The chaos of Platform Nine and Three-Quarters buzzed around her, the sound of children saying bye to their family and meeting their friends could be heard. Madeline also stood next to her family. She was about to start her first year at Hogwarts and she was pretty excited. Her mother fussed with her scarf, tucking stray strands of hair behind her ears. “Make sure you keep your robes neat, Maddy,” she said, though Madeline was never much of a disciplined or neat girl. She smiled at her mother knowingly to which she sighed.

Her father ruffled her hair, smiling but firm. “Try not to get yourself into trouble on the train, alright?”

“Trouble finds me whether I try or not,” she muttered, smirking at him.

Louis leaned towards her, smirk already on his face, “Don’t get lost on your first day, little sis. I’d hate to hear you blaming me for directions.”

“Or setting something on fire,” Benedict added from further down, rolling his eyes but grinning. " I dont want someone coming to me saying your sister did this and that"

Both the brothers grinned at her and said " Our baby sis is growing up too fast". They started sniffling and wiping fake tears as their parents smiled at the kids.

Madeline groaned, tugging her trunk behind her. She shot them a look. “Don’t act like I’m leaving you guys! We’ll be in the same place anyway,” she said, mocking their fake sniffles and melodramatic sighs. “Honestly, you two are hopeless,” she added, loud enough for them to hear, then spun on her heel and gave her parents a quick hug. “Bye, you lot. Don’t worry—if Hogwarts eats me alive, you’ll be the first to know.”

Ignoring the calls and teasing from her brothers, she slipped into the nearest carriage, sliding the door shut behind her. They can go meet their friends themselves, she thought, I know their friends are just like them so I'm good here. Empty. Peaceful. She dropped her trunk with a soft thud and flopped into a seat, scarf dangling loosely around her neck.

Finally alone, Madeline let out a long sigh. “Hogwarts, let’s see what you’ve got. One quiet, uneventful first ride… is that too much to ask? Please don't let my brothers come here”
She sighed as she sat down in the seat of an empty compartment, ready to start her new journey!!

Tatiana set off to the Hogwarts Train carrying her trunk as though she was carrying a sackful of potatoes, she hadn't realized that she'd packed so much stuff in it 'till she noticed that she'd brought at least two trunks and a small briefcase for her personal belongings that she might need and wouldn't have time to dig in her trunks to find them, both of the trunks were stuffed to the point that it almost looked like it was about to explode.

It wasn't her fault—well, probably a tinsie bit. Her godmother had been worrying that she wouldn't have enough of her home necessities she usually used, Tatiana kept telling her that they would at least have some decent ones that she could use, though there was a small bit of her that hoped the things in there were sanitary and reserved just for her.

She was having a hard time carrying all of it and the fact that she was getting these rude stares and some people were talking behind their hands, she had this odd sunken feeling that she was the one being talked about, but this is the first term, she couldn't get her hopes too high and just assume because of her gut feeling.

She slithered her way throughout the compartments and finally found one that was slightly deserted except for another student (probably another first year) and being the respectful, polite young girl that her godparents had brought up, Tatiana asked the girl first before possibly intruding to her quite seance, “Um, hello there, may I sit here?”

The noise of platform 9 and three quarters was no different to Casimir then any other run of the mill train station. He was still taken aback regardless; though his mother had told him exactly what he needed to know such as entering the platform and hopping on the train he couldn't help but feel a sense of exsistential dread lurk over him. Maybe he wasn't cut out for this at all.. maybe the letter he got was a phony. Casimir's eyebrows furrowed as his mother who right behind him placed a hand on his shoulder.

He relaxed slightly, as he stopped pushing the trolley with his trunk and suitcase as he turned around to look at her. Casimir's fingers let go of the trolley he was pushing as he hugged his mother tightly, not wanting to let go. He may have felt excited getting the letter but being here now and realizing he'd be away from the one person who made him feel safe was dawning upon him. The mother and son embraced as he felt that sense of warmth and care spread through his chest.

"It'll be okay. I promise you.", Casimir's mother assures him. She pulls back a little as she clasps his hand between her own. They felt rough yet soft at the same time, funny how that worked. Regardless, Casimir forced a smile, nodding his head, "Yeah I know mom.", he tells her as he kissed her cheek, his mother smiles and kisses his forehead. As they say their goodbyes, Casimir boards the train.

One foot in, another one in. The boy was finally in the express. As he pulled his trunk alone whilst holding his suitcase he began to eye the compartments for potential seats. It was going to be a long ride so finding a place that was comfortable was of utmost importance. Casimir took slow steps, his eyes looking at each compartment that was filled with the chatter and buzz of kids of various ages. Some excited to start the school year, others exctied to continue their second year.. or third... or fourth.. you get the idea. He sets his eye on a nearly empty compartment. Two girls sitting alone, pretty quietly too. He knocked on the door poking his head in.

"Sorry.. do you guys mind me taking a seat?"

Madeline was sitting in the compartment, hoping her brothers wouldn't reach her when her inner thoughts were interrupted,
“Um, hello there, may I sit here?”
Maddy looked over to see a young girl, maybe about her own age, standing at the door of the compartment. She smiled warmly and said "Yeah, sure, there is plenty of space here".

Madeline noticed that the girl had very pretty features, maybe she was a veela?

As Madeline was about to introduce herself to the girl, there was a knock at the compartment door, and a boy poked his head in,
"Sorry.. do you guys mind me taking a seat?"
, Maddy noticed, he was young too, perhaps his first year also?

She smiled warmly to the boy in return and said, "No, I don't mind, there is plenty of space here, and who would say no to new friends on their first train to Hogwarts?" she grinned to both the new people in the compartment.

As they both settled down, Maddy introduced herself, she pulled her hand out for a handshake saying, " My name is Madeline Tomlinson, though Maddy is shorter and better, if someone calls me Madeline, it reminds me of my mom, because that is what she calls me when I do something stupid" Maddy grinned reliving the time, and having a pang of disappointment, that it would not happen for a long time. She shook her head to get rid of the sad thought and focus in the present, "So? what are your names? Oh yeah! and what house do you want to get into?"

Maddy had always been energetic, confident and talkative. Since her birth she would feel like she fits anywhere, and right now she felt really excited to reach Hogwarts, perhaps these would be her new friends.
