Dear English Girl in America (Summer)
Hi Summer! I'm writing this on platform 9 3/4. We're about o board the train, but I really don't want to. I can't believe we are second years now. Their is so many people here. It seems like more than last year and the first years seem so much smaller. (Even though I was probably that small then too!)
It feels like forever since I last saw you this summer. You'll have to tell me all about summer camp. Did you do the amortunnel ride I was telling you to do? Did you meet anybody special? Anyway, I just want to tell you, I'm so sorry I couldn't go. I'll try to go next year, this summer was just a roller coaster.
Anyways, I can't wait to see you again at the fall dance! Do you have your dress yet? I'm sure you're going to be beautiful. I miss the little fashion shows we would do when we were four in our parents dresses. The train is about to leave and mom and dad are pushing me and Tiana to the train. I guess I have to go, write back soon!
Ellie handed the letter to a random owl flying around, trusting it to deliver the letter to the right person. Ellie got on to the train, and, with one last look at her parents, she boarded the train, excited for Summers letter response
