Alecks turned and looked at the girl with the pink hair, "Hi! I'm Jenna. Jenna Loveland. Sorry- that was weird to say my last name, why did I do that?? Uh-"She paused and Alecks could see her wince at her word choice "Sorry! Just me being the idiot that I am..." He watched as the tears on her face, most likely embarrassed, dry up slowly. "I'm Alecks, Alecksander Power, it's nice to meet you Jenna. Are you a Hufflepuff? It's completely okay if you are, I'm just curious. I'm a Ravenclaw. And trust me, I have never done that, and I probably never will. Way too Gryffindor of me." Alecks chuckles as he looks at Jenna with a caring look. After a second with zero response from Jenna, Alecks' eyes slide down onto the ground and stay there as the toe of his boot dig a small hole that is immediately filled with nervousness and worry. "I really hope didn't make you way too awkward. I tend to do that, especially when I'm around James or Arceus. They just...well...I'm not gonna say anything just becuse I'm sure that I will screw up the wonderful budding relationship, more friendship, that we have growing here. Okay?"

The scene James witnessed was a very strange one. Once James had come into sight of whoever had been screaming, he saw that it was Jenna, and she was running away from the fire that was rapidly swallowing the group of trees on the edge of the forest. James was still a good distance away, but he could tell by Jenna's pink hair that it was her. Then, another girl ran out of the forest towards Jenna, taking out her wand. At first, James thought that maybe Jenna was screaming because that girl was attacking her, and James was about to head into a sprint, before he saw the girl take out her wand and shout out what James assumed was a spell.
"Aqua Eructo!" she shouted. James skidded to a full stop this time and watched with some amazement as a strong gush of water erupted from her wand and doused the fires almost immediately. A great hissing sound met James' ears and the roaring of the flames subsided. James rubbed his eyes, the smokey air starting to sting, as he watched the trees slowly sizzle and waft the leftover smoke into the surrounding air.
James coughed a few times, in order to clear out any smoke that was inside, and saw that the girl had now turned back to Jenna and was talking to her. James continued to approach her at a faster pace. Soon enough, James got close enough to hear what was being said.
“And um, I’m guessing you are in Hufflepuff." the girl said.
Judgemental entered into James’ mind.
Suddenly, the girl looked over in his and the other’s direction.
"Oh is that you little boyfriend over there? Oh I see! You were screaming just so he could come and save you. Oh poor little girl..."
James blanched, immediately unsure if he had heard her correctly. James stopped, now only a few yards from them, looking at the girl who had suddenly taken a nasty turn.
As James stood there, stunned, the girl started walking away, but not before she dropped a piece of paper. James felt Alecks move forward from behind him, remembering he was there, and watched as Alecks started scolding the girl as she walked away.
"Hey Puppet! Stop being such a bully! So what if she is a Hufflepuff? She still has more guts than you, because it takes a lot more to be nice and scared in front of people than to be mean and shut- up in yourself."
Alecks then looks down at the piece of paper the girl dropped.
"Also, you dropped this." he adds angrily, shoving it in her direction as if it was something disgusting and absolutely revolting. James had a slight feeling that it might have been something like that.
James continued to observe in confusion as the girl strode away. He could have sworn she had had a Gryffindor badge… well, that proved his theory that one shouldn’t judge people by their houses… because the way that girl had just acted was the way James had been told all Slytherins would act.
James came back from his thoughts, hearing Alecks say something more, to them this time.
"I'm sorry you saw me like that, I shouldn't have done that." he said.
James shook his head wordlessly, dismissing it, still a little off from what had just happened.
Jenna saved him temporarily from trying to find his words.
"Hi! I'm Jenna. Jenna Loveland. Sorry- that was weird to say my last name, why did I do that?? Uh-"
She paused and cringed at herself. "Sorry! Just me being the idiot that I am..."
James shook his head rapidly.
“No! You’re not an idiot, Jenna! I didn’t hear everything that that girl (Puppet, I guess) told you, but don’t think that!” James paused for a second, now close enough to see her properly.
“Are you okay?” James asked.
As he waited for an answer, however, he heard a strange little noise to his left, coming from inside the forest. The sound was very faint, but he had heard it, nonetheless. James’ attention became directed towards it, and he slowly approached the smoldering ruins of the forest fire. The smell of smoke still hung about the air, and James pulled his shirt over his nose and mouth in order to avoid suffocating. The smoke stung his eyes, but not as bad as it would have had before, because it had faded away a little now. James followed the sound as best he could, not entirely sure what it was. For all he knew, it might be something magical and dangerous, because he was still new to this whole magic world. Despite these thoughts, he went ahead a few feet more with the strange feeling that this sound was a small cry for help.
It was after a moment more, that James nearly stepped on, but didn’t, a small bird of some sort. James knew only because of the shape he saw through the smoke. It had a beak of some sort, and seemed to have the small form of a bird. It could easily fit into the palm of his hand. James gently reached down and scooped it up. It didn’t resist, which surprised James, because all birds he had met in the muggle world flew or ran away when he approached them. James made his way out of the smoke, and released his face from the confines of his shirt, breathing in the fresh air again. He saw that Alecks was talking to Jenna still, and he came over to them and the rest of his friends.
“Hey guys!” he called, trying to get their attention, “I found something in the fire!” James called out.
James held out the small bird in his hands for them all to see, and now that he could see it, he realized that it was the strangest creature he had ever seen. It was bright yellow, or gold, and it had an almost completely round body with only a long, thin beak on it’s tiny head and two golden wings poking out of it.
“Do you guys know what it is?” James asked. “It looks like it’s still breathing.”
And indeed, it was.

