»»————————- ♔ ————————-««There was a second of tentative peace where Astrea simply tried to ignore all that was occurring around her, breathing in the gentle curls of white steam still slowly steaming with warmth. Unfortunately, it seemed that the peace that previously held the room was utterly broken, for a sudden scream of rage rang in her ears, loud and infuriated with unrestraint, and then a deep voice warning all with authoritative disappointment. It reminded her of- of thrown glass and fleeing the confines of the manor for the fields, of the breaking point of her governesses, of last week at the S.W.A.G game. She ground her teeth together with an audible sound, though it was drowned out the fast-paced events of the gathered group.
Things were on its way to settling down- Good god, the professor hadn't even arrived yet, what was taking so long to walk to the Small Hall from wherever in the grounds? A flying professor no less, it would have taken at least 10 to 20 minutes to drop by.
Incorrect, having the professor return to her in a foul mood would certainly ruin any impressions of her, and perhaps the family teachings as a whole. Astrea took a sip of her tea as she forcibly relaxed her shoulders, back straight as ever in an ingrained habit. The more she focused on it, the more she realised that it was easier than expected to untangle the thoughts in her, a gentle calm settling over her like a thick blanket as she set her cup down delicately.
What- If she hadn’t been overwhelmed by the sense of calm comfort that filled her, Astrea would have probably been very alarmed. Yet the feeling hadn’t been as present when she was walking over, only until she had walked inside and sat down- even then it was not this potent. Astrea’s gaze drifted over to land on the boy who had walked by, watching the other with realisation as the boy oversaw the chaos. The boy had an aura to him, much like the one the Bloodlines are to have been described by others and much like the one she Carrie herself- yet the exact opposite. She felt at peace. Hm.
“I’m Dale by the way.” Dale lifted one hand up briefly before setting it down, as if a lazy wave, or perhaps a mere gesture that held no meaning other than simply moving.
”Astrea, pleased to meet you.” Neutral, though a hint of warmth juxtaposed the impersonal words. Simple, nice enough. She would let the other carry on a conversation, let the unknown be known.
“You’re also from Slytherin right? Cause if you are not... this would be awkward.”
The aristocrat let herself a light hum of amusement at the other’s words, the sheepishly genuine question plain against the complexities of the Tea Party’s commotion. “Do not worry, I am. The house of snake rang victorious last, didn’t we?” While a question, Astrea knew the answer for a fact. It would have been hard not to know, considering how many points the house had earned. But it would be her olive branch, a raised hand to conversation.

Valentine's Tea
Realizing what she had done, Mildred quietly gasped, Perhaps her voice was a tad louder then she wanted it to be, she'd never been good at using her "inside voice" or "outside voice" they all seemed the same to her. Mildred felt guilty as she didn't know exactly what came over her, she felt bad for shocking the poor girl and making her drop her biscuits, she'd have to perhaps get some new ones for her. It was also a great relief to Mildred as her fellow puff also seemed to have caught on onto the idea, and started to beckoning the girl towards them, it made Mildred happy as the young girl started walking towards their table, with both of them seated she started feeling quite nervous, she could feel her heartbeat racing along with her palms getting sweaty, she placed her hands on her lap and tried to play it cool, although Mildred became more nervous as the seconds passed, what if she ruined her entire school career right here? what if she accidentally said something she didn't mean too? Her entire act of remaining calm started to fade.Interacting with @Sola Haze and @Teiki Laurent
Without realizing it, someone said something. Mildred struggled for a moment to realize who said what, and what they said, coming back from her senses she saw that the girl in the pink dress with the bows had introduced herself with
Mildred had never really seen her before at the school, perhaps they were in a different year? she wasn't sure, still, out of it Mildred said, "It's nice to meet you Sola! I've never really seen you before? what year are you in? and what house are you in?" she started getting more nervous, "ah! of course, you don't have to answer that if you don't want too of course, but ah! of course, if you do want to please go right ahead." Mildred completely stumbled over her words and blushed a deep shade of red, she wished that the whole mess of this pink room would swallow her whole., "H-hi," she said. "I'm... I'm Sola."
The fellow puff also introduced herself,
Mildred considered this a saving grace, and hope they both would ignore her mess of a response before. Mildred tried to calm down and replied much slower this time with, "I've never been to an errand before! do they always get this crowded? and with how pink the room is, I thought that it wouldn't be this crowded" heavens know, if it were not for the points she would have ran out of the small hall the moment she stepped in, Mildred paused for a second to breathe deeply, trying to calm herself, she spoke again "and, it's nice to meet you Teiki" she looked at Sola and asked, "Have you been to an errand before?""Hello! I'm Teiki. Nice to meet you. Say, I didn't expect it to be so popular."

