah, Maisie." Sere noticed the brown-haired girl just now, gave her a smile, then turning her gaze to Mylo. ​​"You have a supporter there," She told the captain, "...and that was a spectacular opening you gave her." She admitted that.

But that's enough, Sere determined. She had already locked in her action for the next round.

Sunday, October 19, 2025.
Afternoon.

Axyen was excited, this duel was going to be super intense—at least, that was what he was hoping for but apparently he was about to be proven wrong really quickly. First Vladislav had something going on with his spell, he cast absolutely nothing but Axyen could tell he tried. Axyen closed his eyes for a brief moment before turning to Sere who sent a fireball towards Mylo, but either Sere wasn't a great shot or Mylo was just really fast but it didn't hit anybody. "Looks like Mylo doesn't want to get caught on fire again!" Axyen commentated loudly, glad to have something to comment on now.

Axyen watched as Siobhan seemed to prepare to dodge incoming spells, they seemed very focused on the fact and only time would be able to tell if that tactic was smart or effective. Axyen couldn't really tell just from the two previously mentioned exchanges. Hm... Axyen thought to himself, he figured that Siobhan was trying to play the duel safe after getting hit from last round and Axyen was unfortunate enough to have previously been hit by the Cracker Jinx and didn't blame Siobhan for it. He might've done the same thing himself.

So overall, Gryffindor just didn't hit any of the Ravenclaws, but maybe the Ravenclaws would have better luck with their spells? Axyen looked over to the Ravenclaws briefly to see what they had in store for the duel. First, there was Mylo who looked like they were trying to cast something, but similarly to Vladislav, they didn't successfully cast. Two failed casts at once? Is that a bad luck charm? Axyen wondered, similarly to what he did with Vladislav, he chose to not comment on it.

Jessamine attempted to cast the Flipendo spell at Siobhan and thankfully, the spell was successfully cast but Siobhan's focus on trying to dodge attacks seemed to pay off as they successfully were able to dodge the Knockback Jinx! Edward would also attempt to hit Siobhan, but once again the Gryffindor showcase impressive speed. "Wow! Everybody is very fast in this duel! Nobody hit anybody this time!" Axyen said, trying to make the duel sound more exciting than it was at the moment.

"Uh, I am sure we... um..." Axyen did promise that the duel was only going to get more intense, but after this round, he wasn't so sure or as confident anymore. "..." Axyen then finally spoke up after a brief second. "W-well, we all have bad days! I am sure things will pick up... now!"

"Yeah, Mylo doesn't want to. Obviously." Sere let out a long sigh, agreeing with Axyen's statement as Mylo successfully dodged her Incendio Duo. It had been such a long time since she last missed her target two rounds in a row. She wrote some notes in her mind for self-evaluation. But again, despite the factors she could control, the team in front of her was clearly not the easiest; they were worthy opponents.

This time, Vladislav failed to cast his spell, while Siobhan dodged -impressively- here and there. It seemed like she could read the Ravenclaws' plan. "You did a great job," Sere said that together with a nod. Vladislav had already proven his skills in the first round and Siobhan had just shown off her dodging skills. It should be her turn in the next round, shouldn't it?

She hoped so.

Siobhan's body sidestepped quickly, narrowly avoiding the first spell cast her way. It wasn't something that was going to get her a second time -no it wouldn't. It was getting slightly easier to discern when spells where being cast. To do so, weight would shift and the sound of someone's breath near her would adjust just slightly as they prepared to warn her or cast their own spell in retaliation.

Jessamine, Mylo and Edward would not leave this duel without Siobhan understanding more about how their movements felt and reflected back in the limited vision that she posessed. They were a talented team, but Siobhan, Sere, and Vlad where more than capable of holding their own and taking care of their team as well.

A step. Another shift... from the right? No! The left-

Siobhan ducked to the right avoiding a second spell thrown her way as another Knockback was sent at her once again.

The round could have gone a lot worse. Aside from the fact that some of the flames from the Incendio Duo appeared to be more stubborn than he had thought and had decided to show their teeth nobody had gotten hit.

As their teammates had fired their spells at Siobhan though Mylo couldn't help but be amazed at her dodging talent, he was aware of the fact that she had lost part of her vision (how much they weren't sure) but it didn't seem to stop her. In fact she was even better at dodging than him it seemed, maybe afterwards she'd be willing to give them some pointers. Although they were on different teams, so she might not, it couldn't hurt to ask though.

Their admiration had been too much of a distraction though, as casting their own spell seemed a challenge, the magic not wanting to leave the tip of his wand. At least it gave him time to see the spell aimed at him in time to dodge it.

Turning their attention back on the duellists across from them they got ready for the next onslaught of spells, or whatever would be aimed towards him or his teammates.
