Airlia's smile was almost sarcastic like she couldn't believe what she was seeing when she tilted her head like looking at a pippy and said: "I like plenty of fun things. My definition of fun just doesn't include acting like a total slob, driving everyone away from their nice breakfast and throwing oatmeal into people's faces."

She squinted her eyes and shook her head gently, annoyed about being driven into this conversation. She'd been nice when she'd first asked him to learn some manners and he'd brushed her off. That wouldn't fly with her as her request had been entirely reasonable.

"I like snowball fights, playing in the rain and good jokes. But there is a time and a place for fun. And it's not at the breakfast table when people are tired and just want to eat and get to their classes on time." Airlia looked at the tired students around them. A few had already left but others staid and looked on at the argument.

It seemed there were people on both sides, but Airlia already knew she would lose this one. She was at Gryffindor's table after all. And Gryffindors look after their own. At least when there is no better offer or something dangerous or fun to do anywhere... Maybe that's why they forgot each other behind all the time.

And there was no fighting the fact that Hufflepuffs were the most loyal students in school. So Airlia knew that at least they would be on her side.

“Breakfast is the best time for fun.” She really was insane, not using the limited hours in the morning before boring classes was a crime. And, what was more fun then eating. Hogwarts seemed to allow the children to moderate what they ate, and for a young boy like Galton, this was like Christmas, but every morning. Every.

Galton tried not to let his judgment show. He didn’t want to give any cards up in this battle. He didn’t know how diabolical this girl was. He had an idea that she wasn’t very, her actions clearly only being that of someone a bit too nice, even if she was uptight, but he didn’t want to underestimate her. Sometimes they hid it.

While his mind raced his ears caught him up to what he was missing. A seconds lag between hearing the words and them being processed, his mind was just too... too busy.

“...get to their classes on time.”

It hit him like a wall. This feud had made him forget why he had been eating with such vigor this morning. Class. Though he may seem quite all over the place, Galton wasn’t often late. He had a large fear of being late.

He shot up from the table. He did his best to untangle his legs from the bench and table as quickly as possible, flipping the empty bowl of oatmeal in the process.

He turning to leave, forgetting about the demon girl he’d ate with for a moment. After a step he remembered her. “See you next breakfast!” He yelled at her, then raised his thumbs to his temple, spread his hands wide to form antlers, and made the grosses face he could think off, double chin, mouth mode open, eyes gone crossed. A true work of art.

Then he took off.

Airlia sat there staring in a strange daze. She couldn't believe he'd bolted like that.

And made that... That... Face.

She sat there for a moment and just watched him run out of the great hall before just suddenly bursting out giggling.

He'd looked hilarious. And as she'd mentioned she could enjoy a good joke. At least when someone wasn't being too impolite.

The people around her stared like she'd gone bad, but simply her state of mind had switched from angry and grossed out to entertained so fast that it really didn't make any sense to her either. So she sat there giggling so hard her stomach hurt, in disbelief that she'd even started a fight like that. It was not like her to act that way at all.

After a moment she got up, seized her laughter, picked up her books and started walking along the great hall to leave for her first class. She didn't want to be late either and soon she forgot how hungry she was from not eating anything.

She did owe that boy an apology didn't she? How utterly annoying. Maybe she just wouldn't come across him during the next five years and she could avoid doing just that. But the chances were abysmally small and she shook her head with a sigh. In a way, she'd been wrong. And who knows maybe this boy could be taught some manners?

Well, one thing was for sure. There were no boring mornings in Hogwarts.
