Arienna grew up in London with her mother, Amy who worked in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures and her father, Damien who died when she was 4 years old but was a wandmaker. She has three older brothers and a pet hamster who she could not bring along to Hogwarts with her. Her magic first surfaced when she was 7. She was walking in a park and she found a small beetle which when she picked it up, turned blue. She was rather surprised by this so she ran to show her mother who told her that that was magic. She was never able to turn beetles or anything for that matter, blue again.
