Angelo is a boy with wavy black hair of medium length, has fair skin with moles, and bright, pale blue eyes, which are framed by silver wayfarer glasses (he is slightly nearsighted, which means his eyes will appear minimally smaller with glasses on). He is a bit short and scrawny in stature, with a height of 137 centimetres (~4’6”) and weighing in around 29 kilograms (~64 pounds). He frequents a neutral expression that almost seems like he's always in thought. However, when he is feeling a lot, he can be quite expressive.

Angelo will never be the one to speak first with strangers. He is on the quiet side and always prefers spending time with people he trusts (and on that trust list, is primarily himself). He usually scrutinises the actions of others and himself before acting, but his expressions can sometimes reveal his inner thought. He will often "test the waters" before acting on anything, seeking any positive or negative reactions from others he talks to. Because of this, he has a rather binary thought process, either trusting easily or staying detached. While social matters don't concern him, he is good-natured at heart, despite his solitary attitude.

Angelo was born on December 3rd, 2013 in the suburb of Bow, London, England. He was born to Linette Angelova* and Tsvetan Angelov. He would be the only child of the family, meaning he did not have regular interaction with his generation (for example, being raised with siblings), contributing a lot to his isolated mindset.

*In Bulgarian surnames, female surnames end with -ova as opposed to the male version of -ov. They share family names and the last names arent different, if this confuses you, sorry!

Before Angelo was born, his mother and father always had arguments over his mother's decision to become an Auror. His father, who is a muggle, always had opposed the idea, believing it would be dangerous considering the risk it could pose. He believed it was too difficult for her to maintain a work-life balance. However, she wanted to become an Auror since a young age and her desire to become one soon became her first priority. This would be the catalyst where she started to fall out of their marriage, finally leaving when Angelo was two, believing that if she left earlier it would be better for the both of them. Tsvetan would accept this but also feel slightly remorseful for how things turned out.

He was raised by his father. This resulted in him growing up in a non-magical household with very little knowledge of magic, since his father's understanding of the magical world would limit to what Linette had shared with him prior to her absence. Because of the overall limited understanding of magic, both Angelo and his father see it as mysterious and even abstract, especially Angelo. Because he has no memory of exposure to magic before Hogwarts (other than his first instance of magic and any exposure of magic before two years old), Angelo found the topic of magic foreign and preferred a muggle lifestyle, seeing it as more "normal."

He would attend a muggle school with minimal amounts of friends. Other muggle children his age would not treat him well because of his reluctance and shy nature around them. It was during this time he became more curious about his mother and magical background, becoming slightly more aware of his half-blood heritage.

Eventually, this curiosity of his mother and magic would lead to his first instance of magic, which occurred when he was ten. His father would finally tell all that he knew about her, describing her personality and telling Angelo that she left for a magical job and that they were not on good terms anymore. This left him with a sense of longing and regret for not knowing his mother any deeper, and when he isolated himself in his room to try to remember her, he found that his doorknob was frozen solid in ice.

It was then July 2025 when he received his letter of acceptance to Hogwarts. This would force Angelo to change his entire perspective on magic and adapt quickly to the Wizarding World. Some might even think he is muggle-born with how clueless he can be with some magical terms (such as Charms class, as an example)
