Date : July 1st, 2024 Color code : Written|Thought|Said "Yeah, I'm starting to like everything about duel. All about wands, spells, and curses. I'm getting used to it." Sere smiled a little. "Sure, I'll let you know when my official duel starts." The girl was also curious about how it felt to have someone supporting her in the official match. It already felt so good, just by thinking about that. Sere became even more excited for her next duel.
"Whoa, the names of the clubs you joined, I've never heard any of them before. There must be so many clubs in the school." Sere added one more to her to do list: checking out the clubs. If there is, or there are some clubs that caught her attention, she would consider to join in. "Yeah, first year is indeed a very blurry one." The girl agreed, seeing the fact about how many things she didn't know after talking to the Ravenclaw girl across her.
Sere listened to Brookline's explanation about Owlery and the correspondence. She finally understood how it worked, after a whole year of not having time -or rather not giving any time- to find out how the Owlery system worked. "Thank you for that. You're very informative. Wait... huh?"
Sere's eyes scanning all over the compartment, feeling something strange, "It feels like something is missing? Do you feel the same way? Like... Something that earlier was in this compartment." Sere checked her belongings and the things around her, everything was fine, nothing's missing. "Huh? My belongings are all in its places. It's strange. Maybe this is just my random feeling?" Sere scratched the back of her neck.Interacting with : @Brookline Quinn

“Yay!” Brookline exclaimed, when Sere let Brookline have permission so the Ravenclaw could support her in her duels. “I can’t wait, spells has always been so incredible to me! I’ve always been interested in all spells, but healing spells has always been stranger. Like, I want to learn them. Master them.” A crazy ambitious smile spread across her face.
“Whoa, the names of the clubs you joined, I've never heard any of them before.”
Brookline shrugged. “I don’t know, I just find a club that’s cool or something and join, if I can, that is. But you should join Acts Of Kindness though! Its so fun.” She smiled, as she mentioned the kindness club. She loved kindness. If she could, she would give everyone a hug and a smile. Unfortunately some people didn’t like hugs or even smiles.
Brookline nodded as Sere thanked her for explaining the basics of owls and letters and the wizard form of sending packages and letters.
“Wait.. huh?” Sere said next, and her eyes scanned the entire compartment. Brookline furrowed her eyebrows, wondering if Sere forgot anything or anyone. Then the Gryffindor continued, explaining that she knew that something was forgotten or missing. She checked her baggage, and Brookline checked her own belongings.
“D-did you forget something?” Brookline asked, her voice quivering ever so slightly. She would hate it if something was forgotten, or she, herself had forgotten something. Sere told Brookline it wasn’t her belongings, that she remembered all her things, then the Gryffindor girl rose her hand to itch the nape of her neck.
Umm, trunk. What else did I bring? Brookline’s head snapped as her eyes traced everything in the room. Oh c’mon, Brooke, THINK.
Now realizing the dread of the ‘oh shoot, something’s missing’ feeling, Brookline glanced around, and her hand groped around the seat to feel that unmistakable feel of her kitten’s fur. But all she felt was the cool tingling feeling of the train seat. So she tried looking at the ground, and kicked her legs about to feel Tigeress’ slender body. At one point, Brookline felt something solid, and she gasped but had hit Sere’s leg instead. Mumbling a feeble “Sorry,” Brookline ripped out of her seat, to check behind it, and around it. When she couldn’t find the tiger-like kitten, she looked back at the compartment’s door.
TIGERESS!!
Brookline started to tremble. She turned back to the Gryffindor girl. “Erm, Sere? You wouldn’t happen to know where Tigeress is a-at?”

