Partially hidden in the back of a wardrobe at Ravenclaw Boys' Dormitory, Cormac has found one dust-covered radiocassette along with a big cardboard box full of old tapes. Fascinated by his newest discovery, he's determined to find out just how loud it can play. And what better way to do so than throwing a party? He's quick to cover the castle's hallways with banners that read as follows:

icarus experiences his very first panic attack, brought on by a terrible mishap during a charms lesson. with a wrong flick of his wand, he found himself the target of roaring laughter when he found he had not mended a broken ink quill, but instead fused his shoelaces together. while he was able to keep it together during charms, as soon as class was dismissed, the boy runs off to a corridor in a hyperventilative state. the reaction is quite unusual for the steely-faced slytherin, but the pressure to be perfect is enough to break even the strongest of people. thankfully, a kind person manages to keep the boy from breaking down further and perhaps a friendship blossoms from the discord.

for one reason or another, icarus and ________ cannot seem to get along. the relationship was doomed the moment the two met. the sable and the _______ family have been on bad terms ever since the patriarch of the sable family, cadmus sable, may or may not have falsely accused and led to the eventual imprisonment a member of __________'s family who threatened cadmus' honor. icarus and __________ have been taught to despise the other and their rivalry remains strong without an end in sight.

Friend or Foe

Not everyone is what you think! Frenemies or just someone that seriously gets under her skin as she does the other person's.

I would like to work on a more active, this person gets to me EVERY.TIME. type scenario. Rivals with classwork or even outside of class. Just some sort of back and forth with another person that might be difficult or the opposite of Lark's typically friendly and outgoing personality.

I had started this with another but they have since been MIA. No hurt feelings OOC of course and all in good fun! Even if you really enjoy ragging on other people and being a bit of a bully THEN I would like to make this a thing!

Thinking doing class threads where they're often place together for groups, errands, etc. Maybe see each other somewhere and the rival makes it a point to be a bit snarky and try to push Lark to really snap back.

LATER IN HOGWARTS
Possible keeping the rivalry and it getting rather toxic or something major happening and them forcibly bonding and realizing they have more in common than they thought. Maybe like a 5th 6th year thing.

Again just a general topic we can discuss more!

Losing Herself

Third year - I know itll be awhile.. but to keep in mind and even gear up a knowledge or meeting possible people to suck Lark to the dark side starting third year.

Lark has some family deaths and issues that will be popping up. I dont want to list it all here but in her third year this will end up making her doubt herself and act out a great deal. She'll be harboring a lot of emotions and working through quite a bit not to mention just in general hormones and what not.

I want her to maybe start being influenced by some more.. tough students? Not necessarily bad but ones that normally Lark would never have meshed with being kinder and protective of others.

Not sure how long itll last, not the full year as she will end up having something happen to bring her to reality and realize she isnt being who she wants to be but someone she thought she should be to this new group or person shes befriended.

I'd like someone or a couple any year students that arent in Ravenclaw that are sort of snarky and a bit of a bully to others. Pressuring her to be the same and prove herself to not be so 'good'.

I am open to other ideas that people may have

So the Winter family is a respected pureblood family. While Airlia might not care so much about her blood type her parents do. They're traditional and as such hold two ballroom events each year. One in the summer and one in the winter, the winter one being exceptionally important as it celebrates the end of the year and the beginning of a new one.

This includes fancy dresses, tuxedos, exceptional behavior (unless you wish to stir some trouble) and meeting people of importance. All the important pureblooded families are invited, marriages are arranged, (maybe even for Airlia if someone is interested; this doesn't have to actually end with them together) evil plots created and political ties are born. If your character is pureblooded this can be an interesting RP opportunity.

All are welcome with the only requirement being a pureblooded status. We can have an RP with everyone interested in this 'event' or multiple threads if you wish to do RP with just me. Do owl me if you're interested since I would like to have multiple threads with a lot of people to make this winter ball really interesting.
