Ditto! After two months of living with lazy flatmates I couldn't do it anymore. It cost £50 for a room move but it was worth it!

You sure can get detention if a Prefect catches you breaking IC rules; you can either ask a Prefect/Teacher for detention or let them catch you when doing their forum rounds (I think that's how that works...) And of course you can!
