Tori was genuinely excited. When her friend Alliasta had approached her about the group idea, she'd agreed, and now here she was. She was curious to see who had seen the club flyer she'd posted on the bulletin board and how many people would join.
The desks in the classroom had been pushed aside, and the teacher had brought her desk into the center. She had also placed the parchment for the registration list, the ink, and two quills in the classroom, as well as a plate filled with animal-shaped cookies decorated with animal-shaped fondant.Hello, fellow pet owners. We'd love to see you in our empty classroom on Saturday, September 13th at 2:30 PM.

Besides Tori, her cat Athena was also in the room. She was playing with a ball of string she had brought from home. She waited for Alliasta to arrive. Perhaps she was busy, so he thought a few students might arrive before Alliasta. Meanwhile, when she hears the doorbell, she immediately stands up to see who is coming.

Hogwarts Pet Society
Maisie and Mischief were eager to arrive at the classroom for the very first meeting of the Hogwarts Pet Society! There was nothing Maisie adored more than her rabbit, but his existence with just Quigley in the room she shared with Avis was lonely. And cat and bunny did not exactly did along. So, Maisie hoped he could find new friends through this meeting.
Arriving at the empty classroom casually dressed in jeans and hoodie, Maisie clutched Mischief between her arms as she surveyed the space. There was open space for the animals and a place to sign up—and cookies! Maisie knew immediately where she was headed first. Ringing the doorbell, she could see there was an older Ravenclaw—Vikki? Victoria? Viola?—and somewhere back there she could see a cat too.
Pausing, she waited by the door frame to be let in. "Hi there! We're here for the Pet Society meeting," she called with enthusiasm. Mischief, meanwhile, seemed very comfortable in her arms. That was probably because he had no idea what was coming. In her head, she tried to recall how many people had signed up, and therefore, how many pets to expect. But eventually she just figured it was a fair amount.

Nova hummed excitedly as she smoothed out her outfit. Her Pygmy Puff, Trixie, sat perched on her shoulder and squeaking occasionally. She put a hand up to pet the purple creature's head, grinning as Trixie cuddled up to her happily. Quickly grabbing a few snacks for Trixie and herself, she shoved all her things in a small bag before practically sprinting out the Hufflepuff Common Room. It was already 2:25, and Nova would have to walk through the Grand Staircase, which waited for no one.
Trixie burrowed herself into Nova's pocket securely, not wanting to be swept away by her running. She gave her an indignant squeak and Nova just shrugged down at her. "Do you want to be late, Trix?" She asked exasperatedly, snorting at Trixie's squeak of approval. She walked through the halls, jogging now to look for the correct empty classroom that had been written on the poster. She knew both the girls from Summer Camp, and they were both really nice.
As Nova finally came to a stop outside one of the doors, she quickly buzzed the doorbell before walking, Trixie peeking out of the pocket she was hiding in. There was another girl there already, holding a rabbit while Victoria's cat played with some yarn. Trixie squeaked up at Nova loudly, and she quickly gave her head a pat.
Giving the two girls a wave, she called out with a smile to Victoria. "Hey, Victoria! This is really cool!" Nova exclaimed, placing her small bag on the floor and propped up against a bench. She looked towards the girl with the rabbit who seemed nice enough. Trixie, noticing the rabbit in the girl's arms, gave a squeak which was half curious and half cautious. "This is Trixie, my Pygmy Puff." Nova said with a smile as she lifted Trixie out of her pocket. "She’s really judgy sometimes, so please excuse the attitude." She added afterwards with an amused snicker.

Alliasta ran in. She hadn't planned on being this late and was truly embarrassed, but finding a hiding ferret was incredibly difficult. She finally found the ferret with a trap she'd prepared with snacks. She give Kaito a nice little tie and then groomed his fur. The ferret was in her lap. As Alliasta ran in, Kaito stuck his tongue out, clearly amused. She came in with several plates of snacks and candy stacked on top of each other.
When she looked inside, Victoria had already prepared the area. Alliasta couldn't thank her enough, both for helping her with the club and for preparing the registration area. There were already two people inside, which was a huge improvement.
"Hey, hey, hey! Sorry I'm late, Tori! And I'm so grateful you got everything ready."
Alliasta quickly walked over to Victoria, gave her a polite nod, and a big smile. She left the sweets on the table. Then she glanced at the people inside.
"You have no idea how excited I am that you're here! And Nova, I'm so glad you're here too!"
She waved and smiled at her friend, whom she already knew from summer camp. The idea of this club was refreshing for Alliasta; it was an opportunity to meet new people, and of course, their adorable pets!
Alliasta knew that pets were a real help at Hogwarts. They kept the incoming first years from feeling lonely, and she was sure everyone else was happy to have their cuddly pets around all the time.