Valentine's Tea
(Open for interactions)
First year Ginevra "Ginny" Tsuchiya entered the Small Hall and was totally taken aback. She had realised all along that the room would be decorated in mostly pink because - of course, who would not know? - Professor Bercegeay's tea party was held to celebrate this year's Valentine's Day, but... "Isn't it too pink?" Ginny commented. However, she said it in her head only, so no one heard it but herself. Ginny loved the colour rose (or "soft pink", as some people preferred to call it), but really, she thought the room could use more white and even red; for her, it looked as if somebody had thrown cotton candy all over the Small Hall.
Shrugging, the Hufflepuff smoothed her white, knee-length dress and tried to find an empty table - preferably one in a corner. She knew that some people she did not know might consider her arrogant by doing it, but the truth was, the girl was both shy and nervous. Plus, this was her first time to attend a Valentine's Day celebration (yes, seriously).
Ginny glanced around to find a student she might know, and she spotted fellow Hufflepuff @Teiki Laurent all right; but the girl was talking to two other students, and Ginny decided that she would approach them perhaps later. At least not now.
The reason she came was that she had heard Professor @Olphie Bercegeay liked to pair students. Maybe it was or it was not a strange reason to come, but Ginny supposed that it would be easier for her to make new friends under a "forced" condition. She was not really good at this kind of thing...
Finding the table she wanted, the blonde sat. Brushing her hair - which she let down instead of putting into braids or pigtails tonight - back, she suddenly remember that one time her Muggle cousin took her to his YM-YWCA meeting: "A disaster!" he announced displeasedly to Grandma once the two were back. "Ginny talked to nobody, nobody talked to her!"
Ah, think nothing of that, Ginny told herself now. Everything should be all right... Professor Bercegeay will partner her with another student and she would try to strike a conversation with him.

