Backstory
Samuel “Sammy” Wade Barnes was born on the 6th of August, in Portree, Scotland to a muggle farmer and a witch of whom belonged to the house of Hufflepuff. Growing up in the countryside, mainly surrounded by other farms belonging to muggles, he was not exposed to much magic, unless they visited his mother's family.
He’s a shy child, and isn’t the best at socializing. As a result he didn’t make many friends in his traditional school years. Him having so few friends, as well as being separated from his best friend when he was seven, has led to him having both dependency and jealousy issues.
At the age of seven he had his first instance of accidental magic. One day in the middle of summer while playing with his best friend Johnathan near their favorite tree (it had a single swing that they would take turns on), Johnathan confessed that his family would be moving away at the end of summer. Sammy’s heart shattered; one of his few friends, his best friend of all people, would be leaving him. When it started getting dark and the children had to go home, Sammy went to the sheep pen, his safe place of sorts. The sheep were drawn to the child, as he was in a surprising state of disarray. As Sammy pet a sheep he happened to notice something out of the corner of his teary eyes. He had somehow made an entire scarf. He wiped the tears away and brought this newfound discovery into the house. After telling his mother, she just smiled, and told him everything. The rest of that summer Sammy spent playing with Johnathan and learning to knit. At the end, before Johnathan left Sammy gave him a gift. A matching scarf and beanie set, Johnathan getting the scarf Sam had made magically. Him and Johnathan write to each other, and after getting phones they started texting. To this day they are still best friends.
