Cirrus fell back onto the seat with a dramatic sigh of contentment and relief, the red leather of the seats cushions swallowing him in sweet comfort. He let himself sink further into the bliss of relaxation, easing his somewhat aching muscles and wary brain. Helping out with an infant baby was definitely NOT AT ALL as easy task, why did they make it look so easy on television?

Also the crying was definitely no joke, and honestly the series be watched did not do justice to the immense struggle and sleep interruptions created. As much as he loved helping out with his baby sister, and how dearly he loved Chamomile, it was safe to say he would not miss her crying. Was that cruel of him to think? Did he cry this much when he was a baby? Maybe he should think better thoughts—

That's when he recalled, his family, Cirrus quickly got up scooting over to the windows to peer out of it trying to catch a glimpse of them. He had to remember that it would be a good few months before the next time he would see them, that's when he caught them and immediately with his big goofy grin waved sporadically lacking purpose and uniform in it's movement, most likely due to his drowsiness.

They had been searching for him too and waved back, and just in time as an announcement was made accompanied by the large shrill tune of the train, as it began to steam and puff, signifying the beginning of the pasture from the designated platform. He waved them off until they were out of comfortable sight, before he slunk back to his seat as if anticipating this moment all his life.

He had spent half the summer with Hana and Aodhan, enjoying seeing his family and sight-seeing in South Korea, as well as a brief unexpected run in with Meiyu Xiang. It definitely had been a season full of surprises and endless fun, but it should also be acknowledged that this summer was, in addition to impossibly fun, was also nothing short of physically and mentally draining. Having to travel back and forth, wrestle his usual chore duties, get new fresh supplies for school, attending summer camp, doing some random tasks for some extra pocket change, as well as having to entertain socially.

Even with it being all so draining, he wouldn't change a second of it, which reminded him, only if muggle technology was allowed in the wizardry world, he would be able to send Gekko or Aodhan a quick text and see where they were to hangout together. But atlas, that was not possible in addition to the fact that Cirrus was too lazy to go about the moving train and find them in one of the endless corridors or departments. Not to mention the awkwardness of opening every single compartment, having to intrude onto people's business and then having to explain that you were searching for a friend.

He sighed to himself, he was already in general a very sleepy person, him lazing around school was not an uncommon sight, so in the addition to having a messed up sleep schedule— you can only imagine the symptoms of awkward movements, and off balanced-ness he showcased. The mousy haired boy had begun to nod off, falling over slightly so his cheek was pressed against the wall opposite to the entrance, arms crossed, maybe even drooling slightly. That was until he bolted upright from the shock factor of a knock accompanied by the compartment door sliding open, before he looked the first sense he got was smell. An earthy smell with hints of vanilla and the bitter-sweetness notes of cinnamon coffee, he recognized it, and as he looked up he immediately recognized where it was coming from, or much rather whom.

A smile immediately dawned onto Cirrus's face, showing off his characteristic dimples and snaggletooth as he did so, his honey brown eyes scrunching into half-moons. "Hey Oliver!" He gestured his head slightly saying implicitly that he could take a seat if he'd like. "couldnae find a compartment?"

Deep breath in, deep breath out.

That was what people had said wasn't it? Oliver had arrived at the platform, with only his belongings, and his cat. Aaron was there as well he supposed, But Oliver was still mad at him. For moving out of the Armani home, moving on with his life. Growing up. He'd spent most of his time during summer at Aaron's new house. Closer into Hogsmeade. Closer to that sad thing he had his 'job' waiting tables. Aaron could do better.

Annoyingly so, he could do better. Oliver knew it, so did his family. Of whom should be somewhere in the crowded platform. With his younger sister, she would be starting Hogwarts this year. He had heard his parents talk about it in hushed whispers. How she should be sorted into the 'right house' Unlike Oliver who had been placed in Slytherin a year ago to the day. He was almost sure he had overheard his grandfather's ghost say something along the lines of 'that boy has cursed this family.' It had been all the more reason that he stayed at Aaron's most of the time, just so long as he wasn't at home. With all the fuss over her, giving tips, his even younger siblings crying about how much they would miss her.

He had just needed some time away, and really that had been the best decision for him. It had been for the most part a wonderful summer. Otis rubbed his head on Oliver's legs, the clingy cat he was. Aaron put his hand on Oliver's shoulder. As the two of them looked ahead at the train, families were loading into it, people saying their goodbyes. "You ready Ollie?" Oliver wondered when the next time he would be able to hear Aaron call him that. He shrugged, Aaron's hand falling off his shoulder.

After a breath Oliver nodded, though there wasn't any heart in it. "I think I have to be," Oliver bent down at the knees, into a squat of sorts. Petting Otis between the ears before he took a handle of his trunk into his grasp. Lifting the one end into the air. It wasn't heavy, Oliver's eyes skimmed over the other kids who were struggling to lift their own with a scoff. He had noticed that he'd grown stronger over summer. "I'll see you on holidays then?" He asked over his shoulder. Knowing that he had plans to sneak into Hogsmeade any chance he could to see Aaron.

Out of the corner of his eye he could see Aaron's smirk, and nod. Oliver smiled back, before it faded quickly as he took the steeps into the train, dragging his trunk behind him. Looking through the doors to see any empty one. Unfortunately, the train went into movement as Oliver was looking for an empty one. Damn. That had left him unable to wave goodbye to Aaron, nor the ability to look for the rest of his family. He didn't want to bother looking for his sister. And had just knocked on the first compartment he saw, Otis darting in as soon as the door opened.

He smiled, "Cirrus." Oliver enjoyed his company, this was perfect. Oliver walked in, and lifted his trunk onto the racks above. He- rather dramatically -took a seat across from Cirrus, watching as the station disappeared from view. "Yes, I was looking, Glad I found one with someone I know." He didn't dare use the f word he wasn't fully ready to verbalize his friendship with the Hufflepuff boy. Otis jumped onto the seat next to Oliver, rolling onto his back, absentmindedly Oliver began to pet the cat.

He looked away from the window, back at Cirrus. "It's good to see you, How was your summer?" He asked, He looked tired. If Oliver knew people better he may have been able to say that with confidence. But he didn't, so he couldn't.