Valentine's Tea
Interacting with @Quinn Healy, @Jake Morris, @Persephone Barret and @Jack BurnettAbilities : Lovely Creature"There ye go Nico. Should be better though they might be a little big on ye."
Before she could realise what hapepend, Quinn had gently put his Valentine themed sunglasses on her nose. What bliss did she fell. The once bright light that her eyes had to endure, was now a regular pink room. She could almost cry. The sunglasses would've been perfect if they hadn't been made to fit the big head of a tall boy like him. She wouldn't complain. It was a temporary gift that she would cherish.
'Oh! T-Thank you. This is alot better..' A soft smile, sliding upon her lips. But the once bright shining giant was not a sun anymore. He too had heard the cold scream of the Gryffindor girl. Through the heartshaped glasses, Nico watched Quinn. At first she had thought he'd shrug it off and sigh with one of his optimistic remarks. 'Sounds like a bad time, let's fix that, shall we?' Something like that. But no.
That scream of pure agony triggerd something. The little dhampir wasn't sure.
His bodylanguage revealed some truth about why and how. Since his body was much larger in mass compared to nearly every student here, his movements were less subtle and more clear to the eye.
What's wrong? You okey? was all she could think and wish she could ask. The hint of sadness she could notice from not only his eyes, but the way he talked, made her stand up from her seat. As Quinn made his way over to the commotion Nico quickly looked over to Jake. 'I-I'm sorry. There's something we need to take care of. Hopefully it won't be long.' The redhead flashed him a bright smile. No need to worry more people than necesarry. 'I'll be back.'
And with that, she chased down Quinn. Quickly catching up on him, staying by his side. Whatever had been going on, escalated in another victim. Or ... nearly another one.
'Q-Quinn?' Her words didn't come through him. His once soft expression had become stark and cold. The same expression he once had at the Library. Yet... now he didn't try to hide it. Like a predator he had his eye on the Slytherin girl who was clearly the culprit here.
"This ends here." Cold, just like the clouds in his eyes. A mist that, for now, couldn't be pierced with sunlight. Once more, he fast paced until right behind Persephone, the tea pourer. Nico couldn't help but feel a wave of panic as his quick footwork reminded her of Hugh going mad at the latest ball. This time she wouldn't leave her friends side for one second. Like glue, she kept up with him, ending up once more right beside him.
As a reflex she gently held onto his shirt. Why? She had no idea why. How would she ever be able to stop a raging Giant if it ever came to it. No clue. But just gently pinching the fabric of his shirt, while trying to make eyecontact with him -- she wanted to reassure him that she was around.
And there they were, face to face with Persephone Barret. A First Year. Up close it became clear to the Slytherin Prefect. Persephone didn't seem to feel sorry for her actions as she attacked another student. This time a fellow Slytherin. What was his name again... Jack? If she remembered correctly, they once encountered one another in the Great Hall when... the dhampir had a bad day.
Quinn was giving Persephone a hard time and honestly, Nico wished the First Year would just apologise and get this over with. How is it possible that at any event - someone always finds a way to stirr things up. Leaving Quinn to do the intimidating, Nico carefully shuffled over to his other side, still one hand holding onto his shirt. Her nails occasionally rubbed against his side. A reminder for the Half-Giant that she was near.
Her iceblue eyes glanced over at Jack, who had just been pushed by, you guessed it, Persephone. This girl was out for war. But for what reason? Apparantly Jack had a pretty good idea of what it could be. Attention, affection and connection. Hurting people just for that?
Knowing they probably wouldn't take her serious wearing Quinns heartshaped sunglasses, Nico carefully put them on her head. 'Ah.. heck..' Her poor blue eyes squinted as the bright pink light stabbed her vision once more. It hurt really bad. A few small tears trinkled down her cheeks.
She gave Jack a meaningfull nod, acknowledging what he just said before turning to Persephone.
This was tricky. 'Persephone.. Barret, right? I haven't seen you around much. I'm Nico. It's nice to meet you.' Her eyes still slightly stinging, a warm, genuine smile curved on her lips. If being angry and agressive wasn't the way to treat this girl then the Prefect would try a different approach. Her hand carefully slid of Quinns side as Nico took a few steps closer to the First Year Slytherin. 'If it really is because you want to make friends... That you want to connect with others. This... is probably a way of doing so but... I'm sure you don't actually want to hurt these people, right?' The look in this girls eyes was different.. almost abit cloudy like Quinns. Something was off. But what?
'When I first got here, in Hogwarts, I was scared and didn't know anyone. I didn't know what Hogwarts or wizardy was until I received that letter. I- I have been picked on... for reasons and it shaped me in a way that made me feel scared of others. I had no clue what to do. You, you confronted them straight on with pain. I, however, hid myself. At the Great Lake mostly.'
Was she rambling? Was this making any sense? It scared her. And yet, she kept up her best welcoming smile. 'What... I'm trying to say is... Pain isn't the only way to get to know others. Of course, I have no idea what you've been through.. Do.. you want to share with me what happened?' Her iceblue eyes, yet slightly red because of the neverending pain the pink light brought, gazed into Persephones. 'If you don't feel comfortable saying it here..' Nico turned her head to everyone who listened in on what was happening before looking once more at the First Year. '.. I don't mind talking to you in private.'
She finished her little preach by slightly tilting her head to the side. Emphasizing that she meant what she said. Every word.
You're gonna need a bigger boat

