Speech -- Thoughts

Pam smiled softly, "It's alright really." I can't really keep being sensitive about my mother's death forever.

The shift to their next ride was a welcome distraction. "Ooh roller coaster?" Pam grinned as she looked around to spot the large roller coaster, Occamy's Flight written across the top. "Good choice. Hm... any idea what an Occamy is?" The two girls headed towards the ride, and Pam took a moment to study the winding rails, complete with rises and sudden dips. She placed a hand on her stomach apprehensively, Man I do hope I don't throw up afterwards or something. That would be a very embarrassing end to this date-but-not-date.

"So..." she blurted out, trying not to sound too nervous, "How good are you with roller coasters?" Pam supposed that she couldn't be too bad, considering the idea was hers. Unless, of course, she had never been on a roller coaster in the first place and had only heard of the good feelings and not the possibly painful aftermath. Pam did hope it wasn't the latter.

Soon, the tickets were bought and Pam grinned at Victoria as her earlier nervousness finally gave way to excitement. "After you." She said dramatically, stepping away to let the older girl enter first.

"I saw Occamy in a book. It is a creature that looks like a snake but has wings. The color of its wings is purple and the color of its skin is turquoise. Occamy also means 'Magnificent God' in Japanese."

Unconsciously, she blurted out the information on her mind. Tori blushed slightly when she realized this. Her hair also turned a slightly darker shade of red as she blushed. Pam's hair was still dark when she spoke.

"I've never ridden one before, but it meant a lot to me to have this first experience with a dear friend."

After the tickets were purchased, she chuckled softly at Pam's speech, lifted the hem of her invisible dress a little as if she were wearing a dress, and bowed slightly.

"You're so kind, princess."

In response to Pam's dramatic behavior, she responded and got on the roller coaster and waited for Pam to sit down. She felt like a princess in old times. This made her chuckle.

"It wouldn't be too scary, would it?"

Tori spoke with some fear as the roller coaster started to move. She could feel her adrenaline slowly rising. She clung to Pam's arm with a slight sense of fear at the sudden movement.

Speech -- Thoughts

"A flying snake?" Pam mused aloud. It wasn't a very charming thought, her mind automatically linking it with flying cockroaches. Then again, what kind of animals had purple wings which wasn't a butterfly. The magical kind apparently.

Her fears were proven true. Victoria had, in fact, never ridden a roller coaster before. Pam followed the older girl into the coach, torn between worry and amusement at the thought of what was no doubt going to be an interesting experience.

Pam did hope it wouldn't be a bad experience.

"It won't be scary, in the literal sense." Pam replied as the roller coaster jerked forward, rising up its first slope "It's safe, as you can see. Although, it may not always be good for your stomach." I do hope she didn't eat too much.

Victoria's hand on her arm was a stark reminder of the girl's interest in her, and although she didn't feel awkward, an unfamiliar stab of guilty shot through her anyway. She honestly had no clue what she was supposed to do.

Her excitement built as the coaster gradually reached the top of the first drop, sharp, but not as deep as the future ones which were sure to come. Pam grinned at Victoria, "I do hope you hold on to your horses!"
