ROUND 1: NIGHTTIME

The new chief walked around the square, stuffing her freezing hands into the warmth of her pockets. She had been appointed recently after the previous chief had failed to find the murderers. Edith, which was the chief's name, hoped that if something similar happened, she would be able to deal with it better. Edith shivered into the cold October night, but perhaps, just perhaps, not because of the cold.

It was because of the feeling that something odd might just happen tonight.

Edith had already set all measures, starting with patrolling the streets at night, to make sure that... it... didn't happen again. she buried her chin even deeper into her scarf, hoping against hope that nothing odd would happen. Not today, she prayed, not the day that I am appointed. I'll be thrown in a cell faster than the old chief.
She shivered at the thought, and looked up.

Edith knew instantly that something was wrong.

ROUND 1: IN THE MORNING

Edith woke up, expecting to hear shouts of the villagers at yet another dead body. It was all silent, and Edith thought that the night had a very eerie feeling to it.

Sitting up, she looked out of the fogged window, and everything was... calm. Quiet. No signs of a disturbance or a murder. After Edith had dressed up, she stepped out onto the chilly snowy ground, shivering into her coat. The sun had only started to shine slightly, but it was warming comparing to last night.

She looked around the village; every single window was closed in the cottages, people no doubt wanting a lie in on a Sunday morning.

Surely no one could have been murdered tonight? Surely there would have been more havoc? More people shouting over the dead body? Edith felt a chill up her spine. Nothing had happened... yet.

OOC Notes:

No one has been killed by either the police or Mafia, or, perhaps they had been killed but saved. Drago Thanatos-Kholodov is muted, so unable to speak or vote.