The girl Alan was sitting at the tables with, was still on about there being love potion in the tea and mentioned, that some potions could take longer to react or take effect. While that was not wrong generally, it usually was not the case when it came to love potions, so Alan lightly shook his head at the other girl, "L-love potions usually have an instant effect... because they are supposed to m-make you fall for the first person you see a-a-after the consumption...", he corrected the girl with a soft voice, unsure whether it was okay for him to just correct her. Some people could react really sensitive about not being correct about something and he did not want to step on any toes and make her mad about it.
The third year was relieved, when Opeila admitted that she was just teasing him about the date thing. Alan had no idea why anyone would bring someone here for a date in the first place and thought that the majority of students simply seemed to young to worry about such things anyway. It sounded boring and like something that adults do to distract themselves from the even more boring responsibilities they had. The only professor who was making a fuss about Valentine's Day was the Flying professor and the older students. Alan had seen some of the older students with cards, but surprisingly even younger students seemed to be running around with sweets and Valentine's Day cards that they intended to give to someone else. Alan was no one to judge, but he also never fell in love before, so maybe that is why he did not think this drama was so necessary.
Before they could continue their chat, a scream filled the air, loud and high-pitched it made Alan cringe at the assault of his ears, as he tried to locate the source of the scream. Soon he, or rather Opeila located the source and instantly got up from her seat to walk over. Another boy seemed to be there already, the same Alan had earlier noticed; a big fedora tipped into his face with shades that hid his eyes, however the young Gryffindor caught a peek at the unique hazel color. Said boy, who had seemed to took control over solving the issue for now, tried to figure out what happened and to get the girl who had been at fault for all the mess, to stop. Alan had no idea what was happening, when he glanced at said girl, who was holding a napkin in her hand and seemed to be grinning ever so slightly; what did she do? Another girl had gotten up from her seat, attempting to leave the scene and Alan caught her drenched in what appeared to be water, that left angry red marks on the pale skin. This was enough for Alan to someone put the pieces of the puzzle together, as he furrowed his eyes.
But before he could pay more attention to the drama that was happening like a table next to them, Ruka spoke to him again and Alan had to pull his focus away from the situation behind them with all his might. His min was all over the place and his head was spinning with thoughts, worries and the accusations that were thrown around in the room. Too much. Alan nodded at the other boy, as he forced a smile to appear on his face, while he slightly held his hand in front of his eyes; seemingly to hide them from view. He did not press the hand in front of his eyes, but held it a couple centimeters away, peeking through the spaces between his fingers, his palm facing his way. Multiple colors seemed to swim in his iris, mainly a bright yellow clashing with a danger radiating red. It was so close to the golden glimmer his eyes would take on when truly happy, but so very different and alienating, that Alan hated the color. So close yet different to his house colors, the signal meant the exact opposite then what his house stood for. Alan felt panic, scared and just wanted the mess to be over. "Y-yeah..", he whispered, stumbling over the only syllable this word had, but he had to reply and pretend he was okay. Concentrate.
Alan was focused to slow down, to think and collect his thoughts, when he closed his eyes and counted to ten, in a quiet and inaudible murmur... at least inaudible for human ears, as he opened his eyes again, they were back to their natural green, with only specks of a bright yellow dancing inside them, as he glanced over to the other Gryffindor at the table with a crooked smile. By the time he had taken away the hand from his face, he saw someone familiar approach them at the table, followed by another student, that Alan had yet to talk to. Both of them greeted them, yet his mind was occupied, jumping from one thought to another and never really giving him enough time to follow his current thought process, the third year, could only wish for the situation to calm down. Therefore he only gave both of them a awkward nod and smile, wondering how they could stay this calm in such a situation... What was wrong with all this, why did it have to come to this? Sure that the errand had been weird in the first place, especially with the amount of pink that drenched the place, but Alan would have never assumed it would come to this... this utter chaos.
""Wha-", he was shocked when the angry girl suddenly cam to their table, knocking the cup of tea out of Ruka's hand and causing the remnants of the cup to spill over him. It was quite a shock, mostly just the feeling of water that luckily had cooled down to a bearable temperature. It was not even that much anymore and Alan silently thanked the boy for having drunk the tea without worry about it being poisoned. But he was not given much time to react anymore, as he watched in horror as the girl pushed Ruka's head against the table rather violently. It was even too late for the hero with the fedora to step in, he too caught some of the beverage that spilled from Ruka's teacup and it looked like he attempted to protect the boy sitting next to him.
With a trembling voice, Alan leaned over to Ruka, the specks of yellow in Alan's own eyes threatening to widen again, but Alan took the last shred of concentration and focus left in him to keep his eyes in their normal vibrant green. "A-are you okay, R-ruka?", he asked, concern visible in his features as he leaned over to the clearly younger and so much smaller boy. Alan blocked out the noise from Quinn and Nico, who were trying to lecture the girl who was at fault for all this, a girl Alan has never met before and he secretly hoped this was the last time he would have to meet her like this too. What was she even thinking? Alan looked up at the fedora-kid helplessly, as he hoped that he could answer him a question, since he was the only one who seemed to know her by name. "Why would she do that?", before he looked over to the smaller lion again, "Are you in pain? O-or feeling dizzy? W-we need to get you to the Hospital Wing... just in case!", he stammered, trying to regain his countenance.Outfit

