Your RPG storyline idea: Geneva is Muggle-born, and I'm looking for a rather pompous pure-blood to be her rival. Specifically, this person makes a scathing comment about her or someone else, or just Muggle-borns in general, and Geneva gets defensive and an argument breaks out. As the characters get older, I'd be interested in developing the rivalry, or maybe even turning it into a friendship once both of them mature and have some character development.

Storyline idea : Pericles stops running from his fear of commitment romance
ReducioPeri's only frame of reference for romance has been his parents, who are devoted to the point of obsession. Intimidated by the concept, rather than realizing there might be other types of love languages, he's elected to avoid the dating game entirely. A long-term (seemingly) unrequited infatuation has him questioning his isolationist streak. Trying to sort through his feelings, he takes a chance on a ship meant to sink. This can end for any number of reasons. Pear loves "too quietly" and "lacks muchness", he hyperfixates on self-made assignments and has an unresolved crush on a best friend. yc knows he's trying to fit the boyfriend role, but this is starting to feel like one of Pericles' fleeting experiments.
Orientation? I've confidently pinned Peri as demiromantic, gender isn't an important part of this plot, though he's more drawn to femininity or neutrality than masculinity.
Personality? Because of his pureblood upbringing, Peri's style, mannerisms, and overall aesthetic are on the antiquated side. He won't mesh as well with someone fully modernized, but that could work for us ooc and play into why they don't last. If his partner is a pureblood, he's actively trying to distance himself from politics, so this could work in the inverse too!
Timeframe? to line up with ongoing plots, this would have to take place between December '24 - Aug '25, doesn't have to be that full timeline but can't start or last outside of those dates. Best case scenario, they admit to their incompatibility and agree to stay friends, having grown from the experience together. Worst case scenario dramatic blowout and long-term tension
Subplots:
• Strong preference for Hogwarts students, since they'll be around each other more often and have more plot potential, but might consider an iNPC if the chemistry is good.
• He's a pureblood whose family owns a shipping company, pairing with another pureblood could make for nuanced developments, especially if their family has anything to do with merchantry or oceanic travel. Alternatively, he has a lot to learn about muggle life
OOC Preferences:
• I won't write ship plots with anyone under 21. This will be an innocent teen romance, but for my comfort, this boundary is inflexible.
• I totally understand that muse can shift, but because ships can be significant character development, I'm looking for a reliable writing partner that plans on sticking around
• I've had wonky experiences with shipping plots before, open communication is essential. I'll be transparent about what I like/dislike, or if I feel the plot isn't working out, and I ask the same of my rp partners
