A Seaside Romance
Disclaimer: This story idea came from a drama scene I did with my drama class this year. It might feel short, due to the fact that the original story is a drama scene of roughly 2-5 minutes.

Tyla's P.O.V. (written in first person)
It's been three years since I graduated from high school, specifically Royal High. I'm attending university and I'm still together with my high school boyfriend, Michael. However, I have a secret surprise planned for him later in the week, on our anniversary. I'm thinking about proposing to him; however, I need someone to look after the ring box, so he won't find it. I know for sure that if I tried to hide it at home, he'd definitely find it.
One day before I'm going to propose to Michael, I decide to head to the beach. I was thinking about doing a beach proposal anyway, since both Michael and I love the beach. To me, the beach was always a way for me to calm down and clear my thoughts, which always made me wonder, am I possibly a child of Poseidon, but am attending Royal High instead of Camp Half-Blood? I mean, anything could be possible, but I doubted I'm a child of Poseidon. Plus, if I were a child of Poseidon, I would've been taken to camp a long time ago. So, I guess, I just love the ocean, or rather, the water a bit too much, which would make my thoughts think that impossibility.

A Seaside Romance
Nat's P.O.V. (written in third person)Chapter one: Drowning
It was an awfully boring day at the beach for the current lifeguard on duty. Nothing exciting was happening, which made the man both disappointed and bored. He wanted to save someone or to do something fun. But it appeared that that wouldn't be happening today. There he sat, on his lifeguard chair, overlooking the ocean. It was a very hot day, and while there were many people out on the beach, no one needed help. Nat looked at his watch and said aloud,
"I'm so sweaty. I feel like I'm burning. My shift ends in five minutes! Nothing ever happens here!"
It was as if a miracle had happened! Well, actually, it was someone screaming. Since it appears that someone was drowning. Nat jumped off his chair and took the rope and a buoy, knowing he'd need one or the other to save this person. However, when he got to the ocean, he didn't see the drowning person anywhere.
"Oh no, who's drowning? Where are you!?" Nat yelled out into the water. "UGHH! I'm right here!" A female voice said from behind him. Nat spun around and gasped before saying, "I'll save you!" He then threw the rope to the woman, and once she grabbed on, he pulled her out of the water and onto the beach.