Valentine's Tea
Jake couldn't believe it - this girl, Nico - actually liked Freddie. And Quinn did too...They hadn't made fun of him at all! He thought about what Quinn said...should he really not be ashamed of him after all? He was about to explain to Nico (or try) about how he had come because he had heard there was a tea party, and hadn't known there would be quite so many people when suddenly a commotion began.
Jake didn't know what was going on exactly. But suddenly Quinn was up, and Nico to follow him. There was shouting and screaming, and Jake's blood ran cold. He thought of fire...he thought of the last time there had been a holiday gathering....was it going to happen again??
He wanted to call out to Quinn and Nico not to go - not to leave him...but his voice didn't work and they were gone. And as the sounds of kids fighting filled the room, Jake did the only thing he could and slipped under the table, hugging Freddie tightly and closing his eyes, curled up and hidden away from any commotion. He would stay there without moving until it was safe. Stay there and try not to let the fear get the better of him. Stay there and try not to cry.

Valentine's Tea
@Katrina Walker & @Victor Moore
”I wouldn’t say that we got in trouble, per say...” Piérre steeped his tea a little more, still not daring to look up at the kid from the office. ”But we did run into a prefect. I think it was the new girl... Miss Alpaca? Appalachian? I dunno... the one with the kitty.” Piérre couldn’t help but smile as Katrina assumed that he had gotten in trouble almost instantly. He wouldn’t deny that that wasn’t the case, for the situation was rather similar to something of mischief, what with the probably stealing and the hallway chase that had taken place.
Katrina agreed to go with Piérre to talk to the fellow, and suddenly it hit Piérre that this was part of his job that he had decided upon in the Liberation meetings! A mouse! He was supposed to be an individual who got around and learnt in tidbits of rumor and fact alike, and then sorted it out for other people. The kid had seemed pretty on edge on both occasions, in the he office, having pushed away the young Gryffindor to run away, and even now, hanging on the edges of the party instead of jumping in with gusto.
Maybe he was shy... or maybe there was something that haunted him. Either way, he needed to be cheered up!
”Okay Kat. Let’s go. But, I should probably say that we should be gentle.”
Piérre felt a tug at his heart as he remembered the blatant fear that had glittered in the kid’s eyes when he had run into Piérre and the prefect. ”He seems a little shy... and the last time I met him, he was pretty scared of me... It was almost like he thought I was a threat or was gonna beat him up.” Piérre couldn’t stop berating himself now. What in the world could had he done wrong to be an object of fear or of abhorrence? He just wanted others to smile and be happy, and to become an item of fear or terror destroyed his very meaning.
With the warning in place, Piérre would carefully walk through the crowds, doing his best to ignore the screams and chaos that was inevitably beginning to unfold, and he would smile cheerfully as he came face to face with the boy from the office. With a relaxed wave, Piérre would greet him peaceably and with a quiet, demure voice. ”Hi again! Um... good to see you. You doing alright? I’m Piérre, and this is Katrina.” He would indicate to the second year Gryffindor as he spoke, rocking back and forth as he readjusted his balance.

