Slumbers in the classroom
Ariana walked slowly down the owlry steps, a letter clutched in her hand. She was tired and her stomach ached of homesickness and worry. Hogwarts was great and all but she just really missed her family. Of course she had some of her brothers at Hogwarts, who, as always, looked out for her as often as they could, but they were often so busy that she didn't get to spend as much time with them anymore. Her tiredness wasn't helping her mood either, nor the fact that she had been given another detention again for talking during class. Her mind started to fill with worrying thoughts; What if she couldn't learn all the spells in time? What if she wasn't a good witch at all?! What if absolutely everything went wrong?! This was very unlike Ariana to worry like this, or be upset, because she hardly ever cried or was unhappy, but this time tears threatened to spill from her eyes. What was wrong with her? She turned the corner and absentmindedly walked into an empty classroom on the second floor, trying to shake her thoughts out of her head. The common room wouldn't help much right now-she wouldn't be able to enjoy the crowds and her groups of friends at a time like this. They would wonder where she had disappeared off to but, oh well, she'd go back later. The classroom was deserted and empty, perfect, she thought and she slipped into one of the chairs at the front and began to practice various spells and enchantments. Her whole body ached with tiredness and she decided to rest her head on the desk pondering on her thoughts. She yawned. A little nap wouldn't hurt, would it? But before she could finish deciding she had closed her eyes and fallen asleep. Minutes past by without the young gryffindor stirring from her deep slumber, her brown braids lay across the desk and her head was buried in her arms. Her sparkling, green eyes didn't even open when the classroom door slowly creaked open...

Slumbers in the classroom
Sola had been finding her way around the castle for the past few days. During the first week or so, they had been free to explore the castle and get to know the rules and the layout before classes actually began, but that time was over now.
It was so scarce to find a quiet location to just exist. The Great Hall was always loud. The library, despite being quiet, had so many people, and people often made her nervous. She'd actually taken up hanging out in the abandoned bathroom. Of course, that was before she realized why it was abandoned. Some ghost liked to hover and wail there. Of course, she wasn't that bad. She was a good listener and she loved to talk to people. But still, it wasn't a good place to focus.
She thought of asking some other students in her House, but she hadn't been able to work up the nerve. She supposed they might know somewhere quiet, but she couldn't. She just couldn't. But then a ghost had directed her to a classroom that was aparently abandoned during certain hours. it seemed perfect.
Quietly opening the door, she peeked in, and she startled. There was a shape slumped over on one of the front desks. She quickly entered, closing the door quietly behind her. Was someone hurt? She set down her things and made her way up to the front.
"Umm," she said quietly. "Excuse me, are you alright?"
When she got no response, Sola became worried. She moved over and nudged the girl lightly, and then a bit more insistently. Oh man, what if she was hurt or sick or something?
