Fancy Seeing You Here
Around this time more and more people began to crowd into the library and Amy started to bounce her leg. She was comfortable of course around her friends but the more and more people came in and brushed passed them or shot looks their way the more nervous she got, and her boucing leg and fleeting gaze could show that. Unaware of her actions, and scooted closer to her friend and tuned out the first bit of what he said, only hearing
"-truggling we could study together. We'd see each other more often that way. I'm also sure being pure blooded helps things go a little smoother if it just comes natural, but I don't know for a fact. And as someone aiming to be a prefect, behaving, smooth and study groups could be a good first step." and she looked up just in time to see him winking at her. This boy was the exact opposite of anything Amy was told from the men in her family. Boys were gross, loud, obnoxious and annoying. At least that's what she always thought. Now here was her friend, a boy, and he hadn't shown her none of that stuff yet. Maybe she was wrong.
"I don't know about being a prefect, but I really want to join the Quidditch team. My dad and I played it a lot. It was almost as good as studying nature. I hope you get it, I'll be silently cheering you on." he then added and she nudged him gently with her arm before grinning at him. "And of course I will too, be cheering you on. I'll be at all of your games, and I wouldn't dream of being anywhere but in the top row so I can see you flying about. If I'm shouting the name of my house, in my heart I'm cheering you on as well. Hey want to go explore? She didn't know where they'd explore at, but she knew it was becoming to crowded in the library. Even the librarian seemed to give up on hushing the students, and it would be a matter of time before people started sitting at their table since the other ones were full. Amy didn't want to risk it.

Lycan arched a dark eyebrow, glancing under the table as he saw her beginning to bounce her knee. People were coming in, and some were giving these weird looks and it seemed to be making her really nervous. They were making her so nervous she was scooting closer and closer to him. He didn't mind her coming so close, but he didn't like seeing his friend in distress.
He stretched back, looking at the growing number of students as he did so. She didn't seem to register all of what he had said, but she registered it well enough to nudge him and grin at him. He couldn't help but smile at her, then he patted her hand in a reassuring way.

He couldn't resist the smile when she mentioned silently cheering him on. He nodded when she mentioned going out to explore. He stood up, stretching once more. "That sounds amazing actually. Where did you want to go? If you like owls so much we could go see them if you want?" he asked and he looked down at her, waiting to hear her ideas.

The more people that crowded into the library the more nervous she got. How could so many kids be in one school? The library back at her old school was absolutely nowhere near this big, the most kids you ever saw in a library was about 5 or 6 at one time and that was during lunch. So to be sitting next to her friend and seeing 5, 6, 7, 8 , 9, 10 , and so on, was a shock for Amy. Especially when she started counting past 20. It was definitely time for her to go. In almost a rush, she grabbed her sketchpad and utensils and began to pile them into her mini book bag. Large book bags were a bit heavy on the small eleven year old especially because of how much shorter she was compared to everyone, and so the mini book bags did just the trick.
She watched as Lycan stood up to stretch. He was eleven, yet he stretched like he was a 28 year old father who just finished working a long day. This made her laugh. "Sore are you?" she joked and poked his flat stomach, listening intently to the words he spoke.
"That sounds amazing actually. Where did you want to go? If you like owls so much we could go see them if you want?", and Amy instantly perked up. So he remembered what animals she liked. Amazing. Nodding her head, she slipped her arms into her book bag and stood up, grabbing the falling handkerchief and tying it around her head into a bow, she allowed some curls to fall in her face as bangs. Turning to her friend, she said "I would love that. How do I look?" she did a silly pose and grinned, waiting his answer.

Lycan watched as his friend gathered her things almost in a mad dash. He couldn't help but smile at her needing to use a smaller book bag because of her size. Aww, that's adorable. he thought to himself as she finished collecting her things and herself. Lycan stood up to stretch. Tilting his head when he heard Amy randomly begin to laugh, asking he was sore. He was about to reply, but he got caught off guard when Amy just as randomly poked his stomach.
He looked at her and he grinned. "Not sore, just not used to sitting around so stretching makes me feel better. This is why I need to join Quidditch at the earliest possible time." he replied, then he draped himself over her. "If we don't move soon I just must cramp up and die." he joked, and flashed a side grin towards her.
He soon stood up normally, making sure she was steady and chuckled quietly. He mentioned going to the Owlery to see all the owls. She immediately perked up, standing and getting ready and he smiled. When she stood she asked how she looked and struck a goofy pose with a grin of her own. Lycan laughed quietly and he nodded. "Perfect as usual. Now come on before you earn yourself a fan club, Miss Hogwarts.
He gently took her hand in his own and he guided them out of the library. If they got any weird looks Lycan either didn't notice or didn't care. Once they were out of the library crowd Lycan heaved a refreshed sigh. "Ahh, air. Breathing is good isn't it?" he asked flashing another smile towards Amy as they made their way to the Owlery.