Valentine's Tea
Quick as ever, Ethen friend was gathering an absurd bundle of napkins to help him clean up the mess he had already started to create. With an awkward smile, Ethen nodded his thanks to the blonde girl and snatched a couple napkins to start and wipe himself down. "Thanks Atlas... I can't believe I ruined my clean pants already," he grumbled as he vigorously scrubbed at the tea. He already knew that it wouldn't get rid of it all but it was a start.Open to Interactions

As Atlas began to tease him about being there and being a walking bowling ball of mistakes, Ethen narrowed his eyes at the girl. Frowning as she rustled his hair and accused him of looking for a girlfriend, Ethen recoiled at the notion. "No! Don't be gross... For your information, I just ended up in this weird pink room looking for snacks," Ethen assured her as he placed a dramatic hand on his empty belly. Growning with his hungry anguish, Ethen tilted his head back towards the ceiling as he considered his continually failing quest for food.
Leveling his eyes back on his friend, he suddenly had a spark of curiosity. "What are you doing here anyways? Maybe its you looking for a boyfriend! Like they would ever want to have a rice monkey like you around all the time," he teased nudging the girl with his shoulder still not entirely sure what he was doing there.

Sola was a bit taken aback by the question and the bluntness of it. "Oh, um... I'm First Year like you," she said. "I mean... if you're a First Year. I can't really tell." She didn't like to make assumptions.@Mildred Wilson and @Teiki Laurent
Her House... she was a bit more hesitant to answer that. But the girl seemed even more nervous than she was, so she relented. "I'd love to say I'm in Hufflepuff, but you could probably figure out quite easily that that's a lie." She sheepishly rubbed the back of her neck, ruffling her hair slightly. "I was actually... um... sorted into Slytherin," she admitted with a blush colouring her cheeks as pink as the tea in her hands. Come to think of it, she'd never actually noticed even the tea in the pink cup was pink as well. A nice touch, she thought sarcastically.
She shook her head at the next question. "No, I've never really been to any of them. I'm not really in-the-loop yet, so I usually don't hear about these things until they happen." Sure, her Dormitory had a message board, but rarely did anyone write news on there. It was mostly gossip and compliments to the other girls.

