Creature Curiosity

The clean morning air was filled with the smell of grass and earth as Sienna went to the Care of Magical Creatures department. She had only heard of the class - stories of animals both lovely and frightening - and that made her so curious that she couldn't help but have a look inside.

After going in through the wooden gate that was curved, she was engulfed with a view full of life. Insects chirping, animals roaring, and birds flapping their wings to the rhythm of nature were the sounds she would hear. There were both pens and open fields with one animal more amazing than the other - the elegant unicorns were eating grass near a place full of wildflowers, the nifflers were happily digging up the shiny things, and the small group of bowtruckles were holding the branches of the nearby tree with their little arms.

Her eyes were shining as she was walking through the area, the movement of her body being both careful, yet she was still excited to be there. Suddenly, her eyes were drawn by a tall one that looked like a creature, standing in a place alone and fenced. The hippogriff was stunning: a mixture of eagle and horse, the feathers had a silver color and were sparkling because of the sun, the two eyes were sharp and smart.

Hippogriffs are supposed to be the most respectful of all animals, but without thinking, Sienna was going closer step by step and very slowly to the point where she could hardly see the boarders. The looking of the animal toward the woman was so strong that it seemed like the next moment it would attack, accompanied by a total stiffening of the body. It wasn’t long before the beast was knocking furiously at the air with its flapping wings, threatening, and preparing for an attack it was backing up hardly with its rear limbs it was high in the air and it was showing the trills it was overwhelming and it was guiding to an impressive escape.

Her chest was shocked with fear of sudden move. She could not be much aware of her surroundings. The paw of her foot she could hardly have noticed it until this moment with the ground under it was uneven and she could be lucky if she didn’t fall but she actually did, it was a heavy fall and she didn’t have enough air in her lungs at that time. For some brief interval, nothing but the incessant thumping of her heart was audible, and the hippogriff's cry was also bouncing back from the forest.
