Letters, Owls and Meetings
It's been a couple of days since Vivi stepped into Hogwarts and she remembered that she had not written to her parents yet! She sat in her dorm and started composing a letter. This is how it went:

Perfect! Vivi folded this piece of parchment and placed this into an envelop and sealed it. Now the only thing she has to do now is to owl it. Vivi started her trip to the Owlery. It was rather a long walk to the Owlery which was in the West towers from her dorm which was in the Slytherin Dungeons. After Reaching the Owlery, Vivi searched for an owl, which she can use. She spotted a fluffy barn owl that was sitting on one of the perches and gave the envelop to the owl which he took it in his beak. She saw him flying out of the window till he was out of sight. I wish he would come back soon with a letter!, she thought.6, Hasting wood,

Dear mother and father,
I am in good health and am cheerful as ever! I hope this letter finds both of you well. The couple of days in Hogwarts was amazing! I guess you would have heard by now, but I was sorted into Slytherin just like you dad! I cannot tell you that I was happy with my house at first. I was afraid that I might turn bad! You know what they say, "There's not a witch or wizard who went bad who wasn't in Slytherin". But now, I am assured that there are many good wizards in Slytherin (that includes you dad!) and that Slytherin has it's own good traits. I made many friends here in every houses who are very friendly and kind! I'm glad I have not brought any enmity to myself and I hope I will not through out my Hogwarts journey! My classes has been going on great and here's the best part - I got O's in all my homework till now!!!! I miss both of you terribly! I wish I could see you now. Let me hear from you soon.

Edith thought that she was going to be the only one. It was, after all, 7:11 in the morning. She was bringing a letter to Holly and her foster mother (Ellie) - saying she was OK. This was what it said:
That was as good as it was going to get. Edith didn't want any prying eyes reading her letter, so she went up to the Owlery early in the morning, hoping no one was there. Someone was.𝓗𝓲 𝓗𝓸𝓵𝓵𝔂! Edith was not in her best state, and she hurriedly tried to straighten her hair for the person, before she realised that it wasn't a teacher.
"Oh. Um, hi?" she said, but it was more of a question. She wasn't sure if the girl was the talking type or not.
"I'm Edith, what about you?" she continued. Maybe she was even going to be friends with that girl. She seemed nice.
"I'm.. uh, in the second year..." Why did she sound so unsure?
"Yeah. Would you... would you like to be friends?" That sounded so blunt and straightforward, and Edith wondered whether the girl would want to answer.
