The sharp autumn air bit at his but Prat hardly noticed it. Thrill of the situation far outweighing the chills as the boy entered his first official match as a Quidditch Caption. And not just any game, but a Gryffindor v Hufflepuff. Clash of Pride and Bravery with Persistence and Passion. Two houses he both liked and resented in equal measure.
Soaring upwards on his gleaming Coment 180, his robes caught the wind like a flag does. From above, the stands roared with an infectious energy, colors of gold and red blurring together in a frenzy of excited students raring for the game to go.
"Welcome, everyone," his voice rang out, magically amplified and confident, smooth as if he'd done this all his life. "To the grand opening of this year's Hogwarts Quidditch Seaon! Today, we have the valiant Hufflepuffs facing off against the ever-spirited Gryffinodrs. Two Houses whose accolades promise nothing short of spectacle!"
Leaning forward on his broom, he lifted the Quaffle for all to see. "Now then," he said, voice dipping into that steady and deliberate cadence. "Let us waste no time, May this match be worthy of the giants all your fanboys claim you to be."
With that, the Viridan Captain dropped the Quaffle, chaos ensued.

It was that time again. A new year brought new opportunities for the Gryffindor Quidditch team to finally excel after the terrible defeat last year in their final game. That game had been Avery's first and she'd loved it. The thrill of the match and the chance to play at the very end strengthened her and motivated her to keep going.
This time they were playing Hufflepuff. Avery had heard that they were good the year before, but she'd never seen them play. Though she was about to find out how well they actually played as the game was starting very soon. Sooner than later.
Taking her seat on the bench, Avery's leg bounced up and down in nervous excitement. She was ready to help lead her team to victory if the time came, but she wouldn't mind if she didn't play. There was always another chance for her even if she didn't play that day's game.

Derek took a deep breath. It was his first Quidditch match ever, and he wanted it to be a good one.
The Hufflepuff's were playing them, and since they were an unknown medium, Derek had to be extra alert. He had heard they were good, but he had no idea how good, so he tread with caution.
Derek grabbed his Comet 180, feeling its weathered bark, mounted it. Game on.

First match of the year god it felt good to be back out on the pitch. Kora had played before last year but they lost the last match of the year a downer but then again this was a new year and a new chance for the mighty lions to win.
Kora was a keeper that job was one she found joy in but it didn’t stop the flutter of nervous energy that coursed through her as she took her position. She took a breath taking in the crisp air letting her mind go quiet as she focused on what was to come in todays match

Chaser's Interception: When a Quaffle is being passed by the opponent team, users with this ability automatically get a 10% chance to intercept the quaffle as long as the user is taking a quaffle-related action during that quidditch round. Note: a quaffle cannot be intercepted twice in one quaffle round (there are five quaffle rounds in one quidditch round).

The Quidditch season finally began. And playing Quidditch in front of an audience again was a feeling beyond words. The fun, excitement, and action were all so wonderfully combined that it felt like a thrill to the core. Alliasta entered the field with her broomstick at her side, her head held high. She wasn't just looking to win. She wanted to play well, but winning would certainly be more fun and exciting.

Post-lunch matches had one major flaw, and that was the bloating situation when you overate, combined with the bladder explosion risk when you over-drank, since no toilets existed in midair. Though for growing teenagers, overeating was practically inevitable.
Case in point being Mamori emerging from the locker room in heart-shaped Quidditch goggles and immediately collapsing onto the bench, letting out series of undignified burps while mentally begging wind gods to blow harder and, preferably, dump all the Gryffs into the lake so Hufflepuff could score unopposed. Only when everyone arrived and he counted the bench occupants did he realize someone extra was sitting there.
Then the realization hit him. That extra person was himself. He was starting now, not armchair strategizing anymore, for fuck's sake.
Belatedly grabbing his beloved broom, he kicked off the ground and flew into the sky.xx ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

She took a deep breath to calm her nervousness. As she looked around, she saw that the stands were filled with cheering for Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs. She didn’t have time to search for familiar faces. Their opponents were the Hufflepuffs. She didn’t know much about them, but she hoped with all her heart that her team would win.
Taking a seat on the bench, she was excited about the match and couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. Hopefully, victory.

.The Quidditch season was about to officially begin. Frederick was thrilled, as always, but this time even more so, because he was now part of the Gryffindor team. Sure, he wasn’t a starter yet, just the benched Keeper, but that was still incredibly exciting for him. After all, it was only his first year at Hogwarts, and he was already on the team.
As he stepped onto the pitch, making his way toward the reserves’ bench, dressed in his red and gold Quidditch robes, Fred looked up and around. A shiver of excitement ran down his spine as he took in the stands packed with students and professors. The bright colors of Gryffindor and Hufflepuff painted the scene, and for a brief moment, he smiled, slowing his pace as memories of playing and watching Quidditch with his father drifted through his mind.
When he reached the bench, he sat down beside Rosaline, his fellow first-year friend who had joined the team along with him, resting his broom on the grass behind them. “Hey, Rosaline! Excited for the match?” Fred turned to her, barely able to stay still, his gaze constantly shifting between her face and the bustling field. “I don’t want to miss a single second of this.”
For now, excitement outweighed his nerves, but deep down, Fred knew that familiar flicker of anxious anticipation that only came from doing something for the very first time. To help shake off his own nerves, and maybe his teammates’ too, Fred cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted, “Go, Gryffindor!” The match had begun. The Snitch had already vanished from sight, Bludgers were whizzing wildly through the air, and the Quaffle was pulled down by gravity. From the bottom of his heart, Fred hoped his team would do well that day.

First match of the season for Hufflepuff and Landon was pumped. He loved Quidditch, loved flying in general, and he wanted to see their team do well this season. Last year had been disappointing, full of close calls, but never a win, and Landon had high hopes that they would do better this year. Landon knew that this was his last year on the bench too, so he had been practicing hard to get better so that if something happened to Atlas before she graduated, Landon could feel confident in stepping in.
But right now, Landon was just going to sit on the bench, cheer on his team, and enjoy the match.