P.S. It's a Golden Snidget, for any characters that can identify it... this is where the adventure begins...

Juliana walked back into the forest after getting her crumpled drawing back, she was not so far from the edge. She saw some leftover smoke come into the forest scaring away a fox she tried to draw. Then she got really annoyed and walked out of the forest toward the smoke. She saw the whole group there looking at a bird. Juliana crossed her arms and saw a hint of yellow/gold. Was it a bird? Oh. "Is that a Golden Sniget? Those where used back then for quiddich right? As the golden snich? Hmm... Interesting. I think i know a spell that might heal it a bit... Episkey!" She said pointing her wand at the bird in the boys hand. The bird seemed to get better, even its ashes on it started to fall off... "So uh... What are you guys going to do to it?" Juliana asked as the golden bird stared at the boy holding it. Juliana took out her folder from her bag, she took out a piece of paper and quill from the thick folder. It had many pages sticking out of it but Juliana did not care at all. She started to doodle the bird but, the more she drew the bird the more it looked scary and creepier and then it just ended up being a Giant bird ferociously eating a mouse. Why does this happen to nearly all of her drawings?

Her eyes widened. "Oh my- Is that a- It's a Golden Snidget! But, but, they're so rare!! Bring it closer!" Jenna gasped in amazement. She just couldn't believe it. It was beyond all she could have imagined, seeing one for the first time.

Aurianna was reading a book on a Hogwarts bench beside the peaceful the forest, when her attention was caught by a girl with black hair, calling herself 'Puppet'. 'Puppet' was having a skirmish with a pink-haired chick about something. Since Auri was so far away to the participants of the fight she stood up casually and walked around a tree to get a better view. By now many people were involved with the pink-haired girl. Now that I've seen what she looks like, I know that it was my friend Jenna Loveland, a fellow Hufflepuff. In our dorm, she sleeps next to me and I've talked to her on many occasions. I realized that this conversation had just taken a different turn, where a Ravenclaw boy saved Jenna from a collision of tears.
Aurianna chided herself for not minding her own business when she saw these Hogwarts students politely talking with each other.
Auri almost walked away, when she heard the words spoken by Jenna Loveland, "Oh my- Is that a- It's a Golden Snidget! But, but, they're so rare!! Bring it closer!" A gasp erupted from Jenna. At the same possible moment, Aurianna's instincts made her run to the group of people gathering around Jenna, as fast as possible! A Golden Snidget was on the Hogwarts grounds! It was impossible, it was delirious, it was totally and utterly magical!
Coasting to a stop, Aurianna finally saw the creature. Jenna's pink hair swirled in the wind as she held the beautiful, golden, deformed Golden Snidget!
Aurianna sudennly gasped as she took in the total essence of the broken Snidget.

Cameron came to a sudden stop from running in a circle in the grounds. He wanted to exercise and get some fresh air. Missing jogging around his neighborhood at home, he noticed a girl catch the Golden Snitch. "Good catch." He told her as he smiled, out of breath from the run as he put his hands on his knees, then stretched his arms above his head. Noticing the broken snidget, "How did that happen?" Cameron took out his wand and said the incantation, Reparo!

