Lunch and Go
Gawd it as noisy in the Great Hall. It was like every student in the school was stuffed into a single room. The roar of the chatter was deafening as the girl made her way over to the Slytherin table and looked over the spread. The house elves outdid themselves as always, there was more food here than any child could reasonably eat, she actually wondered what they like... did with the left-overs. Did the food just *poof* away and vanish, was it given the the critters in the stables or was it just wasted?
It did not matter too much really. She grabbed a few slices of bread and buttered them before she wrapped them in a napkin. She was a carb-a-holic really. Her mom warned her that in a few years she would have to quit or get fat but for the moment she could live so why shouldn't she. Bread was life. She looked around and saw cheese, the -other- most important food. OK, cheese and bread is about as balanced as she was going to get. She grabbed a few pieces of a nice hard cheese and wrapped them up in a napkin as well. "Good enough," she announced with a smile. "You got what you need too?"

Lunch and Go
I was never one to dislike crowds. The same was true of here. I had no problem being around so many people but Marion always wanted to get away, probably to spend more time with that Ravenclaw pure-blood she always goes on about. Nice enough fellow, bit naive but still nice. Over the past year they have spent a lot of time together, it was nice getting to know them both but he missed eating meals like a regular wizard at their table or chilling in the common room. It was over, nobody knew and nobody was gonna know. They should just get on with their lives.
She was already set to go, she snatched a bit of bread and some cheese. Who needs a turbo farts potion when you got cheese? I was not nearly as ready, unlike the carb-loader I actually wanted a meal. Bread seemed to be on the menu, but whole wheat for me. Some mustard to spread. Skip the cheese. A token green - bib lettuce. Some meat, something lean. Chicken. Eh, good nuff. My masterpiece would be a sammich fit for a king. I wrapped my meal in a napkin and grabbed a handful of grapes. "Yeah, I guess... but tomorrow we should try sitting in the Great Hall for a meal. It is too cold to eat every meal out there," I complained as stepped away from the long table of food.

"You know we can't," Marion replied. He knew full-well why they couldn't. There was a secret that bound them. They didn't do anything wrong, at least that is how she saw it. They told people what they saw and what they heard and then something was done about it. They had no way of knowing how far things would go or what he did.
Had they know who he killed they would have looked the other way. Had they know that he would have been convicted, they might have 'forgotten' to show. Thank Merlin that they redacted their names and the paper was not allowed to cover the case. It had been so hard since that day, they couldn't talk to anybody about it. Their lives would be hell if anybody knew. All they had was each other.
"Well, last one to the courtyard is a --" her voice trailed off because she was already running away, carbs in hand. Vladimir was waiting and he could be a total grouch. It was not that there was no seating at there table, there was plenty. It was that they did not belong, not here in any case. "--muggle!"
She would rush out of the Great Hall, her land blonde hair trailing behind her.

Lunch and Go
She ran off without warning, last one is a muggle. Victor Moore was no muggle! I would see her push open the pair of doors and run into the hall. "I am no muggle!" I rushed out after her, she had a good head start but she ran like a girl. Well, she was a girl and while I knew that the chivalrous thing to do was to let the girl win, that made no sense to me. I was going to give it everything I got and I was going to beat a girl. Sure, it was nothing to brag about but who was I going to brag to anyways.
I would rush out of the the Great Hall, empowered by real food rather than simple carbs that I stuffed into my mouth what would not fit into my pocks. A girl, some cute girl from my house would nearly get plowed down as I rushed past. "Sorry!" I was not actually sorry but it seemed like the right thing to say.
I was fast, faster than her at the very least. I would catch up in the hall. "Sucks to be a muggle Marion!" She might have left the great room first but I was going to reach the Courtyard first.
