They were switching off- while Beauxbatons had the last round to themselves, it would now be Castelobruxo's turn in the final ticking moments of this duel. While Manu pointed her wand towards the sky above the opponents, seeming to call the clouds to her bidding, Ariam pointed directly at their previous attacker. A nearly perfect cast roared to life and fire erupted from the end of their wand towards the Beauxbatons boy. Yet while the flames grew, the strength seemed to catch Ariam off guard as they barely kept it shooting towards the other side. Phelan dodged easily, pausing a moment after with little realization of the trouble soon to strike him down.

Her creation and control of a storm had worked, the crash of lightning sudden and arcing as electricity surged between ground and sky. Phelan narrowly avoided the first, the strike destroying his hearing as it hit the ground next to his feet, the loud echoing rumble of thunder the warning for the pain to come. He wouldn't get so lucky the next times, hit by strikes in quite succession as Geneviève was left alone by the tempest. The first strike dazed the student, frozen in place with little strength left before the final crumpled him like paper. One moment he was standing and the next he was on the ground, the rumble still reverberating across the stadium as the duel came to a final halt.

The moderator hurried forth to get Phelan the medical attention needed, before returning to the center of the piste to spread their arms towards the remaining duellists. "With that, I believe we have a clear winner. Congratulations to Castelobruxo!" Cheers erupted, an opportunity for the duellists to acknowledge their achievements before being escorted off the piste.
