Character Backstory: Brown curly hair with golden streaks in the sun, green eyes, lots of freckles. 4 foot 6. A very intriguing girl, she seems to always be lost in her own head.
She loves her friends fiercely and cares greatly about the decreasing whimsy in the current world. She always speaks what's on her mind, even if it doesn't quite make sense. She perpetually feels lonely. She wishes she could sleep 24 hours a day, and would, if she didn't have classes. She spent most of her childhood reading, desiring an entertaining escape from the mundane, a habit she still keeps today. If she were not a witch, she would probably pursue a career in art history. She deeply values sustainability and ethical labor sourcing and so she has made all her own clothes since age ten, mostly by knitting and sewing.
The Soluna family is Pure-Blooded, but not prejudiced. They value knowledge and open-mindedness. They are a long line of herbologists and healers. Her parents divorced when she was 6 and remarried new partners shortly after. She loves her parents dearly, but sometimes wishes they were a little more involved in her life. She has two step-siblings on both sides, all of whom are older and have already graduated from Hogwarts. She sometimes feels like the forgotten child, cherished but left to wander on her own.
Her favorite artist is Gustav Klimt, and given the option, she could speak about him for hours.
First Instance of Magic: At age 4, during a tantrum, she accidentally caused a window to spontaneously shatter. After it happened, she got very scared and ran to hide under her bed. Her parents were ecstatic, however, and bought her a plushie to commemorate. She still has it, a ratty old stuffed cat, falling apart but still loved. She can't sleep without it.
