i mean girlll if u lived in a world where the general society demeaned and hated u + ur kind, u would keep it on the down low too!!

at least for scout, it started out not as bad, but her internalized racism developed and is getting more intense as she grows up...... the day WILL come where she can accept and love herself but thats like 4 more years into the future lolol