Date : July 1st, 2024 Color code : Written|Thought|Said Healing spells. Something that was quite interesting for some students. Sere remembered that she talked to some others who were also interested in healing way in terms of 'saving other lives'. Unlike all of them, Sere preferred a way that... could directly affect someone physically. Attacking, casting spells, confronting with her magic. Maybe this was the direction Sere imagined 'saving other lives' would be. Brookline, this girl could join the healers. Sere would recommend her to join the healer internship at the Hospital Wings later, because right now the Ravenclaw girl seemed to be starting to look here and there. "Like I said earlier. My belongings are all in its places. Nothing's missing, nothing I forgot to bring. So I guess it's just my feeling. Don't worry about that."
Too late. Sere could see Brookline getting up from her seat and moving her hands to find something. Because of the rummage, Buddy woke from his sleep and jumping restlessly in the cage, "Calm down, little buddy." Sere reminded the Mist Hopper, not to make the atmosphere more hectic.
Sere remained still on her seat, trying to not add up the uneasy situation, until a few moments later Brookline spoke to her and asked about... Ah! That's right! Tigeress! The cat is missing! Sere realized it now. A few moments ago she saw the cat rolling on the seat, but now it's gone. No wonder the seat next to Brookline felt strangely empty.
"Hey hey, friend. Calm down." Sere tried to calm her down, "Does Tigeress have a habit of staying in a certain places? Or liking certain things? Maybe we can start looking from there." Her right hand tried to grab Brookline's left arm and asked her to sit back in front of her. "Don't panic."Interacting with : @Brookline Quinn

Brookline couldn’t hear Sere’s voice as she began looking around. All she heard was, “Don't worry about that.” And that only made her look harder. She started to breath, in and out, but that only made her breathing quicker. “Your feeling was right, Sere. Tigeress is missing!”
She looked back behind the seat, again, and tried to breath again. “Tigeress? Come on out, we’re not playing hide-and-go-seek! C’mon?” Brookline added, her voice a higher octave than normal, trying to coax Tigeress out of her hiding spot. She crossed her fingers as she looked under the seats. Perhaps she was there? No Tigeress there either.
Oh, you cat. Why?? Please come back. This isn’t a game. Brookline thought and sighed. Why did Tigeress always think everything was a game?
Then Brookline felt a calm voice and a reassuring arm on hers. It was Sere. “Does Tigeress have a habit of staying in a certain places? Or liking certain things? Maybe we can start looking from there.”
She sat back down, looking at Sere, and took a deep breath. “Okay. Um, well. She likes hiding, and thinks everything is a game. Tigeress also likes to run off sometimes. Although she always comes back. But she’s on a moving train, how is going to where she’s at?” Sighing, Brookline slumped. “So, Sere. How are we going to find a cat on a train?”
She thought and thought. Thinking all about where Tigeress would want to go and why. Maybe she smelled food, and went to the food cart? Or Tigeress wanted to get off? Oooo, no, let’s not. Oh! What about in the restroom?
“I think I know where she’s at! I went to the lavatory, first, to change out of those stupid robes. Perhaps Tigeress went there?”

Date : July 1st, 2024 Color code : Written|Thought|Said Sere's attempt to calm Brookline down didn't seem to work well at first. The girl was still moving around, and she even opened her mouth to ask Tigeress to come out in a higher tone and more panicked than before. In this situation, Sere would just stay still and wait until her friend's panic subsided. Once again, she tried not to add spice to the heated situation.
After few moments, Brookline finally calmed down and tried to respond her questions. Sere's attempt was finally worked. In her ear, most of the questions directed at Sere were caught like Brookline's own attempt to analyze the possible locations where the cat escaped. Such a good and wise step.
Brookline finally came to the conclusion that Tigeress might be in the lavatory. Sere seemed to think for a moment, then stood up, "Then I'll try checking the food cart over there," Sere pointed to the food cart in one corner of their carriage, "Since Tigeress is definitely not in our compartment, she's possibly sneaked out because of something, could be some kind of delicious aromas from the cart that attracts her."
Sere stepped out of their compartment after saying, "Let me know if you find her, I'll do the same." Her mind tried to bring up the image of Tigeress she saw earlier. A Brown Classic Tabby that eyes were similar to her name. Alright, let's find the bravest one.Interacting with : @Brookline Quinn

