Dumbledore is considered good because of his dedication to fighting for the wizarding world's safety and for the rights of all people, including non-humans and Muggle-borns, even if his methods were complex and included some manipulative tactics for the "greater good". He was also deeply humane, capable of great kindness and a strong belief in love and friendship, though he made difficult, strategic decisions that he saw as necessary to defeat Voldemort.

but you almost never wanna pretend youre in a scifi universe. theyre usually so much darker and in fantasy you can give yourself cool powers! okay but i actually agree with you 100% on this scifi/dystopian is my absolute favourite genre

Hokey special effects, a stilted plot, and a storyline stuck in the middle is what the originals offer. The sequel trilogy has excellent special effects, more developed characters, and more mature metaphors! We don't talk about the prequels. I say all this, but I like the original series best, too, despite its downsides. Though, none of it is as good as *gasp* Star Trek: The Next Generation

the thing is I agree too BUT not during the entire book/movie, as a girl separated from her parents at a young age, she had to be cautious around ppl, esp males. and because she was js a child.. her personality wasnt as good as it should be..

well tbh I havent read the books (unfortunately) but I dont think thats true, because not everything adults say r correct. Harry has made the right decision multiple times without any adult advice.