He moved his wand in a circle and watched as the broken snidget repair itself by the cast. Smiling as the golden snidget moving again at will. The golden snitch moved and was flying again as other students caught sight of it and began the chase in the grounds. Cameron remembering reading the book, Quidditch Through the Ages, was glad to have spotted the snitch. Though not the fastest at catching the shiny golden ball he hoped to one day try out for the Quidditch team. Maybe playing as keeper would do him good. Being in goal of the goal posts sounded like something reasonable for him to do during the active game of Quidditch. He nodded at the girl and then walked away, afraid to start conversation and would rather be alone. A loner like his father he thought about reading a book from the library, entering the covered bridge he made his way towards the castle.

Aurianna was scared to death after seeing the look of the Golden Snidget.
In a flash, she was surrounded by a gaggle of people, who too, was worried about the rare bird.
A commotion of words was said to her and conversed around her, but Auri ignored all of them, all she wanted was for the limp bird to fly out of her hands and back into the wilderness.
Soon after pulling out her magical wand, a bunch of spells rampaged around her thoughts, before she said the easiest one, a stranger ran up beside her and said, "How did that happen?" The boy said his incantation, "Reparo!"
Auri held her breath as a squeak escaped her lips, the Golden Snidget cawed in agony as its wing bent back into its original shape and sewed the bones together.
Relaxing, Aurianna looked in surprise at all of the unfamiliar faces unrecognizable around her. Everyone was looking at her as they tried to figure out who she was, and what she was doing.
Trying to calm down Aurianna gently handled the bird, and carefully took if from Jenna Loveland, ignoring the faces around her.
The group of people followed closely behind her as she wandered toward the lake to wash the charred feathers from the rare bird of mystery.
Jenna Loveland gave Auri a grin and helped her wash the Golden Snidget as the other Hogwarts Wizards/Witches recovered from their awed expressions, and hoped for the best.

James was a little upset that the mysterious bird was repeatedly taken away from him, and dealt with by other people. He was the one who had found it anyway, but inside, he knew there was no really good reason why he was pouting.
James stood by as the last person who grabbed at it washed the bird off in the lake. Her hands worked gently and carefully, caressing the bird in its bath. James began to wonder who this girl was. He stepped around to get a look at her. She had smooth and long chocolate hair, it seemed, and from what James could see, her eyes were blue.
James cleared his throat quietly, about to speak.
"Um, thanks for doing that." James said, indicating to the bird. "Um, may I ask?... What's your name?"
James suddenly wanted to smack himself. Why didn't he start with his own name!?
"Oh, I'm James!" he quickly added, fixing his mistake. "I, uh, found the bird, or, uh, Golden Snitch, I mean, uh, Snidget, I think, back there..." he stuttered, with honestly no idea why he was stuttering so much.
James' legs were starting to feel tired, probably from all the running earlier, so he sat down on the banks of the lake next to the nice girl as he waited for a reply.

The Golden Snidget was carefully and slowly getting cleaned as the smoke residue was beginning to diminish. Aurianna's brown hair and bluish-gray eyes were mesmerized by the beautiful bird.
Soon Aurianna knew that someone was going to ask who she was and draw the bird away from her hands, but for now, Aurianna was happy just to let the creature be. When Aurianna was watching the squabble between 'Puppet' and Jenna, she rememberd this young boy, come up and watch her take the bird and start washing it with Jenna Loveland.
If Auri was to recall, his name was something like James or Jason.
Anywho, that guy was standing beside me and he started to say something in a nervous voice. The 'J' named boy said, "Um, thanks for doing that." He indicating toward the bird. "Um, may I ask?... What's your name?"
Aurianna took a deep breath and was interrupted before she could speak. "Oh, I'm James!" the boy added quickly, fixing his mistake. James continued to say, "I, uh, found the bird, or, uh, Golden Snitch, I mean, uh, Snidget, I think, back there..." he stuttered loudly.
Sighing and probably thinking he was stupid, James sat down quickly beside me and watched my movements as Auri washed the golden, soft, silky bird.
Nervous under the pressure while he was staring at Auri, she began to speak, acknowledging the other people watching in silence.
"Hello, my name is Aurianna Aspen."
"Just call me 'Auri'." Aurianna smiled up at James and handed him the Golden Snidget which was now mended but still flightless.
Aurianna wondered how we were going to hide the bird until it gets better.
Only time will tell.
