A morning walk around the lake
It was early in the morning. The sun was still setting and its first rays of light squeaked through the cloudy canvas behind the great lake. Clyde was already up for an hour and had decided to go for a morning walk to see what beauty there was to the lake.
The serenity and silence of the Great Lake in its morning glory was something that appealed to Clyde very much. He used to love taking morning hikes back at home, through the hills and grasslands and meadows of rural Colchester. But now he's not home anymore, he's started his first school year at Hogwarts. It didn't feel like home yet, but Clyde was intelligent enough to realize that that could not be so after just he only just spend his first night at Hogwarts. It would take some time, but the sight of this natural beauty that the lake had to offer would sure help.
While thinking of his first night at Hogwarts, he looked up, gazing at the castle with its enormous amount of little towers, roofs, arches and windows in all kinds of shapes and sizes. It took him a while to find 'his' window. Yesterday, when he entered his dormitory for the first time, he was able to claim this perfect bunk bed, right next to a window that overlooked the Great Lake that he was now circling in his hike.
Time to head back. Clyde's fellow classmates probably woke up right about now too.
Clyde's stomach grumbles. "Yes, just be patient, breakfast is on its way" mumbles Clyde to himself.