That's fine!
Anyway, I think one of us should be able to find Tigeress in the next post. I'll follow your plot and let you choose who finds the cat based on your post

Brookline was panicking. Panicking, that her fingers were shivering and that she couldn't think straight. It was insane, why would Tigeress run off lies that? Without so much as goodbye or see you later?
Oh, wait.
Tigeress was a cat. Of course she couldn't do that. Brookline wanted to slap herself. She was being stupid, it was crystal clear that without Tigeress, she couldn't think straight.
Sere had just told her that the Gryffindor girl would check the food cart, that Tigeress might of stopped there for a pit stop in her sneaky game. Of course she might!
"Let me know if you find her, I'll do the same."
"Okay. Hope we find her." Brookline nodded. She would check her around her trunk one more time before the girls would do a frantic search party. Just before Sere left, Brookline would add, "Sere? Thank you so much." She would let Sere check the food cart, and right after the girl left, Brookline ambled quickly to the restroom.
She practically sprinted inside the lavatory, her knees knocking together due to the fast-moving train. There was a sink running blueish water. Brookline stretched her arm over, and turned the streaming water off. Perhaps Tigeress was by the windows or stalls? She checked every stall, then checked the windows. She scanned the scenery, the rolling green hills, and trees blurring past.
Once Brookline checked the whole lavatory twice, she stepped out, defeated. Perhaps Sere had better luck, she thought, her small frame slouched. She would head to the food cart, when she heard the familiar sound.
"Oh my gosh! Tigeress!" Brookline practically yelped. She slapped a hand to her lips, and uttered a pitiful "Oops," when she remembered she was on a moving train and yelps were for danger. She followed the sound, nonetheless she caused someone panic with her loud exclamation and excitement.
"Oh, Tigeress..." The Welsh Ravenclaw whispered, "Stop your playing and come back to me! You almost caused me a heart attack!"
Okay. She was exaggerating. But still. Tigeress was her beloved kitten.
Then a brown nimble shape came into view!
You playful kitten. You're such a silly kitty.
"There you are! Come here." She picked the small little kitten up, and headed to the food chart. Once Brookline caught sight of Sere, she bounded over to the Gryffindor, and exclaimed, "I found her! Sere, I found her!" She held up the kitten as if Sere couldn't see the tiger-like cat sitting in the Ravenclaw's arms.

Date : July 1st, 2024 Color code : Written|Thought|Said Separating herself from Brookline, Sere approached the food cart. At first glance, the cat was nowhere to be seen. Examining the cart, Sere had some thoughts, "Maybe Tigeress is interested in jerky, or sausages, or shrimp flavoured snacks..." Sere crouched down and rummaged through the snacks and treats... for nothing. She couldn't find Brookline's cat anywhere, until she heard the Ravenclaw yelping, shouting her cat's name.
With lightning speed, Sere stood upright and turned 180 degree. She approached Brookline, who was also walking toward her. Sere's steps were calm but slightly wider than usual. "Oh my gosh! There you are, the bravest one!" The girl couldn't hide her relief. She gently rubbed the back of the brown furry that was already in the owner's arms. "How dare you make my friend panic like that?" A few more quick, affectionate strokes followed the joke before Sere pulled her hand off Tigeress.
"I'm glad you found it." Sere then asked where Brookline found the cat as she led their walk back into their compartment.
Sere quickly placed everything back to its places, tidied up the trace of panic, and flopped onto her seat. "That was pretty... nerve-wracking," She clasped her hands together in front of her chest, unexpectedly correlating what had just happened between them as a 'good memory', "I think I'll write a few things about what had just happened. That was one of the meaningful memories for me. Is that okay?" The Gryffindor asked for an approval, her head leaning back. She yawned. Sleepiness was starting to creep in.
"Umm, later. If that's okay, I'll write something about us later, after a short nap." Sere signaled to her interlocutor that she was going to enter her dream. It wouldn't be long, of course. When she woke up, she would start another conversation with Brookline, her new friend, as they were homeward bound.Interacting with : @Brookline Quinn
