Aye, no. The only similarities I have with her is we share the same appearance + hobbies and we put academics as priority above all else. This girl snarks on people for no reason at all – the result of her paranoia and distrustful nature. I am kind of uptight but not as uptight as her. She follows the rules with no question whereas I do love bending them a little to see how far I could go. I hate this girl jk .

It will be a yes and No for me as well for I am a true Gryffindor through and through while my little girl is a Ravenclaw but hey who knows maybe I am also a little bit of both houses lol..

All in all I absolutely love and can say we are both smart, funny, kind, loving, loyal to the end type of friend!!!!

Yes and no. Shes like me where she likes to hide her feelings and likes to socialize and cares a lot about other people. But er trouble making at school is something I'd never do or have done

Kinda, like Lily is a down-to-earth girl, while I am proud of what I do. She is a quiet girl, while I am a loud one. But there are several similarities. She is a night owl and loves to read books and I do the same.

everest is pretty much my polar opposite — i'm a huge extrovert and very much more of a doer than a thinker haha. the trait we share the most is probably feeling out of place, since i also move around a lot

When I first created my character three (roughly speaking, four) years ago, I tried to give her interests that differed from mine, to the point I could never relate to them, such as being a teacher's pet, too extroverted, overtly talkative, and enjoying dancing. That was so I would not end up self-inserting.
However, as it turns out... In the past two years, I've realized I do enjoy dancing when I try, I am extroverted and talkative when I'm comfortable and I am a massive teacher's pet.
So... No, but it's complicated.

No, Azzure was made in the image and likeness of my dog. So if anything, her personality is derived from my dog's. But other than that, I would aay that Ive self inserted on more than one occasion when writing highly emotional scenes for the sole reason that I can write those types of things better when I'm placing myself into the headspace.