Valentine's Tea

♠ Interacting With Violine ♠
♦ Observing the Tea Aftermath ♦
@Violine Thomas

"Nervous? That is understandable." truthfully, she could not understand how someone could give a wrong name, be it a result of nervousness, or something else. Maybe the little ginger, sitting across from her had something to hide? Was the child even telling the truth now? Was her name even Violine? Who knew? Names weren't particularly important anyway. Really, they were just an easier way to address people, and things.
Besides names were constantly changing things. The lioness then entertained the idea, that maybe Violine liked to change her name often. Perhaps yesterday she was Eliza, and today she decided that she wanted to be Violine. It would be really weird if that was the case with the little ginger. But who was Xailah to determine what was weird, and what wasn't?
Xailah took the teapot up in her hands, the motion was natural, she had obviously done this many times before. The Gryffindor would raise a thin eyebrow at Violine. The child was awfully indecisive. First she couldn't decide her name, and now she couldn't decide if she wanted tea or not? Xailah was beginning to question if the childs behavior was actually the result of claustrophobia.
Perhaps she was scaring the child? Was she really that scary? It wasn't like Xailah had a terrible presence, or anything, yet she had tenancy to scare people more, than her peers with an actual terrible presence did. Xailah had always come to the conclusion that people were put-off, simply because she was in fact different. But taking recent events into consideration, she wondered if there was more to it than just that.
"I understand-" Her dainty gloved fingers, reached out for a teacup. "Will your friends be arriving soon?" She questioned. It wasn't a particularly important question, or one she was really interested in hearing the answer to. It was more like the question you get asked at the dentist, like: "Oh, whats your birthday?" or "How was your day?". Like, sorry to break it you you, but the dentist doesn't actually care about your day, they just want to lessen the chances of kids chomping on their fingers.
The Gryffindor would begin pouring the tea with precision. The warm liquid would send the faint scents of spices, wafting through the air. "Its fine I sssuppose." She said in reference to Violines inquiries about the little gathering. "I guess I came for the tea. I didn't get the memo about this event." The Gryffindor didn't really pay any attention to the occasional posters that got posted around the school, hence her lack of knowledge on the event and its true intentions. "I have never seen so much pink in my life. Isn't it hideous?" She added in agreement, to the gingers comment about the seating arrangements being painful to look at.
A little flicker of gold, would search for the flying professor again. She didn't exactly want the woman to hear her bash on her choice of decor. "Give it a few minutes, someone will start something." This was said, as if it was a normal occurrence at events like this. It was a regular occurrence unfortunately. "Here you go, careful, its hot." The prefect would place a saucer in front of the girl, along with the teacup.
Schrödinger, would take notice that his human was giving this strange red-haired creature something, and not him. What was this? Was this betrayal? His tummy gurgled, as he continued to stare at the little human. Xailah had begun pouring a cup of tea for herself, when a scream echoed through the small space. It caused the lioness to jump, resulting in the tea missing her cup, and getting on the table. There it was, theres the drama everyone was waiting for.
"Ouch. What the hell?" The brunette winced at the noise. It appeared that some poor girl had gotten tea poured on her. And judging by the expression on the instigators face, it was no accident. That kid looked like she took joy in shaking bags of little goldfish, and watching them go belly up. It was unsurprising, considering there were several kids at the school that were like that.
The Gryffindor never understood why some of her peers took pleasure in harming things that were practically defenseless- over time, she had come to the conclusion that their parents probably didn't love them enough when they were babies. Xailah shot the girl she was sitting with, an apologetic look, when Aurelia called out. "I'm on it." She rolled her eyes. "Apologies. Would you mind keeping an eye on Schrödinger for me?"
She gestured to the lump of grey matter on the table. The cat trilled at the sound of his name. Xailah would not wait for the girl to respond, leaving her with the feline. Schrödinger cooed, looking up at the small red-human. He sniffed the air, and sneezed. He was messing with the girl. He looked very non-threatening, and was practically harmless. His eyes followed her, and if she moved at all, he would get up- to stretch. Each time, he looked as if he was inching closer and closer. Have fun.
Xailah had taken the teapot that was at her table, with her. There was no particular reason for doing so; it was mostly unintentional. It would be very unfortunate if it were to accidentally slip out of her hands, and fall onto the blonde. Xailah wouldn't intervene, for now. Most of the prefects seemed to have the situation under control. Well, kind of. There wasn't really much to control in the first place. The little blonde girl was quite the brat. Xailah couldn't help but wonder if this kid actually had a skull as thick as a bludger, or if she was trying to bait the Hufflepuff prefect.

Before me, you rightly tremble. But, fear is not what you owe me. You owe me awe....
